Surprisingly, he didn't undergo significant external changes compared to usual as he merely just acquired numerous spiral patterns in yellow and green on his body.
"Hehehe, under the protection of the great Trigon, I possess an authentic undying body. You'll never be able to defeat me!" The demon felt slightly surprised by Yuri's transformation, but it brushed it off. No matter what tricks the opponent used, they couldn't possibly eliminate it.
"The great Trigon?" Yuri silently noted this name. It seemed that these demons were devout followers of a deity called the Trigon.
Facing the demon's provocation, Yuri had no intention of responding.
Yuri's entire body started to twist in an eerie manner. He seemingly casually extended his hand, stirring the seawater continuously.
His speed didn't seem fast, yet in just an instant, a conical helical current formed rapidly amidst Yuri's stirring, surging towards the demon across from him.
"How much power can such a small current possibly have?" The demon sneered, not bothering to dodge. It stood still, waiting for the attack.
"Hmm!"
The next second, the conical helical current pierced the demon's heart.
"Hahaha! Useless, useless. This puny current can't even kill a dog, yet you thought it could pierce my heart?" The demon laughed maniacally. After several instances of bodily reconstitution, its hardness had far surpassed its initial state.
"Oh, is that so?" Yuri's eyes narrowed slightly. Arrogance often came at a price.
Yuri's stirring of the water suddenly accelerated. The conical current immediately began to rotate, and its speed soared dramatically, resembling a power drill as it drilled beneath the demon's skin.
With an astonished gaze, the demon saw the current pierce directly through its heart, exiting its back, then looping back around to its front, enveloping its upper body and tightly immobilizing its hands.
"But we're not done yet!"
Following that, Yuri's other hand also began stirring the seawater.
The second conical current emerged. Under Yuri's control, it swiftly ensnared the demon's feet.
Both currents secured the demon—one end securing its upper body and the other its feet. It was as if Yuri had bound the demon with two ropes.
"Useless! Everything you're doing is futile. I am undying. No matter how many times you kill me, I will resurrect!" The demon sneered.
"I know. That's why I never intended to kill you from the start," Yuri smiled mysteriously at the demon.
"What are you planning?" Hearing Yuri's cryptic words, the demon started to feel a sense of impending doom.
Yuri was manipulating the two currents with his hands, initiating large-scale circular movements. From another perspective, Yuri's current actions bore a strong resemblance to performing magic circles or something.
As for the demon at the other end of the currents, it started rotating automatically around its own body's center, its speed increasing progressively.
Indeed, Yuri was channeling the power of spin onto the demon.
After a few seconds, the demon's rotation speed had escalated to the point where it became impossible to track, and a massive spiral current began coalescing around its body.
A waterspout, as wide as its bottom was sharp, took form—its apex being the demon itself.
Subsequently, the waterspout, carrying the demon, began descending towards the seabed.
Meanwhile, Yuri positioned himself above the waterspout, continuously increasing its rotational speed.
"Down you go!" The demon, carried by the waterspout, plunged downward at an accelerating rate—30 meters deep, 50 meters deep, 70 meters deep...
This stretch of sea was not far from the coastline of San Francisco Bay, so the water wasn't particularly deep—barely reaching a depth of over 80 meters.
Once at the seabed, Yuri hastened his actions several-fold and forcefully drilled the waterspout—correction, now it could be termed a hydroelectric drill—into the ocean floor.
Breaking through silt and soil, piercing rocks, it penetrated ever deeper underground.
The nameless demon trapped within the "hydroelectric drill" head was thoroughly disoriented, shielded from being crushed by the surrounding seawater "drill bit."
Given that the demon couldn't be killed in a conventional manner, and each resurrection made it even stronger, a change of approach was warranted—temporarily confining them.
Yuri's plan was straightforward: to bury the demon several kilometers deep underground.
He had battled the demon for quite some time, gaining a clear understanding of its current strength.
At depths of over a thousand meters beneath the ocean floor's immense pressure, this demon wouldn't be able to lift a finger, and since demons didn't require air to breathe, even their attempts at self-destruction would be futile.
On the other side.
Robin was flung toward the coastline by Superboy, and his speed was impressive, covering almost forty to fifty meters per second.
The strong wind made Robin's face ache, and his cheeks even twitched from the sensation.
This was an inevitable occurrence, as his standard issue mask only covered his eyes.
After a short while, Robin neared the shoreline. He calmly activated the glider behind him.
Affected by the resistance, Robin's speed quickly diminished, gradually transitioning to a normal gliding state.
At this point, he adjusted the flight angle downward, inching closer to the shore and eventually landing safely.
Upon landing, Robin rolled a few times on the ground to dissipate the residual kinetic energy that Superboy had imparted on him.
Then, he stood there, seemingly indifferent, waiting.
In reality, there wasn't much activity around. Under normal circumstances, the coastline of San Francisco Bay would be bustling with tourists and locals. However, not long ago, the Alcatraz Island fire incident occurred, followed by the battle between the Teen Titans and the demons.
From this spot, one could even observe the aerial battle between Starfire, Superboy, and the two flying demons. The nearby civilians had evacuated long ago, and the presence of law enforcement was concentrated about 500 meters behind Robin.
Frankly, this situation was quite unfamiliar to Robin. In his hometown of Gotham, even though the police department comprised mostly ordinary individuals without abilities, under the direct command of Commissioner Gordon, each officer would fight on the frontline.
Instances where the police kept such a great distance and simply observed superheroes in action were indeed rare, unless facing extraordinary, overpowering threats.
In less than two minutes, Robin's expression became serious.
A certain silhouette gradually manifested on the surface of the sea, indicating that someone was about to come ashore.
Indeed, Deathstroke had chosen this place to land!

A/N: Man, writing naval battles is truly baffling. No wonder characters like Aquaman and other aquatic heroes have such infrequent appearances in the original story. I probably won't be depicting many naval scenes in the future, anyway. After all, all the relevant players are now making their appearances.
