Liar

On the way to the place to eat, Luna did not say a word, she was just silent and looked out the car window, making Varell feel worried, "Is there something bothering you?" Ask Varell.

"No... Nothing." Luna replied with a brief smile.

Smiling to cover her heartbreak, Luna doesn't understand why her heart still keeps feeling claustrophobic and even now she wants to cry and it's all because of Kevin.

'Does he hate me so much? He deliberately retaliated against me cruelly." Luna keeps wondering in her heart and continues to blame her stupidity for being trapped by Kevin's game. Although the space in jer heart is still so small for Kevin it feels very painful.

"Fucking Kevin." Murmur Luna slowly.

"Why?" Ask Varell who is like hearing Luna say something but she can't hear it.

"No, I'm just glad to see the drizzle."

"Me too."

Luna just smiled again, actually, she was lazy to speak at the moment but she couldn't just ignore Varell.

"The restaurant is almost there," Varell spoke again, he wanted to shorten the distance Luna made but Luna continued to respond to his words with a smile without asking questions or started a pleasant conversation because what Varell knew Luna was a cheerful woman, she always brought joy and warmth wherever she was, but it looks like Luna has changed a lot but Varell still likes Luna no matter what her attitude.

Varell invites Luna to dinner and buys her a plate of spaghetti. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very romantic, some couples are looking at their dishes with love and laughter but not where Luna and Varell sit face to face

The awkward atmosphere feels thick enveloping, but not because of misbehavior but because Luna who looks discouraged and likes thinking about other things makes her feel empty.

"You don't like spaghetti?" Varell puts down his fork and starts talking, the unfocused Luna can't hear what Varell has just said.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have taken you to this place." Said Varell sadly making Luna feel bad, Kevin disturbed her mind since then and messed up her higher mood, but It was Varell who got the impact.

"It's not like that, I'm just thinking about me... I'm thinking about an electricity bill I haven't paid yet." Luna answers the origin, she realizes it sounds very strange especially with her clumsy smile at the end of the sentence.

But Varell isn't angry, he knows that Luna is bragging right now but her expression looks adorable.

You're so adorable," varell said, laughing, making Luna laugh awkwardly, and cover it up by drinking a sip of water.

"Adorable?" Luna touches her face and stares at a confused Varell, strangely she doesn't feel blushing at all hearing the praise uttered by Varell.

"You never can lie," Varell said it makes Luna feel more guilty about Varell.

"There's a bit of a personal problem, I shouldn't have accepted your offer because I'm messing things up now. I'm sorry, Varell."

"Don't mind, I'll be happy to listen to everything that's bothering you right now, I'm not bothered at all. Being around you has made me happy."

Varell is always nice to her, Luna regrets that she should have fallen in love with a man like Varell instead of Kevin blatantly toying with her.

Oh, Kevin again...

Luna wants to throw Kevin away from her mind but everything she thinks will always bring her back to Kevin.

"Let's eat, the spaghetti will be cold later." Said Varell and once again Luna replied with a smile.

On the other hand, Kevin is frustrated, Monic is extraordinarily annoying, he surrounds almost all of the town just to find a place to eat, and more annoyingly he has to enter a fancy restaurant with a thick romantic feel that is ridiculous.

"I don't like pasta, you can eat alone." Said Kevin as he stood in the room and was about to turn around.

"Wait a minute, is that your secretary?" Said Monic brought Kevin's steps to a standstill, she realized when she saw Luna staring at Kevin sadly while in the office they must have a special relationship that was fun for Monic to destroy.

Kevin was stunned, his heart was stabbed by a sword when he heard Monic's words that said Luna was dating but he had to pretend he didn't care.

"I don't care," Kevin replies coldly, he doesn't want Monic to make it difficult for Luna if he looks to care about Luna.

Monic thinks for a moment, she doesn't manage to lure Kevin until she realizes that Luna isn't alone here which makes Monic play her game again.

"Don't be so baby, she's your secretary and I think she's dating a guy. We have to bother her."

"Don't take care of their business. She's not my secretary when it's out of business hours like this," said Kevin who has now turned his back on making Monika smile happily.

"You're not avoiding it out of jealousy are you?" This Monic whispers in Kevin's ear, she's a real demon woman.

Kevin's heart is burning poignantly at the moment especially when he sees Luna smiling off at the end there with a man he can't see his face.

Kevin sighs, he then walks to the table where Luna and Varell are accompanied by Monic who steps along.

"Can we join?" Asking Kevin when he has been sitting in front of Luna makes Luna do not believe what she sees as well as Varell who looks uncomfortable because of Kevin's behavior.

"Hi secretary, because the chair is full so it doesn't matter if we join," said Monic after sitting next to Luna.

Luna smiles thinly then she looks around there are still some empty tables why choose on her table whether they deliberately want to show off the romance?

"There are still a lot of empty tables here," said Luna with a smile, she does not want to be annoyed by Kevin of course Kevin will laugh at her if she shows her anger at this time.

"The empty tables there have been booked by other guests," Monic answered.

Luna simply answers Monic with the sayings "Oh." which makes Monic annoyed and feels luna is very cavalier.

Kevin and Monic's order arrived, Kevin didn't order spaghetti but rather a piece of steak. "For what comes Italian restaurant if you don't eat Spaghetti." Luna's murmur sounds faint but Kevin can hear it.

Kevin then cuts half his steak and puts it on Luna's plate, Luna catches a slow breath and gives half of her spaghetti on Kevin's plate.

They are used to doing this until they forget that they are not just two at the moment.

"You guys are so close, makes me jealous," Monic said while eating his steak making Luna realize what she and Kevin had just done.

"Sorry please don't get me wrong, we've been working together long enough and sometimes something that has become a habit happens without us noticing. I will be more careful that this incident does not happen again." Said Luna.

"No problem, don't try too hard because Kevin says you're nothing if it's not during business hours, you're not that important to him." Said Monic relaxed, but her eyes glanced at Kevin meaningfully as if to say, "you were caught!"

Hearing Monic's words, Luna curses in her heart, this jerk in front of her is very annoying "Amazing... I'm nothing, right?" Luna's cynical gaze makes Kevin duck, "I wish I didn't even know you if we didn't work." Luna then kicks Kevin's leg firmly under the table, strong enough to make Kevin choke.

"Eat slowly, Kevin," Varell said, patting Kevin on the shoulder.

"You know Kevin?" Monic asked Varell with a smile, "The three of us went to the same junior high school."

"Oh, my God, really?"

"yes, we went to school first. Luna used to be the secretary of the student council and I was the student council president," Varell replied proudly, he wanted to show Kevin if he and Luna were very close.

"Yes, you're a good student council president as your secretary used to be a lot of fun, you treated me well not like a boss I know."

What Luna's said makes Varell smile because he feels flattered, but not with Kevin who whines he deliberately offends and makes Kevin choke again.

"Oh my God Kevin you're such a lot of evil that you always choke. I think the person you're playing with is talking about you," Said Luna mocking Kevin, Kevin can only smile angrily.

"I think so. Please tell hee I'm sorry tomorrow." Reply to Kevin with his exasperated smile.

"I'm sorry Kevin, but I don't do any work when it comes to personal matters. I'm very professional unlike you."

"Ah, but I don't think I'm entirely wrong, someone just promised me this afternoon and she has denied it." Kevin continues to insinuate Luna makes Luna waft her hair a receipt.

"The promise of a liar for what is kept?"

Hey, I never lied about how I felt." Kevin's yelling doesn't take it, they fight like they're in his world.

"The feeling?" Varell asks confused to make Kevin and Luna suddenly shut up because they realize if they almost dismantle their complicated relationship in front of Varell and Monic

Finally, the dinner is over, Varell takes Luna home to the front of her apartment.

"You live here by yourself?" Ask Varell while looking at Luna's modest apartment.

"No, I live with Mia." Answer Luna.

"It's was late, I'm sorry I can't ask you to stop by, and thank you very much for the dinner." Said Luna smiled at Varell, Luna then opened her seat belt and got out of Varell's car.

"Bye... be careful on the road," Said Luna shortly before Varell finally left.

Luna's face looks moody again especially thinking about the moment she accidentally heard if Monic wanted to spend the night at Kevin's house.

Luna then walks towards her room with lethargy as she opens the door of her apartment, but someone pulls her hand and suddenly kisses her

Luna wriggles and tries to fight back but she is helpless, the man cornering her into the wall while holding her hands and deepening their kiss
