Detached

(reality looks beautiful from a glass box, yet dreams seep through the redness of our guilty look)

Herman held onto James’s hands and uttered the words, “let memories take control of time, allow what has disappeared to appear” and with those words James woke up in the middle of an empty road, when he brought himself up from the floor, in front of him stood a little boy in tears. The child did not take his eyes off him and right then the boy grabbed his right hand and started to run away while pulling James with him. Although James tried to pull himself free from the boy’s grip, he could not, even his endless screaming towards the child did not help either.
