Engagement Celebration (we know how to party)

It was time for the party (Surprise!!!!!!!!)

Jakes said "it's not a new year's eve party."

Evelin said "it's your engagement party, we have to change plans and celebrate your engagement.""

Laura said "you got us."

Evelin said "lets party people."

*while everyone was partying Laura was talking to her brother Eric*

Eric said "you're glowing you are happy in love."

Laura said "Thank you, you look great."

Eric said "let's just say things are great I'm happy."

Laura said "that's awesome, let sit down and talk."

Eric said "sounds serious."

Laura said "while in Italy, we meet this strange woman, she told me I will have two girls. She talked about nations ruling them and that it is not by my power or strength of my hands that produced this wealth I don't remember the rest."

Eric said "she sounds to me like an angel of God, nothing strange about her, all things happens for a reason and there's a reason why God wanted you to know this."

Laura said "what could it be?"

Eric said "that you will have to find out yourself, like the saying you can drag a donkey to drink water but it must want to drink it."

Laura said "why can't you be clear Eric?"

*Eric laughs*

Eric said "I can preach to you, give you the verses that the woman gave you all it's not going to be good for you if you don't believe and open up your heart."

Laura said "you sound like jakes."

Eric said "shocking, I should befriend him, I'm liking jakes more now."

Laura said" you don't know how shocked I was but I love him and will respect his beliefs."

Eric said "what do you believe in Laura and don't you believe in God?"

Laura said "I don't know."

Eric said "you need to know jakes knows what he believes in and what if he wants you to believe in what he does then what?"

Laura said "he won't force me to believe same as you haven't all these years."

Eric said "well I keep praying for you sister, hopefully one day you will be thanking God for what he will do to your life and really know him."

Laura said "you know me when I am done with someone I'm done no going back I was done with God before I knew him and all the pain I went through was too much"

The party was awesome and everyone had great time

New Year (having a braai well BBQ)

Jake said "I love what you did with your hair."

Laura said "Thank you, braids natural hair it is not easy to maintain."

Jakes said "our outdoor adventures begins."

Laura said "I can't believe I will be marrying a clown."

Jakes said "do you want me to pass out?"

Laura said" you pushed me to hike mountains so your fear of clowns will do something about that."

They went outside, Laura did everything set the braai stand marinated the meat, set the place for them to sit.

Laura said "this is how it's done, take notes babe."

Jakes said "it looks great, thank you babe, just don't tell my father I was eating snacks and sitting here, and while you did everything I won't here the end of this."

Laura said "laughing out loud babe, so I'm not allowed to spoil my man and you're not only one who can throw up surprises."

Jakes said "well, can't wait to make you my wife and we should decide on the wedding date."

Laura said "we will, tomorrow it's our first day at your father's company and which one did he place us to?"

Jakes said "changing the topic, the insurance company I would have loved to be placed at the Software development company or one of his other IT Companies."

Laura said "technology is taking over it is fascinating."

Jakes said "which company you would like?"

Laura said "your father's PR Company."

Jakes said "really, why?"

Laura said "you know my love of writing, I want to own a company having digital magazine, must be more than that, publish articles, broadcast news, entertainment and health all this in a click of a button, the website will be insane competing with satellite dish companies. Sounds confusing I know still have to work on the details."

Jakes said" No, it sounds interesting I get why PR Company or Media Company will be best to work for."

Laura said "I have more crazy ideas, and many companies to build."

Jakes said "you will do great babe, back to the wedding date, winter wedding or a spring wedding."

Laura said "are we having an outdoor or indoor wedding?"

Jakes said "you first have to choose winter or spring then you start planning outdoor or indoor wedding."

Laura said "I don't think it works like that."

Jakes said "have you been married or planned a wedding before?"

Laura said "are you stupid jakes?"

Jakes said "I'm not, you are pushing me away do you have cold feet and I don't like being called stupid."

Laura said "I'm sorry, you keep pushing you should learn to leave things the way they are, you can tell I'm not interested in talking about wedding plans but yet you push the issue."

Jakes said "I am sorry, I'm not the guy who is going to pretend with you and carry on like nothing is going on. If you want someone like that maybe we should rethink this whole engagement thing."

Laura said "fine, I don't have time for this I love you and can't wait to be your wife but not like this you like be in control. Winter or spring, what if I wanted autumn or summer wedding."

Jakes said "you should have said so, I'm standing here thinking you are having doubts about us."

Laura said "did you give me a chance, it's our wedding not jakes alone, after graduation which is on may will start to plan the wedding. Whether its winter summer spring I don't care as long as I say I do to the man I love."

Jakes said "fine, will do that. Laura gets to have the final say, she is the man in this relationship."

Laura said " I am an independent, strong and smart woman, not one who will have to agree to whatever you say Jake's."

Jake's said " you just want to be in control, and just let me be a man, this is not what being a strong woman means. Shutting me out and letting me in, when you feel like it. Independent, I want you to rely on me and I trust you, do you."

Laura said " I do , will work on my issues of always thinking I'm right and wanting my way always. This is the first for me, all my friendship were bad, so romantic relationship just trying to make it work."

Jake's said " this is all new to us both, never been serious and sure about anything in this world, than wanting you to be my wife. I get you live your whole life not being with people I mean getting close except Eric, I wonder if that wont be a problem."

Laura said " you think because I don't let people in my life will affect our relationship, and you are wondering if I will cut you off like I did to some people, move on just because I'm scared of being so close to you."

Jake's said " maybe im your best friend and Eric only, this is not about you having friends. This is about you putting up walls, wanting to have the final say, any way let's just let it go."

Laura said " Fine."
