Eloise told Justus to send the money over to Austin Co. at noon. Then, she told Ella that her family chauffeur would be coming over with the money and that she should go get it herself because Eloise had to go out for an errand.

Ella checked the time and saw that it was almost noon. So, she went outside to wait. At this time, Justus called Eloise and told her that he was almost at the doors of Austin Co.. Eloise in turn told him that she was going out for an errand and would be asking Ella Parsons, a company employee, to collect the money on her behalf.

At this moment, Eloise entered Nathan's office and said, "Nathan, I saw Ella hurrying to the company's doors with anxiety. I don't know what has happened to her."
