Let Me Know

As soon as she got out of the hospital, Olive received a call from Bette.

Although according to Jessica's temper that nothing could be hidden, Olive never thought that she could act as if nothing had happened.

But she did not expect that Jessica had already reported the matter in less than half an hour.

Bette's voice came along the current, in a hesitant tone, "Peanut, I just heard Jess say that she saw you at the city hospital? Have you gone back here?"

Olive walked to the opposite bus stop and made a hum.

As soon as the sound fell, both of them quieted down.

Bette sighed and said nothing more, "How long have you been back?"

Olive, "Not long."

Bette, "Are you going to settle down in South Star in the future?"

Olive paused for a few seconds and said frankly, "I don't know."

"You can decide later. South Star is fine. Mom is not relieved that you are out there alone."
