"This... This can't be!"
Girder couldn't believe that he had been taken down so quickly by the Four-Armed monster, and he couldn't believe that the four holes in his body were still there.
"Why? Why isn't my body healing?"
Girder looked back and saw Magenta lying motionless several meters behind him.
It turned out that the air wave unleashed by Yuri was actually aimed at Magenta. She had already taken a punch from Four Arms earlier, and now she was hit by an air wave.
Without the physical enhancement ability, Magenta couldn't bear the burden and fell into a coma.
"Girder, now we can continue our previous discussion. I heard you want me to pay a price?"
Yuri cracked his knuckles, making a "crack" sound.
"Ah!!!"
Girder suddenly let out a miserable scream because Yuri once again tore off his arms.
If Girder's initial body was entirely made of rusty steel, it was now a combination of rusty and new iron, mixed with red and black.
After tearing off Girder's arms, his legs were also not spared as Yuri dismantled them as well.
But this time, Yuri didn't just turn Girder into a human stump and be done with it.
"Shit! What the hell are you trying to do... No! Don't do this! Please!"
Girder's words were cut short by Yuri's actions, which frightened him.
Yuri inserted Girder's severed legs and arms into the four holes in his body, then slightly exerted force, squeezing and kneading them like molding clay, transforming them into a smooth sphere.
"Mmm! Mmm! Mmm! Mmm!"
Girder's head was engulfed in the center of the sphere, with the tip of his right foot's thumb blocking his mouth.
Well, it was essentially a giant screw.
Then Yuri returned Girder to his cell, firmly embedding him in the wall.
As Yuri emerged from Girder's cell, Flash Kid happened to have Iron Heights securely fixed, with possibly even stronger earthquake resistance than before.
Wally also took the opportunity to repair the prison's power supply system, restoring the normal functioning of the power-dampening collars.
"Well done, Four-Armed buddy."
Wally first gave Yuri a thumbs-up, then with a complex expression on his face, he picked up Magenta and placed her back in his own cell, securing the collar around her neck.
"Now let's get down to business. You're here to investigate the virus leak incident too, right? I'm thinking maybe we can cooperate," Wally suggested to Yuri.
Yuri's eyes darted around, and he replied with a serious expression, "I accept your proposal, Flash. But how do you plan to investigate? And what's the plan for eliminating the virus once we're done?"
Wally was taken aback by the question and then responded naturally, "I know a scientist from the Star Labs. We can give him some virus samples for research."
"You're being too naive." Yuri sneered.
"In Iron Heights, almost all the guards have been infected. Some with weaker bodies have already lost their lives, and it has been less than half an hour since the virus outbreak began. It's more deadly than the Ebola virus."
Indeed, it had been over half an hour since Yuri discovered the guards being infected one by one, and his transformation time should have already expired. However, Yuri still maintained the form of the Four-Arms.
Has Yuri's human genes transformed into the Tetramand? Of course not. The protection mechanism of the Omnitrix is not rigidly fixed to a ten-minute transformation. The core of the mechanism is not about controlling time but protecting the holder.
If reverting to the normal form would put the holder's life in danger, the omnitrix would automatically extend the transformation time.
And now, Yuri was in a dangerous place filled with a mysterious virus, and this virus was obviously extremely deadly to Earthlings. If Yuri's human body was exposed to such an environment, it would likely get infected in the next second.
So the omnitrix didn't let Yuri revert to his normal form.
Meanwhile, Yuri continued to persuade Wally.
"The Star Labs division specializing in genetics and disease control is located in Los Angeles, which is quite far from here. Yes, you can run back and forth in a matter of seconds, but how long does it take to study a virus? Having virus samples alone without antibodies and lacking pathogens, even with the technology of Star Labs, it would take at least a week to develop an effective vaccine."
"Do you think there will be many survivors left in Iron Heights by that time?"
As soon as the words fell, Wally stood still as if struck by lightning (A/N: Hehe). He hadn't really thought about these things. While Barry was both the Flash and an outstanding scientist, Wally wasn't.
This is not to say that Wally isn't intelligent. Speedsters' intellectual capabilities are generally high, as their super speed not only grants them incredible physical speed but also equal brain processing speed.
However, Wally wasn't particularly interested in scientific research.
"Do you have any good ideas?" Wally asked.
Wally had a great quality: he didn't have the typical "this is my city" attitude that some superheroes had, always believing they had to personally save everything and never ask for help. When it was necessary to seek assistance, Wally never hesitated.
"The solution is simple: let me create the vaccine!" Yuri said, shocking Wally.
"Now, only I can produce a vaccine that can take effect rapidly in the shortest possible time."
Wally looked up and down at the bulky and muscular figure of the Four-Arms, wearing a skeptical expression on his face.
"Bro... you don't really look like a scientist."
"Are you sure? How about now?" Yuri extended one hand to the omnitrix on his shoulder, gently turned it, and a burst of green light instantly erupted.
The intense light made it difficult for Wally to open his eyes, but luckily, the light disappeared in an instant.
A small frog-like creature with an upright human posture appeared before Wally, forming a stark contrast to the towering and muscular Four-Arms.
"What the heck, who are you? Where did that four-armed guy go?"
Wally was jaw-dropped, unable to believe that the little guy in front of him was indeed the Four-Arms.
"It's just a simple shape-shifting technique in the universe. Nothing to be amazed about." Yuri casually explained, trying to convince Wally.
"With the knowledge I possess, developing a vaccine to counter the virus is a piece of cake."
"From the situation in the prison, all the guards have been infected, while only a small fraction of the inmates are infected. This indicates that metahumans have some kind of natural antibodies against this particular virus. I need to find out what these antibodies are and who possesses them."
Yuri stared intently into Wally's eyes, stating his requirements.
"In other words, I need the DNA of all the metahumans in Iron Heights. And this task can only be entrusted to you because only you can gather everyone's DNA in the shortest amount of time."
"Kid Flash, the lives of thousands of guards and inmates in Iron Heights Penitentiary, plus the millions of citizens in Central City, all rely on you." He said as he intently looked at Wally with a glint in his eyes.
