Tabitha felt irritated with Silas's hands and body around her. She didn't care how he might feel if she pushed him away, as she wanted to find a place for comfort, but she couldn't, prompting her to ask for the chocolates.
Silas drew her closer to him with a hand around her waist and the other on her face. He made Tabitha look at him while she pushed and struggled to free herself from his hold.
“I hate you,” Tabitha pouted at Silas. “I wanted to take you and make you… but you just don’t want me to, and I hate you!” She felt upset as Silas untangled himself from their cuddling, and when she wanted it back, it was difficult to reclaim.
“Are you upset with me?” Silas inquired.
“I want my chocolates,” Tabitha responded.
Silas turned to the table and grabbed the chocolates to offer her. “Don't you want a morning kiss from me?” he asked as he unwrapped the chocolate pack for her.
“I don’t want a kiss from you,” Tabitha answered.
