Apples and Honey

But before I could speak, I heard Atlas growl, catching Kratos' attention. Now both of them were looking at me as if I was a grand prize. However, my wolf seems to be more attracted to my soul mate. That much is very understandable but not justifiable. I understand werewolves are faithful to their mates. But if that same mate hurts you to death, it doesn't give their faithfulness any justice at all.

/"Dione,/" I heard Kratos' husky voice call my name, and I almost melted right then and there. It's infuriating how he has that much effect on me, and the only thing he did was call my name.

Then, Atlas growled louder than he did earlier, /"Get back in, Dione!/" He snarled, looking at Kratos who had his eyes on me, /"I won't let him touch you./"

I frown made its way to my face. Why won't he let Kratos touch me? Aren't we on the same team? Don't we want our mates to be with us? Then why is he pushing Kratos away from me?
