At an abandoned bank, Nevan still in his Noblesse form walks toward the vault. Catching the scent of a few different Alphas here, but strangely only three betas, each leading right to this vault.
Feeling the metal, he thinks about how he wants to do this before using his aura-covered hand to rip the heavy metal vault door right open. Shifting back to his regular form before entering.
"It's now or never! While we still have a bit of strength! Attack!" Cora yelled as two more charged at the unknown individuals emerging form. Far too weak and weary to think straight, they gave it their all, not even considering the fact that whoever this was had just torn open a giant metal door.
Nevan catches Cora and Boyd by the throat while kicking Erica away.
Boyd is a very tall 6'3" very muscular and toned young man, he has dark brown skin and eyes, and black hair that he kept cut very short. Dressed in a more edgy and trendy style, with designer t-shirts under leather jackets, vests, and hooded sweatshirts paired with black combat boots.
Erica is a gorgeous, tall, lean, and shapely young woman with pale white skin, light blonde hair, and large brown eyes. Prefer to wear trendier, more form-fitting clothing, such as skinny jeans, combat boots, sexy corset tops in bright colors, and a black leather jacket to flaunt her body to everyone. She also wore lots of black eyeliner and bright red lipstick for a bold and sexy look.
"Hey there Cora, I see your having fun with your friends, perhaps I should just leave you to it and be on my way?" Nevan teases.
"Nevan?" Cora wheezes, then calls out,- "Erica, no wait."
Erica who wasn't going to let herself stay captive got back up and charged again only to have Boyd thrown in her face, knocking her down for good this time as they both hit the wall, unable to get up a third time.
Letting Cora go, he grunted when she jumped over excitedly and hugged him,- "Nevan, I can't believe you're here."
Boyd carefully pulled himself off of Erica as he sat down beside her rubbing his aching head,- "You know him?"
A smiling Cora spun around,- "Yes, we're saved, now we can leave."
"What about all those alpha's?" asked, a groaning Erica who was barely conscious at this point.
Cora happier than she's been in months couldn't help but giggle,- "Who cares, Nevan's here, he'll take care of everything, won't you?"
Nevan rubbed her head much to her dismay as he shook his head,- "I think you've gone delirious from being trapped in here, come on let's get you guys out of here," he said walking over to pick up Boyd and throw him over one shoulder and Erica who yelped over the other.
They walked a good distance away before he dropped them against some trees as Cora followed behind quietly too tired to even converse despite the many questions she had rattling around in her head.
"You guys can rest here, I'll go grab some food and water for you."
Boyd and Erica were out as soon as they touched down.
"Wait! You're leaving us?" Cora cried.
"Uh? I'll be back, just wait here, it'll only take a few seconds at most," said Nevan not exactly feeling uncomfortable with how clingy she was being. He couldn't comprehend how abandoned or vulnerable she was at the moment. A downfall of human emotions he's always struggled with, leading to what many consider the disbandment of his original pack after they began to evolve further.
Her doe eyes had the opposite effect on him as he quickly zoomed away.
Mere moments later he was back with food and drink, only to find her passed out along with the other three as he set it aside for later.
"Might as well call Rebekah and let her know what's going on... what a bother, guess I'll miss that warm bath," he sighs regretfully, calling Aurelia right after to let her know that he's found her and she's fine.
When next they woke, he passed around what was brought, watching them hungrily devour everything.
Seeing them fed, watered, and back on their feet, Nevan stands up ready to leave, job done,- "You know, Aurelia's been worried about you, she asked me to help find you, don't forget to call her when you can, don't stick around here too long, you never know when they'll come back."
Cora quickly got in his way, stopping him,- "You can't just leave, come on, I know how strong you are, we need your help, it's an Alpha pack, we don't stand a chance."
Somewhat intrigued, Nevan asks,- "Tell me what happened."
A smile broke out on her face thinking she's already won and begins to explain how a pack of Alpha's abducted her on the way to find her brother who she got word was the new Alpha back in her hometown. Explaining how Boyd and Erica were captured next in order to lure her brother into their pack as some sort of trap or blackmail, something about needing him to kill them, how it will make him stronger or something.
Listening closely, Nevan strokes his chin, mulling it over, mumbling- "Interesting..." Finding it a bit amusing someone was trying to imitate him in a way, though even he never led a true Alpha group, in the sense that his pack still couldn't compare to himself who was still a level above and in no way equal to him.
His mood souring at the implications, eyes glowing, he began to exert pressure unknowingly. Dropping it once whimpers were heard from the fallen kids who couldn't handle it.
"Sorry about that, I got a bit annoyed at how stupid the alphas are, thinking again how pathetic this generation of werewolves is. An entire group of cowardly Alphas led by a wanna-be who's scared of having betas. Masking his fear through lies of empowerment. No, killing betas will not make an Alpha stronger, otherwise, why wouldn't he just create and kill more, what a sad stupid ass joke. It's common knowledge that in fact creating beta's makes you stronger," ranted Nevan, getting sick and tired of all the wolves of this generation.
"Then can't you help us? Teach us to be better?" asked Cora, not willing to let such a good opportunity go without a fight.
"I like your spunk kid, and nothing against you personally, but it's abundantly clear why there have been no true Alphas for such a long time. You've all grown lazy, always looking for the easy way out. I didn't get to where I am by asking others for help. Sure I had my betas by my side through thick and thin when it mattered most, but I didn't ask, I led. I fought and tore my way to the top through mountains of bodies and oceans of blood. If you want something take something," Nevan said with eyes glowing orange, meeting each of their eyes, and then zooming away.
Nevan did briefly debate whether or not to turn them for fun and see Alpha vs Alpha. His Alpha creations vs this other, but he ultimately decided not to because they were still very young and didn't think they deserved it yet. It would have been too easy. It was also different when it came to Hayley and them because they were fighting against different things and not other werewolves.
Startled and taken aback by the whole situation Erica and Boyd sit there just looking at where they last saw him along with Cora. Each of their hearts raced as his words resonated and flowed through them, unknowingly clenching their fists.
"You got to tell me who that was," says Erica with a small blush.
"And what's with the orange glow? I haven't seen that before," asked Boyd.
