Getting More Shameful Than The Last

As soon as these words came out, the expressions of the crew of "The Harem" darkened.

It felt as though someone had slapped them a few times. How embarrassing!

Especially for Li Cheng and Lin Mier.

Within the group, they were the two most influential and powerful figures. If news were to spread that they had been kicked out of the Brilliant Bar, and were even put onto the blacklist, how would they face anyone in the future?

What a joke! Where in the world did Xia Weibao get that card from?

As for the crew of "Fallen City", they stood proud and tall.

One by one, they puffed up their chests.

You wanted to put us down. You looked down on us. You wanted to chase us out.

And see, now you just got slapped in the face.

Li Cheng stared at Xia Weibao with a sinister look. How he wished he could take her down with his gaze.

Seeing that they were not leaving, the manager's expression darkened.

"Why aren't you leaving yet? Do you expect me to get sedans to carry you out of this place?"

As he said that, he signalled for the security officer to intervene and chase them out.

Seeing that Li Cheng and his team were caught in an embarrassing situation, Xia Weibao suddenly spoke up.

"Wait a minute."

Li Cheng rejoiced inwardly. Could it be that Xia Weibao was trying to get in his good books to get the role of the female lead?

The thought of that caused his embarrassment to disappear straight away, and he adopted a haughty stance once again, as if he was waiting for Xia Weibao to appease him.

Only to see Xia Weibao smiling meaningfully.

"Manager, no matter what, Director Li is a well-known public figure. It wouldn't be good to just chase him out like that."

Li Cheng snorted coldly. At least she knew what she was doing.

Xia Weibao continued, "Just earlier, Director Li said that our "Fallen City" crew is so poor that we should just find a road-side store or eat under the bridge when we have a gathering. I strongly disagree with that. So I was thinking, if I met such a poor crew, I would never let them eat under a bridge. No matter what, they must have a place to shelter them from the elements."

The manager was slightly confused. "Then, Miss Xia, you mean…"

Xia Weibao magnanimously waved her hand. "Since it's the last room, let's use it together."

The manager caught on quickly, and immediately understood what she meant.

"Hurry and take a few bowls and place them in the corner of the room so that Director Li and his crew can eat properly."

Xia Weibao raised her eyebrow, and glanced at the manager with respect in her eyes.

Then he continued, "You might as well give them a bowl of rice too. Otherwise, the empty bowl will make them look like beggars. That won't be too nice."

As soon as these words were spoken, the whole crew of "Fallen City" could not help but laugh out loud.

This was such a vicious move!

To let others squat in a corner with a bowl of rice watching you drink and make merry. That was too much, too shameless. But they loved it!

It was addicting!

You tried to drag us down. Now you see for yourselves what it really feels like!

As for the crew of "The Harem", their faces were all contorted.

Their faces looked even worse than someone who just ate sh*t.

Xia Weibao was elated, but Xu Jiayang was slightly displeased.

He chided, "Baby, no matter what, Director Li is still a well-known director. If this matter were to be spread, it would be terrible. Besides, you might even be in one of Director Li's movies. Don't be too extreme."

His stern words silenced the entire crew of "Fallen City".

In their hearts, they were all thinking about what a good man Director Xu was.

Someone had just trampled on him, yet he was still speaking up for them.

Only Xia Weibao innocently replied, "You're right, Director Xu. So what should we do?"

Every crew member of "The Harem" was moved, thinking that Director Xu was indeed a kind man.

So they waited for Director Xu to bless them generously.

"Give them each a stool, so that they'll be more comfortable while eating."
