It was a cold and gloomy night, my blanket was the only thing that was accompanying me along with my phone. Rain cried onto my bedroom windowpane as I sang 'The truth untold' calmly to myself. Thunder made its appearance on Earth. I was never really the one to be a fan of thunder but lately it was all I wanted to hear.

Ding dong..

The front door rang interrupting me. Taking my phone from my nightstand, I checked the time, it was almost 1am. Who in the right mind would turn up to someone's house at 00:48am? Who even was it?

As I walked downstairs, I looked into the kitchen, it didn't seem as if anyone was inside, had everyone gone to bed?

I turned to face the door that was continuously ringing. Walking towards it, fear ran throughout my body, reaching for the handle, I immediately stopped..

Something didn't feel right..

At all..
