Valerie's POV
To be honest, I didn't see that coming, I felt my heart palpitating loudly, and I can swear that beads of sweat ran down my cheeks just now. What can be worse than being embarrassed in this manner.
The man beside me turned to me and then back to her. I wonder what he must be thinking of me right now. I managed to look around to see if she had succeeded in attracting people's attention towards us, but thankfully everyone was still enjoying the performance of the comedian.
Furthermore, I heaved a sigh of relief and then turned back to the lady who's still staring at me as though I murdered her parents last night.
"Excuse me, do I know you? Like, have, we met before? Because your face doesn't look familiar at all." I said to her in a politely, although she's been utterly rude. Well, one of us has to be mature and sensible. We can't be two mad dogs in the same cage.
