Jacklyn just sat there and didn't say a word. She was following Ash around with her eyes making sure he didn't lash out. She just sat there listening and taking everything in that he was saying.

"Then, when we talked about how everything is changing; how she was always busy and I always had to pick up the slack afterwards, and she doesn't want that for me anymore. Scarlett said she wanted me to be happy; after that, we talked about the title she wants to uphold in her father's honour and our relationship not being able to keep up and so on. We made a mutual agreement that it was best to go our separate ways; she's been conflicted for quite some time now between James and me because James confessed his feelings to her, which I knew exactly that he would do." Ash explained further.

"Wait? James confessed his feelings to her? That's a pretty bold move telling a girl who is in a relationship that you love them. That's pretty bold." Jacklyn laughed.
