Relieved

Despite the weird sticky texture with the fish, it quickly became everyone's favorite before they started running. The Agility boost would help them in running for sure. Shen finished his night grinding and called it a night before he logged out. He came out of his gaming pod and walked out of his room to get a glass of water before he went to sleep.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

The alarm rang, he always set six hours of sleep for himself. Lack of sleep would not be good for his day so he made sure to have at least five hours, but awarded himself a six hours sleep because he would be looking for the potential orphanage for Eunha today.

Shen reached the phone and turned off the alarm. He sat up and stretched out, it was seven-thirty in the morning. He jumped out of the bed and went to the bedroom. Washing up and getting dressed, he was ready to hunt some orphanage. He had done his research while he tried to sleep last night and he had a few names. He just needed to come over and do some checks.

"Let's have some buns before we start our day, shall we?" Shen walked out of the room and headed out. He skipped his morning workout and headed toward the bun shop. He glanced at the door next to his room, he was going to wake his friend, but then he shook his head. This was his personal thing, he did not want to bother his friend.

Shen went down alone and headed toward the locally famous Wen Bun. Seven-thirty, it was quite late so the shop was not crowded. The people who went to work were no longer around as they must be on their way to their workplace.

He was about to call Uncle Wen until he saw a small figure sitting on the table closest to the entrance. The small figure was a girl and she had her hair tied into a twin tail. The girl was eating the bun with the fork in her hand, a weird way to eat a bun. That was not the main problem though because the small girl was so familiar to him.

"Eunha!?" He called out and the little girl raised her head. Yes, the little girl was Eunha, but how could she be her? Wasn't she supposed to be in the hospital?

"Brother Shen!" Eunha jumped down from the seat and ran toward him, calling him out excitedly. Shen subconsciously squatted and opened his arm, but then he realized that Eunha should not be running around like this. He was about to warn her, but it was too late as the girl jumped into his embrace.

Shen picked her up and rebuked her with a gentle rebuke, "You should not run around like that!" The little girl was so excited that she held onto his neck tightly and hummed. Shen rubbed her back and brought her to the table, "Why are you here? Did the head nurse bring you here?"

"No, Mother Jun brings me here," Eunha replied as he put her on her seat, "Huh!? Auntie Jun brought you here? Wait, Mother Jun? What happened?" Shen was confused about the situation.

"Brother Shen! Listen to me first!" Eunha's excited voice pulled him down back to his seat. Shen was about to go find Auntie Jun. He wanted to know what actually happened but he sat back when the little girl called him out, "Yes, what's it, girl?" It was rare to see Eunha's serious face.

After a while, the little girl spoke, "Actually I already know that my family has abandoned me." When he heard that from the little girl's mouth, he was stumped. He wanted to say something to comfort her but no words came from his mouth. He just did not know what he should say.

"I know they will abandon me after two months, They never visited me even once or even gave me a call, so I knew this would happen," The little girl added.

He truly did not know how to comfort the poor little girl. He wanted to hug her and told her that even though her family abandoned her, he would always be here for her. He would love her more than her family but the little girl was stronger than he thought.

"I am fine, Brother Shen. I have you! I have the nurses to take care of me and now I have a new family that cares about me," Eunha smiled sweetly.

At this moment, Auntie Jun and Uncle Wen came out from the kitchen, bringing a new steaming basket but Uncle Wen merely brought an empty basket with him. A mere gesture for him to see. He rolled his eyes and pulled him over, "Now, can you tell me what happens, Uncle Wen?"

"Don't you know already, Eunha has told you, right? We adopted her," Uncle Wen said as if it was nothing major. If Uncle Wen was his friend, Ming or Dale, he would hit him on the head for sure, "That's it?"

Thanks to Auntie Jun, she hit Uncle Wen on the head for him, "Can you speak properly a little bit? You are too old for that," Then Auntie Jun sat across from Shen, "We know that Eunha is about to be discharged and her family could not be contacted, Mei Mei told us about that so we decided about her. Of course, the decision was made after careful consideration."

"We are old and lonely, Mei Mei is working in the city and Shuren will follow her to the city for his university, having and taking care of Eunha will make our days. Of course, we also have asked her if she wanted to be adopted by us or not, and she agreed." Auntie Jun made it short. Were they adopting Eunha for Shen? Of course, adoption was not a simple matter and the responsibility for that was not a joking matter.

They were taking this seriously, moreover, they were fond of her as well as they often met her during their visit when Shen was injured. After that, they regularly visited her once or twice a month.

When Shen heard the story, it was as if a heavy burden had been lifted from his shoulder. While they said they were old, they were still healthy and strong. They were capable of taking care of Eunha. She was sensible, it would not be hard for the two to take care of her.

"What are you saying, Mom? I am not going to live with my Big Sister. I would rather live with my cute little sister here," Shuren came out of the kitchen and kissed Eunha on her hair, "Good morning, Eunha."

"Morning, Brother Shuren…" Eunha replied while chewing the cabbage bun. She liked the bun a lot, "Have you eaten yet?"

Shen was happy about this, it was not tragic as she found a new family to stay with and he was glad it was Uncle Wen's Family too. He had known this family for years and he knew that they would take care of Eunha well.

Shen decided to stay longer and chatted with Uncle Wen and Auntie Jun. They were talking about Eunha's future. Eunha was five years old and she was at the age that should play a lot with the children at her age and Auntie Jun planned to look for a nearby kindergarten for her. Shen agreed but they had to be careful as Eunha needed special care because of her weak heart.

"Do you have the names of the kindergarten, Auntie Jun? I can visit the kindergarten since I have free time today. I planned to take a break today so might as well do some research for a good kindergarten," Shen agreed to help them to look for a kindergarten.

"I am free too, I will follow you, Brother Shen," Shuren agreed to follow as well as the little girl raised her little hand as well, "Me too! Me too! I want to walk together with my brothers!" Just like that, Shen spent his time with Eunha and Shuren.
