Chapter28

#Chapter28

Third Phase

I spent the whole day in the pack hospital. Athena has been urging me to go home at seven in the evening, but I stayed until nine. After our conversation this morning, I honestly have no idea how to face Atlas. It's not something he did or say.

It's not him, it's me. As cliche as it sounds.

Athena didn't say anything though. I think she kind of knew why I don't want to go home yet. Which was weird because I honestly don't know why I don't want to go home. I'm not scared of Atlas, hell, I could go and have a one-on-one fight with him. But going home seems to put my heart in shambles. I feel so uneasy, I'm afraid it's about to explode.

So I've decided not to go home. I went to Athena's office, without bothering to knock. She probably smelled me even before I came in. /"Hey, Athena,/" I tuck my head through the little space between the wall and the door, /"Can I sleep here tonight?/"
