A Meeting With Hector

Christine's POV

I left my office with Ben bothering behind me. I won't be holding a conference call with Mr. Hector if I have to choose; he will have to keep reminding everyone throughout the meeting that I am his potential spouse. Sir, Mr. Hector is the only person present at the conference. Ben said, making me to cessate in my tracks, is this actually an authority meeting or an individual one. "Why didn't you tell me about this sooner, Ben?" I tried to speak softly, but it didn't work because I could see some workers looking at us. "Please accept my apologies, his secretary just educated me." He answered, and I had no other decision except for to go on with my means. He pushed the entryway open and I strolled into the gathering corridor, I glared at seeing the most brutal money manager I've at any point met sitting easily in a seat. "Hello, son-in-law..." I immediately interrupted his sentence. "Would-be, I'm not yet hitched to your girl." I remedied shapely with my eyes focused on him. He made a sound as if to speak clumsily prior to tapping my shoulder delicately. That wasn't a typical comment or speech: "That title will surely expire in a matter of time." As he took his seat, he smiled broadly. I realize that something is off with it. "I came actually to talk about the states of our coordinated effort to cooperate on the scaffold, which is a global venture." He began after I sat on my seat with my elbows put on the huge oak work area and my hands entwined while I gazed at the elderly person with limited eyes. "You must also marry my daughter before the project can begin. The task will start off in two months' time, and by then your wedding probably been finished and tidied." His smile this time was wider and more sinister. "If I accept your terms, I will visit your office tomorrow morning." I said as I got to my feet. This man is desperate and will stop at nothing to get his daughter married to me. "Alright, I will anticipate you." Before escorting him out of the room, I extended my hands and gave him a handshake. I couldn't think straight when I got back to my office. I would prefer not to have my youngster breed outside away from me, however, this undertaking is our extraordinary chance to have more prominent open doors. I called Valerie's number when I picked up my phone, but she didn't answer. Besides, I called two times, lastly, she addressed the third one. Subsequent to telling her what I needed to do, I hung up right away, and I mean this choice of mine. I will marry Anita if Valerie does not show up; when my child is born, I will have custody of the child. This morning is not going as smoothly as I had hoped. "Ben, don't ask me why; get me a bottle of bourbon," I said. I taught him prior to advancing into the room which is appended to my office. Following a couple of moments, Ben presented to me the beverage, I emptied the alcohol into a glass and swallowed down its substance very quickly. "Oh…man." I shouted as the substance soaked my entire body. "Return to your office, for what reason would you say you are gazing at me? Do you need a taste?" I asked him while smirking and raising an eyebrow at him. "No.no, sir, I will be coming." When he left the room, he trembled in terror, and I heard the door close shortly after. "In the end, his out." Despite the fact that Ben does not report all of my activities to my father, I despise his courage to walk for him behind my back, which causes me to occasionally dislike Ben's company. Relief washed over me as I drank another glass of the liquor. Before leaving the room, I thoroughly brushed my teeth as I went to the bathroom that was attached to it. I must appear as competent as possible. Before returning to my office, I applied my perfume and spray mintt mouth freshener. Moreover, I started to deal with my PC, browsing a few significant messages since I wasn't prepared for the mainstay of records sitting tight for my unmistakable on them. Why commit a costly error when my mind is not fully prepared to function? "Hi sir" My secretary talked through the radio which is associated with every one of my secretaries and departmental directors. "Speak." I wasn't in that frame of mind to pose dumb inquiries, as a matter of fact, I'm in the temperament to toss a couple of punches all over. "A woman says you asked her to see you, but she has no appointment..." I didn't let her completion anything she desired to say before I stepped my hands on the work area while hollering. Allow her entry! She quickly hung up the call, and I kept browsing out messages and answering to the ones I needed to. I pressed the green button on my desk when I heard a knock at my door, and the transparent door opened, revealing Valerie. She entered my office without noticing the expression on her face, which indicated her astonishment at the eloquence in front of her. I think I've given her enough time to feed her eyes after a while. I made a sound as if to speak and shouted out, frightening her simultaneously. "I have no recollection of asking you to come to my office. "My house," I said clearly. I accentuated on the expression 'my home' While gazing into those hazel bruised eyes of hers. While twirling her fingers, she looked no where but my eyes. "I misplaced your apartment's address." She responded firmly without exhibiting any nervousness, which is one of her strengths: she is strong and courageous. "Do you really want commendation for that?" I asked while continuing to focus on her with an impenetrable expression. When my intercom rang and the same secretary's voice was heard, she was about to say something. "Sir, Mrs Marciano is here to see you."
