Ninety-nine desert nights

Isabel has stage four cancer somewhere in her guts, so she has packed her bag and went to Raven's Cove, a beach resort owned by the Raven family. The resort offers a retirement plan for terminally ill patients. And one thing that attracted Isabel to sign up is the fulfillment of her bucket list. Many sorts of things happened in the resort that made Isabel's southward life into a rollercoaster. (Cover picture credits to the owner, we do not own the photo)

The smell of him

She collapsed on the bed. She closed her eyes and imagined his body beside her. For some reason, her stomach pain subsided tremendously. She fell asleep and didn't feel the people who bathe her. Everything around her was as good as if she's in a coma.

She went into a dream. In her dream, the crystal globe brought her somewhere. She was in a crystal dome similar to the ballroom in Raven's Cove, but it's bigger and has full of plants. The dome was also air-conditioned.

"Isabel, thank you for bringing me here."

She looked around. The voice sounds familiar.

"Liz?"

What she had seen terrified her a little. The woman in front of her was not the Liz she knew as a musician in Hasher's Grove, but Elizabeth Raven.

"Don't be scared, I'm here to help you."

"How?"

There are too many unanswered questions. This one needed an answer. The Elizabeth in front of her is divinely beautiful.

"Welcome friends."
