A woman's weight is always 'light'

As Avel outgrew his baby crib, his mother had gotten him a new mattress that's set in the living room, on the other side of the wall where his sister's mattress' lay. Right after dinner, the two parents head upstairs for the rest of the evening while Pleres remained in at the dining table, chatting with her younger brother on what he's been up to.

"Um, hey sis'. Could you have a little spar with me?"

"Hm? I don't really want to hurt you, lil' brudda."

"It's fine. I just need some combat practice and one that's against a mage too."

"Mmm, I'll agree on one condition."

"Okay, what is it?"

"You'll sleep together with me tonight. Hehe."

"Huh? Can't it be something else? How about a date instead?"

"Aww. Is your big sis' too old to be sleeping with you, now? Let's see... Okay!"

'Isn't it the other way around..'

"Alright, when do we start?"

"Ehhh, I'm quite tired since I've just got back. How 'bout tomorrow? Besides, I wanna know more on what you've been up to. Have you been seeing a girl?"

"Alright then. I've been doing the same.

I've been meeting two friends, if that's what you're asking."

"Eh?! Two girls?! I didn't know you were such a player, lil' brudda. As expected."

"No, only one of them is a girl. They are my two friends that I've been playing with."

"Ah.. It seems you have competition lil' brudda. Shall big sis' help you out?", she suggested, posing with her arms, as if they indicated that his next choice of words would result in an injury towards Vamyr.

"I don't have competition... Nor do I have a crush on Lily."

'She's way too young compared to my current mental age. Haah, the troubles of being reincarnated while retaining your memories.'

'Hm? What if my memories were supposed to be wiped? And that I was meant to be a clean slate, just as a baby? Shit. Why couldn't I meet some sort of being that'd at least answer some of my questions?'

"So Lily is her name? I see. I'm rooting for you lil' brudda!"

'It seems that even though I've grown and have the ability to voice out my opinions, my family would hear things differently, contrary to what I would say.'

The next morning came, and as Avel had tried to get up, he was unable to, feeling a lump of weight clinging unto his chest under his sheets. As he looked downwards, he finds his sister happily dozing off with her arms around him, as if he was her bolster.

"Hey, sis', I can't move."

Yet no response was made as Avel pondered as to when his sister had decided to sneak into his bed last night.

"Oh my, look at these two go. Looks like someone's clingy."

"Good morning, mum. Can I get some help, please?"

"Hmmm, nope! I wanna treasure this moment, seeing the two of you together."

Not long after, the four of them had breakfast together, Avel, expressing somewhat of a grumpy face as he was stuck in the position under his sister for over half an hour. Later, the two siblings were seen a few blocks away from the backyard, in the midst of the forest. There, Avel was in a stance having his practice sword in front of him, readying a blow that's to be expected from his sister, all while in a frown.

"Aw, c'mon lil' brudda. You're not still mad at me, are you?"

"I'm not. It's just that I had to pee while you were holding onto me."

"Aww, then why didn't you move me, then?"

"I tried. You were just too he-"

[Blasts of fireballs were seen heading towards my direction. They were each about the size of a baseball, I estimate a good five of them aiming towards the upper region of my body, the rest were towards either sides of my body, possibly lowering my chances of not getting hit if I were to dodge.]

[As I was in the readying stance of parry, I attempted to calculate a swing that'd strike the five that were directed towards me. Given how there were different variations of distances between which fireball would hit me first and the last, I could somehow make a 'C' shaped swing.]

[They were coming at me fast, if you ever first learnt how to ride a bike and tried cycling at your highest speed, that was the rate of speed in which the fireballs flew at.]

'Although I'm not sure how much strength I show put into this swing, might as well estimate and go for the long game of endurance.'

[I swung my sword upwards with both hands in a reverse incomplete, 'C' shape, striking the 5 fireballs. I'd put about 60% of my strength into that swing. Although I struck all of them, the fireballs didn't dissipate into thin air like I'd hoped, instead the resulting force exploded, leaving me heavily scathed as burn marks were visible all over my body, especially on the arms.]

'What happened to, 'I don't really want to hurt you'?'

"What did you say?", she feigned a smile as she looked at her brother, unfazed by the burn marks on his body.

"I said, you were too h-"

[More fireballs were launched towards me, this time I was ready, I was able to see the amount of mana surrounding and within her and how she was able to utilise it into making the bursts of fireball.]

'Shit.'

[Not only were they larger, twice the size of the ones that were previously shot, but there were way too many of them that I'd be able to count.]

'Didn't think I'd use this so soon.'

[Focusing on the mana within my red-skinned train, I casted the first spell I'd ever work on.]

[Time dilation.]

[As I gained more control over my own senses and perceived time at a slower rate, I began to analyse the gaps between the fireballs and any sort of exits available for me.]

'This spell is still incomplete as it takes about 20% per second on my total mana capacity within me.'

'That's 'per second in real-time, not in perceived time.'

'The fireballs were about to reach me in less than 3. Yet, with my 'adjusted' time dilation spell, I'm able to with work about 20 seconds. Meaning, that's 10 seconds perceived per real-time.'

'Hence, in total I'd only be able to use the spell for 5 seconds, in real-time before completely exhausting my mana.'

[However, 20 seconds were more than enough as I was able to find a gap between the fireballs and slashed my way through, being unscathed this time.]

"Huu..", I breathed out, as I stopped channeling my mana into the spell.

"How'd you do that?", puzzled, she looked at her brother wondering how he'd managed to get out of the situation without taking any damage. She believed that she had lost control of her emotions and went a little too far in terms of the spell that she had just casted, but instead, she was left in awe.

"It's skill."
