It took a couple of weeks for Rebekah to eat the entire dragon that she could hardly believe actually existed, gaining much. Nevan let her have most of it after not feeling much from the piece of heart he ate, only taking a few bits here and there. Thankfully it wasn't a total waste for him, earning a ton of good boy points in her books, making her completely forget the last food debacle.

Driving in the red Ferrari once again towards their destination, Rebekah looks over at her discomforted husband,- "So you never did tell me, but who is that you're supposed to be finding?"

"Hm? Oh, yeah, almost forgot about that, Cora, remember me telling you about her? Firing little thing, seems she's gone missing after traveling back home, got word her family was back or something in the news, it'd be a shame if she came back only to die."

Rebekah shivered a little feeling the apathy of his words,- "Nevan, honey, I hope you're not like this with our kid."

Nevan turned from the window, raising an eyebrow, but otherwise stayed silent. Many silent hours later without looking at her, he finally spoke,- "I won't be."

Cheeks lifting into a grin at his coy behavior, Rebekah giggled- "You're so cute, let's have a bit of fun shall we," she said putting the pedal to the metal, causing another unhappy groan from him.

Sirens soon blared behind them as she swerved in and out of traffic much to the annoyance of Nevan who would have thrown up multiple times now if it wasn't for his healing factor.

"Rebekah, could we not, any minute now they'll be in front of us placing spike strips and closing the road," Nevan complained.

"Oh, alright, party pooper, but now what, I didn't think this far ahead, quite a lot of them on our tail now," Rebekah said letting off the gas as she looked through the rearview mirror.

"Well, we just might have to abandon this detestable veh..." But trailed off seeing her glare.

Her glare then turned into a smirk as a new thought hit her,- "I'd hate to leave it, but going shopping again will be fun, I can't wait!" She said excitedly.

His tune quickly changed, "No, no, that's okay, why would we need to when we can easily get out of this, don't worry I'll take care of everything."

"Oh, honey I knew you could do it," Rebekah said happily.

Eyes narrowing at her, knowing he just got played, he clicked his tongue,- "Tsk, fine have it your way, we'll keep the damn thing, watch and learn dear, sooner or later you'll have to practice more so you can do things like this too."

Opening the car door, Rebekha looked over questioningly,- "Wait, Nevan, what are you..." She begins to ask as he hops out, shifting into his Noblesse form, picking up the car, and flying away. Leaving behind a crowd of completely shocked cops and people with multiple car crashes taking place as they took their eyes left the road to watch.

Rebekah palms her face, still not on board with this whole uncaring attitude toward exposing themselves to the world.

A couple of helicopters didn't think twice about following as they took off after them.

"Nevan dear, we have a cop and news chopper following us," Rebekah kindly reminded.

"On it," Nevan said, throwing the car up with her screaming at the sudden change in velocity and turning to unleash a couple of energy blade slashes that destroyed both before catching the car again.

"Nevan! Don't do that without warning me, I almost lost my lunch," Rebekah complained, something she would have thought twice about saying if she could see the evil grin that just appeared on his face.

"You're so cute, let's have a bit of fun shall we," Nevan said echoing her words from earlier.

"What kind of fun?" asked Rebekah not understanding right away.

"Pleasing fasten your seatbelt and keep all hands and feet within the compartment at all times, and enjoy the ride."

Rebekah not missing the hint this time began to say,- "Nevvvaaannn!" right before he sped up tossing her up, down, and spinning around.

Laughing as the screams went up a notch with a few curse words thrown in at him.

Landing not too long after, he got an earful more than he would have if that stupid grin didn't piss her off more.

"You can be such a dick sometimes, you really got me with the baby thing, I was really blind, should have dated you longer first, where's all that sweetness from when we first met, huh?" She complained.

"Hey, you're telling me you don't like rollercoasters? And I do to still have some sweetness in me, but you know what they say, too much of a good thing is bad for you, besides if I was perfect you would get bored of me,"

"If you were perfect there is no way I'd get bored of you," She snorted.

Nevan just chuckled.

"You realize we need a new car now, look at what you did just because you can't stand having someone get one over on you without retaliating," said Rebekah shaking her head.

"Hey what do you expect, I'm the Alpha of Alphas baby, the original alpha, if I think someone has slighted me in any way, they better be prepared for my retaliation, it's in my nature babe," said Nevan without shame.

Rebekah rolled her eyes,- "Whatever, so are we close now or what?"

"Yeah, we're close, just a few more miles that way," He points.

Rebekah got back in the car,- "Let's just drive peacefully this time."

Nevan grinned,- "I believe it was you who started the police chase if I recall correctly."

Rebekah waved her hand,- "Yeah, yeah, get in, I need a nice warm bath, it feels like it's been ages since I've had one since you blew up New Orleans."

About to get in, Nevan paused his movements.

"Come on, I promise I won't do anything crazy, just get in and we'll be there before you know it."

Nevan shook his head,- "It's not that, I just caught her scent."

"What?"

"Cora's scent, I just caught it, she's not that far away, how about you go on ahead and get us a place in Beacon Hills while I go see what's going on, I'll meet you later."

Rebekah thinks on it for a second before saying,- "Okay, hurry back and you can join me in a warm bath."

"Definitely," grinned Nevan, zooming around to give her a goodbye kiss, before Zooming away.
