Don't trust the schedule fully). If you like it support the book but if not recommend the book to someone else who would like it (as much as I wanted to say leave the book if you don't like it, I can't because I need support). An Upgrade?

He slowly made his way out of the bed, overcoming the pushes of the personnel. He forcefully dragged both his hands and pulled out pipes that were connected to his body.

He walked out, being observed by the medical. They watched as Akira walked out, the door slowly shutting on them as though a door to an elevator.

"You know what, let him be," their muffled voices penetrated the thin metallic walls of the room, and made its way to his ears.

He stopped walking, looked back at the door, and stared blankly at it. His body seemed to be vibrating, but he could not feel any pain. He shook himself once more, but felt not even the slightest sting.

"I guess the vibration's an effect of those drugs that forced into my body," he thought, moving further away from the room.

Akira was never a fan of drugs, especially those administered directly into his veins. He felt they had the potential to end his life, as he had put little effort in medical study.

He felt that the necessity of drugs were low, and to be honest, he regretted their very existence.

His mind kept revolving around the substances injected into his body as he wondered in the facility. It was after a while, that he recognized that he still remained in the combat facility.

"I thought I was in a hospital."

He rushed back to the room, and picked up a staff. He stared hardly at it, waving it in a similar method that the man did. He studied its movement continuously, aiming to dodge its attacks with ease.

He threw the rod around numerous times, before resting. He placed his hands upon his head, soothing it. Although he felt no pain, he still experienced the fear of his previous dilemma.

His eyes still rolled occasionally. He wanted to assess his condition, escaping the countless characters that usually pop up.

"I wish I could only check my medical condition, even if it shows. I know I haven't seen a description of that sort. But, I don't feel like viewing all those figures,"

"Only if it's possible to check one aspect at a time."

He wished for that ease. The ease to view one aspect, rather than going through all in search of a particular aspect.

He spread his palms with the aspect in mind, and to his surprise, a shocking revelation was shown to him.

[Effect: Aftermath: You are facing consequences of overusing a particular skill]

[Skill name - ['string (sensory attack)']! Current effect: Uneasiness. This will fade in approximately 30 minutes. Be patient!]

"Wait, what about my HP!" he said, shocked. He thought he had witnessed a glitch in the system, and felt it necessary to test it.

He spread his palms, and was met with a similar result,

[HP: 86. Your HP has been decreased due to some complexities observed. Visit a doctor, but check your condition first!]

This message shocked him once more. In his eyes, awe overflowed. He was overjoyed, yet surprised. He hadn't known this form of application, neither had he seen the descriptions attached to them.

[Congratulations! Your skill ['stats'] has been honed to tier 2!]

[Description: The term 'hone' implies the process of increasing a skills tier. It is used rather than 'leveling' or 'leveled up'. 'Tier' is the skill terminology, whereas 'Level' is used as an individual terminology.

[Modifications: Additional Information,

Improved Accuracy,

Introduction to Aspect Viewing!

Hope you enjoy your newly upgraded skil!]

Akira stood up, searching the entire room for people. He couldn't see anyone, and was moved to question the system on the 'void orb'.

"Items, Equipped, or Inventory. Whatever you call it," he thought.

He once again, exposed his palm and spread his fingers apart.

[Acquired Items: Void Orb (Unequipped). Equipping of this item is currently unavailable!]

"What's this?! Why can't I view any description on it."

He hissed, vexed and perplexed at the system's unusual response to his command. He circled around the room a while before exiting it. He walked straight towards the medical room he had just escaped from.

He wanted to meet the man, seeking to get even the smallest amount of information from him. He walked speedily along the hall towards the room.

His eyes still circled, but his uneasiness began fading. He was urged to view the remaining time, and he did just that.

Effect: Aftermath: You are facing consequences of overusing a particular skill]

[Skill name - ['string (sensory attack)']! Current effect: Uneasiness. This will fade in approximately 24 minutes. Be patient!]

"Well, there're still some useless extra information, but 6 minutes have elapsed. 24 to go!"

He walked with great passion to learn, to know the secrets of his powers. He felt a strong connection with the man which needed to be satisfied, and so, he ran even faster ignoring the strain on his body.

He finally arrived at the room where the man supposedly was with a staggering gait. The door shifted sideways, opening. Immediately, his eyes connected with the personnel in the room. His eyes hovered above their heads, searching for the man.

"Dang! He's not here, where could he have gone?" he asked himself, circling and hissing.

With his unsteady gait, he exited the room. Behind him, where the muffled voices of the personnel urging him to return to the medical bed.

As usual, he payed no attention to their words, and focused on his journey to find his master.

He ran to the entrance, to find a man in the same figure standing before the door. Light shone upon his pail skin, hindering a clear view of his body.

Upon seeing a similar stature, Akira ran once again. The brightness of the city, coupled with the reflective white hues that bathed it, made the man's appearance unclear.

"Is that him?"

"Did he actually wait for me, or is that a totally different guy, and the man abandoned me after almost killing me?"

He questioned himself continuously, murmuring and panting as he ran. He completely ignored his condition, although he knew the consequences. He kept wishing that his poor decisions wouldn't deter his health.

While running, he found it urgent to assess his condition. Once again, the usual gesture was performed, spreading his fingers and exposing his palms.

[Skill name - ['string (sensory attack)']! Current effect: Uneasiness. This will fade in approximately 22 minutes. Be patient!]
