Chapter 1Chapter 1: Respawn

Respawn

"Loneliness can feel like the deepest darkness, but even in the shadows, we can discover the strength to rise again and seek the light of connection." — Anonymous

※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※

"Ever feel like the world's moving forward, but you're stuck? Like some glitched NPC no one bothers to fix?"

Belial let out a slow breath, watching the vapor curl and dissolve into the frigid night air.

The alley stretched before him, dark and uninviting, its cracked pavement littered with discarded wrappers, shattered glass, and the remnants of dreams long abandoned.

He shifted against the freezing concrete, curling deeper into his tattered hoodie

—a thin barrier against the cold.

A sickly yellow glow flickered above him, the dying streetlamp casting feeble light that barely dented the alley's shadows.

The stench of rot and piss clung to everything, seeping into his clothes, his skin

—his existence.

Just another ghost in the underbelly of Shibuya.

Another forgotten piece of trash swept into the city's corners.

His stomach twisted in protest, hunger clawing at his insides.

He ignored it. Hunger was an old companion.

Annoying, but familiar.

He glanced at the half-eaten energy bar in his palm, its wrapper torn and crumpled.

Should he save it?

Stretch it out?

No.

He shoved the rest into his mouth, chewing slowly, letting the faint sweetness trick his body into thinking it was enough.

It never was.

Leaning his head back against the cold brick wall, he stared past the alley's mouth at the towering skyline beyond.

Neon signs blinked in the distance, painting the night in fleeting shades of blue and red.

Somewhere out there, people were laughing, eating, living.

He used to be one of them.

Not anymore.

Two years ago.

Fourteen years old.

A roof over his head.

A family.

Then gone. Just like that.

His parents' voices still echoed in his skull, sharp and suffocating.

"You're wasting your life."

"Gaming will never make you successful."

"Why can't you be like your cousin? He's already studying medicine."

Disappointment. Disgust.

Their expectations crushed him until he stopped trying.

Until his father finally threw him out like last week's garbage.

He could still see the last night at home so vividly.

His father's face twisted in anger, veins popping against his temple.

The stink of beer clung to his clothes as he shoved Belial against the wall.

His mother just watched, silent, eyes filled with something colder than hatred

—indifference.

"You don't live here anymore. Get out."

It had been raining that night.

The streets swallowed him whole, the cold biting through his clothes, his sneakers soaked through in minutes.

He still had his phone back then.

Still had a connection.

The first night, he called a friend. No answer.

The second night, he called another. Voicemail.

By the third, he stopped trying.

That was the cruelest part—realizing how easy it was for people to forget you existed.

Now, he was here.

Now, he was nothing.

But in the digital world…

In there, he was <ShadowNightShade. >

A legend. A strategist. A player feared and respected. His hands knew the keyboard like a second heartbeat—every keystroke precise, every move calculated. When he played, the world blurred into numbers, patterns, victory.

In there, he mattered.

Out here?

He exhaled through his nose.

'Out here, I'm just another failure.'

His fingers curled, rubbing together for warmth.

His phone sat heavy in his pocket, its screen cracked, its battery long dead.

Still, sometimes he pulled it out, staring at the dark display, pretending he could log in again.

Pretending he could escape.

A metallic clang echoed through the alley as something

—or someone—knocked over a trash can nearby.

Belial tensed, fingers curling into instinctive fists.

A shadow moved across the dim light, rummaging through scraps.

Another ghost in this forgotten part of the city.

He looked away.

He didn't need trouble. He just needed to last another night.

And then another. And another.

Survive. That's all he had to do.

The wind picked up, rattling dumpster lids, carrying the distant hum of traffic. The city never stopped moving, never stopped devouring people like him and spitting them out into the cracks.

"Another day, another dead end," he muttered, voice rasping.

"What's the point, anyway?"

But even as the words left his lips, a stubborn ember inside him refused to go out.

He dreamt of a world where he could break free, where he could soar through virtual landscapes

—his skills honed, his spirit unburdened.

He had never belonged in their world. Their expectations were a suffocating weight, dragging him down.

"I'm a failure," he whispered. "I'm nothing."

Slumping against the dumpster, he closed his eyes, trying to block out the harshness of reality. Instead, he pictured himself at his setup, fingers flying across the keyboard, the roar of a virtual crowd filling his ears as he landed the game-winning shot.

A world where he was someone.

Where his passion wasn't a childish distraction

—but a talent worth celebrating.

He remembered his first tournament win.

The rush of adrenaline, the way his hands moved without thinking, executing strategies that no one saw coming.

He had played against professionals

—adults who had been doing this for years.

And he won.

Not because he was lucky.

But because he was better.

Because for once in his life, he wasn't a disappointment.

But gaming wasn't "real," right? That's what everyone said.

"It's just a hobby."

"It's a waste of time."

"It's not a career."

They never saw what he saw.

They never felt the thrill of outplaying someone three steps ahead, the rush of executing a perfect strategy, the satisfaction of knowing you were the smartest person in the room.

They never understood that the digital world had rules too

—rules you could master.

It wasn't just a game.

It was his world.

And if there was one thing gaming had taught him, it was this—

You don't quit just because you're losing.

You find a way to respawn.

Mc is killed but he’s saved by the Villain System. He has to go to different movie worlds and complete tasks to earn villain points. There’s more to the system and the story than just going to movie worlds. The story is somewhat simple, sometimes doesn’t make sense but it’s funny and entertaining. I think it’s definitely worth the read. Just don’t expect a serious literary masterpiece or something. Obviously. Movies: Captain America. Transformers. RE. Marvel. HP. Fast and Furious. Underworld. The Monkey King. Avengers 2. A chinese odyssey. Spiderman. X-men. And more. Harem: Main girls from these movies. No girls left behind. There are some originals too. Bleach: The Invincible Slacker from Rukongai Reborn in the world of Bleach, Uehara Shiroha wakes up to find himself in the chaotic streets of Rukongai. But unlike the countless souls struggling to survive, he has one overwhelming advantage—an absurdly overpowered Mission Task System! One simple task later, he earns an S-rank Stand—White Album, granting him control over absolute zero! I Stream DC on Marvel

My name is Allen Walker. I lived a quiet and uneventful life until I got into trouble with the school's ultimate bully, Flash Thomson. It was worth it because I was able to protect my friend Gwen and help out a poor guy named Peter Parker. That's right... my life was turned upside down with my school problems. I somehow ended up tangled with bullies like Flash and his rich friend Harry Osborn, and the three beauties of the school, Gwen Stacy, Felicia Hardy, and Mary Jane. I understood why Gwen was there, as she's my friend, but I couldn't understand why the other two girls were interested in me. My destiny should have been getting beaten up by the school bullies, but luckily, I received unexpected help from a miraculous entity called the "The Absolute Content Creator System". This system mainly operates based on viewers and the popularity I gain by providing great content in my world. But somehow, I'm now live-streaming in the middle of the Superman vs. Doomsday fight... yes, it sounds very dangerous and stupid. No one told me I'd be going to the DC world to livestream?! Darkseid is going to kill me!! My aunt Natasha would scream at me for the stupidity I was committing, and she would be right, I mean, I'm streaming it to my world! But I have to be here, even if it's stupid and dangerous. The reason? I have a huge debt of one million dollars because I accidentally ordered a hundred fantasy waifu sex dolls... which have come to life for some reason. Yeah, things are getting complicated!! It sounds insane, but it's real. The first doll was Wednesday Addams, who tried to stab me, and the second was 2B from Nier: Automata, who treated me like her master... I won't complain about that. A bit confusing? Let's recap: - I live in a world that the system calls Marvel... I'm not sure if I should be worried. - I was a normal teenager making YouTube videos and streams, not very popular... – I got involved with the school beauties and that earned me the hatred of the bullies... ¿why? - I was chosen by a system related to content creation. - During a stream, my chat played a prank on me, and I ended up accidentally ordering a hundred very expensive sex dolls that left me in a one-million-dollar debt. - These dolls are coming to life for some reason. - To pay off that debt, I have to use the system that sends me to DC and broadcast craziness like Batman being captured by the Joker or some villain fighting the Justice League. It's not all bad. With a system like in the manga, I become stronger the more popular I get. I gain powers that only appear in comics and anime, and many other things. But, as I said, my world is not normal, and I'll end up getting involved in dangerous things. I knew that when a one-eyed man appeared at my door and said, "Do you know about the Avengers Initiative?"... I think I should definitely be worried about that. While things are bad with all that, my chat is full of trolls and assholes. To make matters worse, my congenital bad luck leads me into stupid and dangerous situations all the time. For example: entering Harley Quinn's room and having relations with her while the Joker is nearby or kicking Darkseid in the balls... Maybe I'll get killed soon, but if not, I'll continue live-streaming the best content on social media... I just hope the system doesn't stream to strange places. Pokemon Alternate Universe Adventures

A man from an Earth gets the choice to start over in any Universe and chooses an Alternate Pokemon Universe. Let us see if his journey to the top is succesful and the impact he will have on his new world. Pokemon is owned by Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures Inc. I just use their sandbox for the plot of my MC and my OCs. This will be a "slow" paced story, in fact it's "super slow paced", so please don't expect the MC to directly start his journey in 20 chapters or so, actually multiply that by like 15. A lot is going to happen before that happens. The first 10-20 chapters or so are information heavy, depending on what kind of reader you are. I try to keep my chapter length between 2000 and 3000 words per chapter. My release rate is 4 chapter/week for now. I have a patre*n for those that want to support me with access to some advance chapters as a thank you. patre*n.com/Azrail93 This is an alternate pokemon universe so there will be differences to the games, manga and anime. So if something in the story is different it is most likely on purpose. The original sources are seen as suggestions not laws. Differences can be: Type variants, evolution conditions, strength mechanics, world building and more. If I am at some point asking for reader input I will do so but otherwise I will ignore most suggestions. So please don't spam things like catch this pokemon or do that next. I have my plot planned and external input will be considered when asked for. If I see a suggestion that I believe fit my plot flow I will use it and will credit the commentor. Comments on spelling and grammar mistakes are welcome. I will try to correct said mistakes with time. Constructive criticism will be read and considered. Insult and hate comments will be ignored or deleted depending on severity. Readers naturally can comment their dislike but one worders will be ignored. If the reason for the dislike is explained I will read it. Like previously mentioned pure insults and hate comments will be ignored or deleted. The same is true for simple hate reviews or insulting ones. Reviews complaining about something I warned about, such as the slow pace, will be deleted as well.

Endless Path : Infinite Cosmos

Vahn was an atypical youth. Due to a rare mutation, his blood had the potential to target and attack ailments within the human body. Touted as a universal cure, people had elevated his status above the norm and given him the classification "Panacea". In the media, he was hailed as a great hero who would usher in a new era or human wellness. However, behind the scenes things weren't so bright. Being a unique individual, Vahn spent his entire youth locked up in a lab with various scientists and research teams using his body and blood to perform endless amounts of experiments. The only solace in his suffering was the various anime and manga made available to him between experiments. He often imagined himself as the protagonist in a world of his own, finally in control of his own destiny. For years he nurtured this desire, until at the age of 14 he died when an organization had tried to kidnap him from the lab... "Finally, I don't have to suffer anymore..." This was Vahn's last thought as he faded into the endless black abyss... "You poor soul."
