Plan Falls Apart

"In three more minutes, all of you will be dead." Kuro declares to the horror of the pirates. Jango shouts for Buchi to deal with Zoro while he takes care of Luffy. But before anyone could make a move...

"KLAHADORE!! STOP IT!!" Kaya appears and shouts. Everyone is surprised by the sudden arrival and the pirates realize that they only need to kill the girl to finish their mission.

Kuro asks Kaya why she is here and she reveals that Merry told her everything. Kuro starts saying that he didn't even show mercy and is surprised that Merry is still alive. From those words Kaya realizes that Kuro has been fooling her all this time and says sorry to Usopp for everything that has happened.

Usopp shouts Kaya to run away but Kaya doesn't back down since Usopp is fighting even though everyone treated him so badly. Kaya offers to give all her money so that the pirates would leave the village alone but Kuro denies her and starts talking about how this is not only about money but also about peace.

He tells her how she needs to die and leave a will for him to inherit while Usopp shouts to Kaya to not negotiate with him since he is not the butler she knew. To everyone's surprise Kaya draws a pistol from her coat and threatens Kuro to leave the village.

Kuro starts going all melancholic and starts talking about the times they went through these past three years and then turns to rage for the humiliation that he had to bow down to a spoiled little brat all these years and how glad he is to be able to kill her today. This breaks Kaya and she starts crying as the gun falls off her hands and Usopp charges at Kuro trying to punch him.

"This damn idiot." 'You are a long-range fighter, why are you going melee?' [Get rekt! I don't like him anyway.]

Kuro dodges Usopp effortlessly and prepares to slice him apart as revenge for the punch that Usopp gave him for insulting his father. But before he could do anything a fist stretches and punches him in the face knocking him down to the dirt.

"If you really hate being hit then I must make sure I hit you a few hundred times!!" Luffy shouts at Kuro while cracking his knuckles.

"Zoro, do you mind castrating that bastard for me?" [Slice his tendons] I ask Zoro as I look at the scum with hate.

"With pleasure."

And all the pirates are bewildered how he knocked Kuro down from all the way down the slope. With a sudden shout three small figures rush out and their weapons towards the downed Kuro's head. The three brats start smashing Kuro's face in like there is no tomorrow while the others shout them to stop.

Kids stop their beatdown and start a shouting match with Usopp about why should they leave and why didn't Usopp tell them. Suddenly Kuro gets up and the kids start screaming in horror as he gives them a death glare. But Kuro ignores them and walks nonchalantly up to Usopp and gives him a strong kick that sends him flying few meters down the slope.

"I'm a bit curious. That was quite an odd attack you just used. Looks like you possess the power of the Devil Fruit, don't you!?"

"Yup! I ate the Gomu Gomu no Mi and I've become a rubberman!!"

"Why do you always go around telling your enemies about it!?" I shout as I'm tired of Luffy always exposing his powers and weaknesses like it's nothing.

The rest of the pirates freak out like always from the revelation and Kuro orders Jango to kill Kaya and the kids while he himself deals with Luffy. But before Jango can do as ordered Zoro blocks the way and Jango once again sicks Buchi at him.

"Cat Technique: Flying Drop Kick!!" Zoro dodges the kick but the ground cracks and even the other side of the cliff edge breaks down and crumbles to the shock of our defending group. Jango starts going past Zoro and Buchi who are too busy fighting but is stopped by Usopp. Usopp shouts his orders to protect Kaya to the kids and starts to face off Jango while Luffy comes and gets ready to face Kuro.

I notice some rubble dropping from above and look to find the damage from drop kick slowly spreading and even reaching where I'm resting.

"Shit! Nami, help me move!" I call out to Nami for help before the cliff starts dropping again while the rest start fighting their respective opponents.

Nami drags me to lean on the fallen bow and I tell her to steal some medical supplies from the ship. By now Zoro has successfully taken down Buchi and goes to help Usopp who is getting pressured by Jango. Luffy struggles a bit with Kuro as he is quite tricky and smart opponent with swift and silent movements.

"Here you go. Let me patch you up properly this time." Nami changes her impromptu first aid into a proper one.

"You are crazy, you know that?" "I know I'm insane but what's this about?" I question Nami's sudden insults.

"It really was insane what you did. Fighting like a mad beast. Not minding about your injuries and brutally beating the pirates."

"So that's what happened." I sigh at the revelation of my self-destructive berserk state.

"What do you mean? You did all that. What else do you think I was talking about?"

"Well it was all a haze for me. I went on instinct and wasn't really aware what I did."

"So it was all instinctual?" She looks at me in wonder. "Even when you..."

She mutters something at the end but I'm too tired to even care. I see Luffy blocking Kuro's claws with a boulder that had fallen from the cliff and snaps the claws and smashes the boulder on Kuro's head making him kiss the ground hard.

As he gets up, he announces how everyone is going to die, no exceptions. He can't have people knowing that he is still alive after faking his death. Luffy insults them all for being dumb idiot losers. Kuro starts lecturing Luffy how a "real" pirate group works and obeys the captains every command. He shouts that a little brat like Luffy would never understand the way of a pirate.

Luffy doesn't give a shit and says that Kuro is still inferior than Usopp. Kuro laughs him off and uses Stealth Foot to appear behind Luffy but Luffy backhand punches Kuro to the wall. Kuro gets triggered and decides to show Luffy what the terror of a real pirate is and starts swaying. The pirates start to panic and flee and even I realize that this is going to be bad.

"Nami, quickly get up on the ship!" I struggle to get up as I tell Nami to hide inside the big ship.

"What's going on? Why are you and the pirates suddenly panicking?" Nami looks on in confusion as does Luffy.

Suddenly Kuro shouts "SHAKUSHI!!!" and vanishes into thin air. Suddenly large cuts appear on random pirates as they fall down screaming and pleading for mercy. Even some small cuts appear on Zoro as he defends himself and Usopp. As Nami and I move towards the ship I get a weird feeling like something is coming and push Nami away with all my remaining strength and *SLASH* "AAAARRGH!!!!" "DRAVDE!!"

I fall down clutching on my right side that now sports a nasty looking claw slash while barely conscious.

"DRAVDE! HANG IN THERE!" Nami gets down and tries to patch me up.

"Run, you fool." I say weakly to Nami but she doesn't listen with tears on her eyes.

Luffy starts raging at Kuro for disrespecting the lives of his comrades and by using Luffy's shout Kuro is able to pinpoint Luffy's location in his highspeed movement and slashes at Luffy. As Luffy gets slashed he grabs a hold of Kuro and smashes him down. Before Kuro gets a chance to start his Shakushi again Luffy latches on to him and immobilizes him and stretches his head far backwards.

"GOMU GOMU... BELL!" Is the last thing I hear before I fall unconscious.

"Everything hurts..." [I hate my life.] I whine as I eat food while trying not to open my wounds.

"Just suck it up, man. You'll be fine after eating and sleeping."

"Yeah! Eat, eat!" Zoro and Luffy try to "cheer" me up but they aren't doing a good job.

"I would eat but you are eating my portions too, bastard! If I could I would stab you!" I growl at Luffy who keeps sneaking bites from my plates. We notice Kaya coming over and she tells us that she has prepared a gift for us.

"Zoro, carry me!" "You want me to carry you?" He looks at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Like a sack of potatoes, please." "Heh, sure." He flings me over his shoulders "Urgh." as I groan.

When we get to the shore we are greeted by the sight of a caravel. The iconic Going Merry. As we marvel the sight of our new ship, we hear screaming and notice a huge ball rolling towards us. Luffy and Zoro stop it and we notice it was Usopp with an absurdly large backpack. While we get on Merry, Usopp speaks with Kaya and prepares his little boat.

While Usopp decides to say his goodbyes Luffy and Zoro interrupt him and tell him that he is on the wrong ship and he should be here with us. And so Usopp joins the crew while trying to get the captains position from Luffy and they start arguing while laughing.

We say our goodbyes to Kaya and set sail. Everyone gets their own drinks as we prepare for a small party.

"To a new ship and a new crewmate!!"
