A New Adventure

The Magic Knight's Entrance Exam had just ended. They were now calling people up for the magic knight squad captains to choose whether or not they wanted them on their squads. Yuno had been accepted into the Golden Dawn and Asta into the Black Bulls. Your number was called and you nervously stepped up.

"Number 166, do we have any hands?" The announcer guy asked the Magic Knight captains. All nine squad captains raised their hand for you. There were two clear choices that were in your head: the Golden Dawn and the Black Bulls. After thinking it over for a little while, you made up your mind.

"I would love to join the Black Bulls." You made your decision as a bunch of people began to whisper to each other, questioning your squad choice.

"Of all the nine magic knight squads she could have chosen, why did she go with the Black Bulls? They're the worst of the bunch." You heard a female contestant say.

"Beats me. If I were her, I'd choose a squad like the Golden Dawn, Silver Eagles, or the Crimson Lions." You heard a guy say to the girl. Everyone seemed either confused or disgusted by your choice to join the Black Bulls. But you had your reasons. You wanted to be by your crush/best friend's side as well as have a bit more of an adventure. Plus, you had a gut feeling that being a member of the Black Bulls would be a lot more fun, especially with Asta. You were happy with your decision and no one else could change your mind. After everyone's number had been called, Asta went over to Yuno to talk to him. Their conversation was cut short when Asta had to use the bathroom really bad. It was probably due to the grilled violet snake he ate earlier. While he was in the bathroom, the guy named Sekke sneaked up to the men's bathroom entrance and cast a spell and a sinister-looking transparent bronze lizard manifested and was about to enter the bathroom where Asta was. You were about to go do something, but then a hawk made of air crushed the lizard with its talons and Yuno showed up. He glared at Sekke with an angry expression.

"What are you doing?" Yuno asked Sekke accusingly with a threatening tone.

"Umm nothing ha ha, I was just playing a prank. I'll just get going then." Sekke said nervously before taking off. He ran away in your direction and bumped into you.

"Sorry about running into you like that, ha ha. Anyways, what is a beautiful lady like you doing out here beyond sundown? It can be dangerous after dark. Shall I accompany you home?" Sekke said, trying to hit on you. But you weren't having any of it, especially after you witnessed him trying to get revenge on Asta over losing to him.

"I came here to wait for Asta since we were accepted into the same squad. Don't you dare start hitting on me. I saw what you were about to do to my best friend. Fortunately for you, Yuno was there to stop you before I had a chance to. If it was me that stopped you instead, I guarantee you wouldn't have gotten away unscathed." You said as you glared daggers at Sekke who nervously backed off and ran away without a word. After Asta was out of the bathroom, he and you met up with Captain Yami, the creepy mime-like guy who quietly introduced himself as Gordon Agrippa, and the brown-haired guy who introduced himself as Finral Roulacase. Finral opened a portal and Captain Yami picked Asta up and threw him through the portal. You followed flying Asta through the portal, followed by Captain Yami, Gordon, and Finral. Asta landed on his stomach in front of a huge dark building. You ran ahead in excitement, stopping in front of the building and turned around to face Asta.

"Isn't this great Asta? We've finally made it into a magic knight squad! Our new adventure starts here." You said, smiling as your long twin-tails swayed in the gentle breeze.

"Yeah, you're right Lil. Now that I've gotten into a magic knight squad, I can finally work hard to surpass Yuno and become the Wizard King!" Asta said, smiling at you, his eyes sparkling with strong determination. Asta started walking ahead of you to the door and opened it. Just as he was introducing himself loudly, an explosion blasted him backward. He flew back right into your arms as you caught him with ease, the impact not even pushing you back.

"Welcome to the Black Bulls, the worst of the worst magic knight squad." Captain Yami said as he gestured towards the large dark building, chuckling. After the smoke from the explosion cleared, you guys saw two guys fighting. One with baseball style fire magic and the other with lightning magic. There was a drunk woman in her underwear wearing a witch hat sprawled on the sofa, telling the two males battling to quiet down because of her headache. At the table there was a small girl pigging out as sheep cooked and served her more food which she scarfed down. Seated further down that table was a guy staring at a photo with a nosebleed while muttering to himself. Sitting on a couch in the corner was a large heavyset dude with smoke flowing out of his mouth. There was no cigar or cigarette causing the smoke which confused you. As the punk guy and the energetic blonde guy fought, it got more chaotic. The drunk witch woman and the weird nosebleed guy yelled at them until Captain Yami lost his cool.

"Alright, I've had enough! STOP BREAKING THINGS ALREADY!!!" Captain Yami yelled while concentrating mana in his fist and slamming it into the wall, causing a huge portion of it to break and crumble to pieces. Everyone stopped what they were doing and crowded around Yami, happily greeting him and asking various requests.

"Heh, it's great to know how much you all missed me. Now shut up!" Yami said and immediately everyone sat down obediently like well-trained puppies.

"Now I'd like to introduce you to our new members, uh where are they?" Yami said as he looked around for you and Asta. The large smoky dude was sitting right on top of Asta while you were trying to pull Asta out from under him.

~Short Time Skip~

After you got Asta free, Captain Yami asked the two of you to introduce yourselves to the Black Bulls members. You went first before Asta.

"Hi I'm Lily Grinberryall from Hage Village. It's great to meet you all. I'm really looking forward to working with you." You said as everyone got puzzled looks on their faces.

"My name is Asta. I'm from Hage Village just like Lil here. It's really nice to meet all of you!" Asta practically shouted. You chuckled at Asta's enthusiasm. Finral then proceeded to introduced the rest of the Black Bull members to the you two. After everyone was introduced, Magna had some tests for you and Asta to earn your Black Bulls robes. Both of you were eager to accept the challenge.
