Chapter 27: Clash of the Titans

Holy Kaisa watched the nuclear explosion with keen interest, her right leg crossed over her left and her right foot rotating leisurely. She showed no sign of urgency.

"Queen Kaisa!"

"Queen Kaisa!"

"Queen Kaisa!"

Angels Ying, Leng, and Zhui saw that Queen Kaisa had arrived and immediately broke off their engagements with the demons, gathering by her side.

"It's a pity about Moyi. If I had arrived just a minute earlier, Nova's disaster could have been averted!" Holy Kaisa's authoritative face, shadowed by her green eye makeup, carried a hint of regret. Her resonant voice echoed throughout Nova.

"Queen Kaisa, you must not blame yourself. We have done our best!" Angel Leng spoke up quickly, preempting Ying.

"What's done is done. No need to dwell on it. I've already identified that four out of five bunkers have been infected, but their transformation into demons seems to be slow," Kaisa noted. "This is good news for us. We need to eliminate Mony and her demon army before the infected Nova people are fully transformed."

"If we destroy Mony and her army, it won't matter how many Nova people turn into demons. Without Mony and her command, it will only be a matter of time before we wipe them out."

Kaisa then turned to Angel Ying. "Ying, you will command Tianblade One and Tianblade Seven in the fight against Mony's demon army."

"Understood, Queen Kaisa!" Angel Ying saluted and then addressed Angel Zhui. "Zhui, take Moyi back to Tianblade Seven for recovery and then return!"

"Yes, Sister Ying!" Angel Zhui saluted Queen Kaisa and flew off to find Angel Moyi.

"Leng, let's move!"

"Hmph, I never have a good time when I'm with you!" Angel Leng's characteristic arrogance was evident as always.

Once Angel Ying and Angel Leng departed, Holy Kaisa turned her thoughtful gaze to the explosion site. "How are you enjoying your gift, my foolish sister?"

The nuclear explosion's fireball had dissipated, leaving a massive mushroom cloud. As Kaisa spoke, the cloud was dispersed by a surge of dark energy, revealing Mony's silhouette.

Mony looked disheveled, her hair in disarray and her black and purple bodysuit torn. However, the influx of energy from Demon One had allowed her to survive the explosion, though she was battered.

"Kaisa, you b**ch! Do you think you've won? Those Nova people are already infected with my demon genes. In a few minutes, nearly a billion powerful demon warriors will rise. How will you fight me then? You're doomed, Kaisa! Hahaha!" Mony's confidence soared as she anticipated the emergence of her new demon army.

"You are as foolish as ever. Do you think you'll live to see your demons transformed? Who gave you that confidence? Oh, by the way, Nova people are different from other God River life forms. Your gene virus infects them, but it transforms them much slower. They cannot escape becoming disgusting demons, but it takes much longer compared to others!" Kaisa's lips curled into a mocking smile, leaving Mony stunned.

"What? That's impossible, b**ch! Arcturus, check this out immediately!" Mony cursed and contacted Arcturus. Despite being suppressed by Kaisa, Demon One's basic communication and dark data scanning remained functional.

"My queen, it appears to be true. The infected Nova people are showing demon traits, but the transformation is much slower. It might take ten minutes for complete conversion."

"Damn it! I can't hold out against Kaisa for ten minutes! Damn it!" Mony cursed as she cut off the communication, glaring at Kaisa with a grim expression.

Meanwhile, the angels and demons were locked in fierce combat, each side suffering casualties, though the demons were faring worse. Angels Ying and Leng led their forces, while Snow and Atos commanded the demons.

"Enough banter. Time to die!" Holy Kaisa's demeanor shifted to cold determination. With a swift motion, she summoned a silver metallic wing that shot toward Mony.

Mony, her attention sharply focused, raised her demon claws to block the attack. "Not bad, blocking that. But how about this?" Kaisa formed a circle with her index and middle fingers, and ripples appeared behind her throne as three more silver wings materialized.

With a flick of her left hand, one of the wings darted towards Mony. "Damn it, Kaisa, you b**ch!" Mony summoned another demon claw to fend off the attack. The sound of metal clashing filled the air as the second silver wing was blocked.

"Impressive, blocking two. But how many more claws do you have?" Kaisa's mocking smile remained. She knew Mony's actions were all within the calculations of her Holy Knowledge Treasury. The remaining pair of wings hovered menacingly behind her throne.

As Mony summoned her last demon claw, she hesitated, then accessed a dark communication channel she had used recently. She decided to make a desperate call.

"Lianbing, I need—"

"Save it. Give me some of the Great Clock's computational power immediately, or I'm dead!"

"Lianbing, alright!"
