"Well, that explains a lot. Why Scarlett doesn't like the word princess." Ash chuckled.
"It's not that Ash, It's more the fact I just hate the word itself. I had no idea I was some sort of princess or whatever?" Scarlett said.
"I think that's pretty cool. A princess, I knew you were a lot more than what you said you were. I totally on to you." Jacklyn laughed.
Scarlett chuckled to herself and then rolled her eyes after.
"Don't get me wrong though, It's pretty cool yeah, but I'm not going to wear a tiara and a big princess dress, no thanks. Not a chance," Scarlett said.
"You don't have to sweetheart, no one will make you," Cadence said softly.
"I hate that word too, sweetheart." Scarlett scoffed.
"Well, what shall I call you? Princess? Scarlett? Darling? Please, give me some direction here." Cadence asked.
"Scarlett is fine." Scarlett smiled.
Ash stood up and took all the empty cups to the sink and washed them. Jacklyn walked over and began whispering to Ash, leaving Scarlett and Cadence to sit awkwardly in silence. Jacklyn walked back over to them and sat down next to Cadence
"How long have you been away from your castle now?" Jacklyn asked,
"Well, about three years now." Cadence replied.
"So, there is a good chance someone may have already moved in? I say, we go over there and demand what is rightfully yours." Jacklyn said.
"We can't just do that Jacklyn. We must knock." Cadence said.
"What is it with all these royal people and manners. Manners won't get you nowhere, demand that stuff back" Ash said firmly.
Scarlett nodded before getting to her feet. Cadence did the same followed by, Jacklyn. Ash joined them over at the table and wrapped his arms around Scarlett's waist.
"We're gonna need some sort of defence then, in case they attack us," Scarlett said smiling at Ash.
"Defense? We are just going to get our home back not a fight." Cadence said concerned
Jacklyn giggled to herself before sighing to herself in disbelief.
"Do you even know how to wield a sword?" She asked
"Easy on Jacklyn, She's a queen, not a warrior." Ash laughed
Scarlett pulled away from Ash and walked over to the corner of the room. She pushed a book in the bookcase and it opened.
"I didn't know that was there. You've been keeping this whole room a secret?" Jacklyn said shocked
Scarlett nodded before pushing the bookcase to the side, revealing a dark doorway. She walked in and down some stairs.
"Well come on ou guys! What are you waiting for? We got business to do." Scarleyy yelled up the stairs.
They all walked down the darkened stairs and Ash shone his phone light down so they could see where they were walking. They reached the bottom and Scarlett flicked a switch revealing a while room full of guns, knives and swords.
"Are you guys like in the military or something? This is a lot of weapons." Cadence exclaimed.
"No, being a hunter I just need a lot of resources. Guns, knives, swords. You name it, we got it." Scarlett smiled.
"Really?" Jacklyn smirked.
"Yep, Winchester rifles, Barett 50s, 30 odd 6s, Desert Eagles, Beretta 92F, Glock 17, M1911 or cult 45 if you want. We got; 357 magnums, sniper rifles, even though we don't use those, M16, M1 grand, sworn off shotguns, Bowie knives, karambits, machetes, kukri, You know, those cool knives in Resident evil, a good movie and throwing knives. For swords; Katana's, two-handed broad sword and Scimitars. We got everything you could think, minus ninja stars and grenades. We don't deal with that stuff here." Scarlet said, going around the room pointing to the different guns.
Cadence stood in the centre of the room shocked. The guns were separated into each wall for a different category; Snipers, knives, swords, rifles and so on.
"What's this one?" Cadence asked picking something up from the corner.
"Uh, That's a rat." Jacklyn laughed.
Cadence screeched and threw the dead rat down to the ground before running beside Scarlett.
Scarlett walked over to a box, placed it onto the table beside them. She pulled a key from her necklace to opened the box.
"Now this, this is my pride and joy," Scarlet said, pulling a sword out from the box.
Scarlett pulled out a Katana. The case was made of real silver, with 1ct blue diamonds lined the top and bottom of the case. She pulled the blade from its case and held it up in the sky. The blade was made of platinum, almost appearing white. The handle was black woven silk followed by, carefully placed small aquamarines, about 1ct to make the handle. There was a black silk ribbon falling off the end, glistening in the light.
"How did that cost you?" Cadence asked,
"This thing? Well, blue diamonds are expensive so is platinum, around $350,000? last time I remember." Scarlett said.
"Woah, where did you get all that money from?" Jacklyn asked,
"I'm a princess duh, Daddy paid for it. I'm sure it probably cost him a million but, that's what I remember it being." Scarlett smiled.
Jacklyn nodded and went over the shelf and picked a gun up. She cocked it and looked down at the barrel.
"This is amazing, A whole room full of guns. At your house." Jacklyn said.
"Yeah, pretty impressive. We got a good deal on it." Ash added.
Jacklyn picked up a pistol and slid it into her pocket followed by, knives in her boots. Ash picked up his guns and knives. While Scarlett just took her sword from its case and some knives. She walked over to Cadence and handed her a Katana. The hilt was a deep rich purple, blade made of high-quality steel and the case was oak wood with laser-etched floral design.
"Do you know how to use one of these?" Scarlett questioned.
"I'm a queen, I've never even held one in my life. So, no." Cadence replied.
"Scarlett? Are you sure you want to do this? I mean look at you. Your injuries from Heath, surely you would want to wait before getting into another fight again? I'm just concerned for you, I don't want you to die." Jacklyn said.
Scarlett nodded towards Jacklyn and closed the box and returned her sword to its case.
"Well, we better train you up then," Ash added.
"Alright, I'll stay and train with you guys. When we're done I'm going to head off home. I need to be with my mother during this time, someone has to tell her what had happened to Heath. I don't think I'm psychically able to go through another fight right now. If that's okay?" Jacklyn asked.
"I understand, not everyone is as strong-minded as Scarlett, even with her wounds she wants to fight. Seriously, shes reckless. No worries Jacklyn, I will go with you. I could use some time off too, we could try to rebuild our friendship up. I want to be there for you." Ash explained.
Scarlett smiled at them.
"I understand. I wish you all the best. Now let's get this show on the road." Scarlett said determinedly.
"Isn't this dangerous? I've never used a sword before." Cadence said shaking.
"No, We got you. Scarlett is a legendary hunter, after all, she won't hurt you, only teach you." Jacklyn smiled, placing a hand on Cadence's shoulder.
They all left the room and Scarlett closed the bookcase door behind them. They headed outside to the huge garden they had. The paths were the cleanest cobblestone ever. Bushes blooming with roses of all colours. Blood red, midnight black, royal blue, cotton white. There was a tall black iron fence that surrounded the garden. There was a garage with a Harley Davidson bike in there.
"That's your bike Ash? I've never seen it in person, only pictures" Jacklyn exclaimed.
"Yeah, I don't use it much now, but if you ever want to use it, go for it," Ash said.
There must have been at least a mile of the garden, it was huge. Bushes, flowers, roses, a tall fence, huge shed, garage, everything you could ever want was there.
"This place just gets bigger and bigger! How did you guys afford all this? This is amazing." Cadence exclaimed
Scarlett smiled and nodded. Scarlet loved her home, it was so big and spacious plus, beautiful.
"Well, when two minds think alike anything can happen. Also, working for money and all that. Ash helped out hugely, so in return, I bought him that bike." Scarlet said.
Scarlett pulled her sword from the case and passed the expensive case to Ash. He took ahold firm of the case and walked backwards away from them, to avoid being hurt.
"Alright, enough chat. We have a lot to do if we want to get you all trained up. We need to teach you the basics and how to work with guns, which I'm sure Ash will help you with and Jacklyn will help you with knives. You ready Cadence?" Scarlett said.
I actually checked the prices of blue diamonds, platinum, silk, silver and aqua for the new sword SCarlett has and it came to around $346,000 something so i decided to round up, of course this is not a realistic price, its just a story average price.
