Chapter 176 - Shinjuku Raid 3

"Ok, then I'll get ready." 

Zhigang said as he opened the suitcase he brought with him and put on his armor, and took his swords.

"He still carries them around like always," 

Thomas said as he shook his head.

"He carries around his equipment?"

He asked curiously.

"Well, this guy is a battle maniac after all," 

Thomas said as he smiled and went to the mining team with his woman where his instinct was screaming at him and quickly asked about Goto but he realized that his [ Intuition ] was disrupted. 

"What happened to Ryuu did any problems pop up?" 

Thomas asked him.

"Yeah, one of the hunte-" 

Before he could answer, it was interrupted by a mana storm. And a large amount of mana was sucked into the gate. The mana was moving in such a ginormous amount that it affected the surroundings and the Hunters all felt like they were standing in a hurricane as they would fly off at any time.

He hugged Tawata who was standing next to him shielding her from the strong mana waves that were coming. The waves damaged all the hunters present as they cut on various parts of their bodies and the Tawata made a huge wall of wood to protect others but it was destroyed by the strong waves then it went on for a minute and stopped.

He looked at the gate seriously. As he let Tawata out of his embrace. Not noticing her reaction as he thought.

"Did that idiot…"

"Oi, are you kidding me right now?"

Thomas said as he looked at the monster that came out of the Gate but the grin never left his face but became wider as he tore off his Hawaiian shirt revealing his massive body that was covered with tattoos as he assumed a combat stance.

"This isn't a joke at all," 

Zhigang said with a battle-hungry smile as he put his hand on the hilt of his sword. He assumed a combat stance as he lowered his body. The Japanese hunters were stunned as they were trembling. How can they not. This was also true for the cameramen and the watchers that were watching at home felt the same.

The beast in front of them wasn't something that has been seen before. The giant that came out of the gate had a height of 300 meters. The mana that was released from his body was forming a barrier around him. The mana was so dense that you could even be seen by a normal person.

(LET ME SHOW YOU MY POWER, YOU DAMN RULERS. I'LL SHOW YOU, HUMANS, THE POWER OF THE KING OF GIANTS, THE MONARCH OF THE BEGINNING, LEGIA.) 

The beast roared as he looked at the sky as he released his killing intent.

"R-Ryuu,"

Tawata said as she looked at the beast she felt all her strength leave her body but she was still forcing herself to stand.

"Tawata retreated with the rest of the hunters. And tell everyone to run."

Ryuu said to Tawata and she nodded she was hard-headed but not stupid. She didn't want to burden Ryuu while staying there. She knew they wouldn't be able to do anything as she could barely stand. And others weren't in any better shape. Then she felt Ryuu's aura shoot up and suppress the giant-killing intent as he said.

"RETREAT," 

And every person present ran without thinking as soon as they heard his voice it was like their bodies moved on their own.

"Guess I guess it's about time isn't it?"

Every girl that he had went closer excluding Lucifer. Cha Hae-in grew significantly enough that she was able to give her assistance in fighting the monarch. 

"Spiritual Body Manifestation!"

Ryuu said releasing his pull power turned himself into his soul form that was similar to the style of Thomas Reinforcement. Rias created armor around her body that was made from her magic and the same goes for the other with Trese having her black armor with red accents while Nezuko was like a flaming kimono. 

Everyone took it seriously knowing Legia is one for the strongest monarch next to Antares and Shadow monarch. Kie made sure to protect everyone while Kanae was currently performing a powerful spell. 

"Hahaha you are getting more interesting!"

Thomas remarked watching Ryuu manifest his armor while looking at the monster. 

"Well Well your epithet suits you, you can do that. Now then let's deal with this bastard." 

Thomas said as he laughed and then looked at Legia.

( Humans you are weak you don't stand a chance against me.)

Legia said as he punched Thomas, standing in front of him with mana gathering on his fist. The mana formed a barrier around Thomas and bright lines started forming on his body he was about to dodge, But...

"We can't let his attack hit the ground or Tokyo and the area will be finished." 

He heard Ryuu's shout and he quickly crossed his arms and took the attack head-on.

'The world isn't reinforced enough to take an attack like that and especially in Japan which has frequent earthquakes this is going to cause enormous damage.' 

Ryuu thought a loud sound was heard echoing all over Tokyo and Thomas was sent flying in the air but he flipped and landed back on the ground.

"Yup definitely can't let this type of attack land on the ground. In 5 hits he can decimate Tokyo and the area around it. 'Reinforcement'," 

Thomas said as he shook his hands with a grin and armor started to appear covering him from head to toe in golden armor with black horns and giving his hair a glowing flame-like quality. He rushed towards Legia again and jumped, reaching his midriff as he pulled Legia towards himself with 'Capture'.

Mana gathered on his right hand as he punched Legia in his stomach which caused it to stumble a bit and as Thomas was still in the air; Legia swept his hand wanting to hit Thomas. But Zhigang was waiting for this and unleashed a large slash with his swords on the right hand of Legia.

The slash landed as it cut through the mana barrier then the flesh of Legia but stopped at the bone. But then a second slash landed on the same spot.

The whole arm came off as it dropped on the ground destroying some buildings. Zhigang looked back and saw Ryuu running towards Legia. He turned around and made his way towards Legia as well.

Thomas landed on the ground and soon all three were ready to attack but then their expression turned grim as they saw Legia regenerate his arm so quickly.

( HAHAHA HAHAHA. Fear me, Humans; you won't be able to kill me like this. )

Legia laughed loudly as his voice carried mana in it.

"He has the same skill as Kamish," 

Thomas said as he heard the mana in Legia's voice. Ryuu leapt into the air transforming his entire armor into a cannon charging it with a powerful energy that shot towards Legia who didn't feel anything and struck the attack causing a massive explosion that sent ripples through the whole Tokyo destroying the building close to the gate. 

Trese summoned her giant to attack but Legia grabbed one and toss it to the other be striking with an immense force and Shinobu flew into the sky trying to increase the poison to Legia but it was ineffective and stepped back while Misturi send her blade that grew larger slicing Legai arms but it kept regenerating.

( HAHAAHA ALL OF YOUR ACTIONS ARE FUTILE HUMANS!! )

Legia roared while striking Justine who tried to fight him head on but was flown kilometers away from them. The Giant Monarch then had his arms blown up that took time to regenerate causing him to turn at the person responsible.

( SOMEONE WITH POWER OF DESTRUCTION?  INTERESTING! YOU SHALL DIE FIRST THEN! )

He saw Rias and rushed towards him with incredible speed as the others sent waves of attack with Nezuko using her fiendfyre and Amaterasu to slow him down yet even in flames the tenacity of the Giant Monarch has no bound.

"Dammit, does this thing have any limits!? He is more troublesome than Kamish!"

Thomas shouted yet he couldn't deny the excitement it made him fight since it's been a while that he fought something that strong before.
