Chapter 20

Laura calmed her hormones down and walked out of the woods. The wolves were dancing and having a good time. She started looking for Makayla. She was here as her "date" but even she hadn't stopped Michael when he'd thrown her over his shoulder. She finally glimpsed Makayla but she was heading into the woods. Laura frowned and followed her. She stopped as she saw Makayla take her dress off and change. What was she up to? Laura sensed another wolf in the woods and it was powerful. 

She watched as Makayla took off in the direction of that power and she heard a mournful howl. It caused goosebumps on her flesh. She walked back out and found Dominique who seemed extremely pissed off. She sat at the table with her. Tim came over and handed her a drink which she downed. Laura couldn't remember a time when she had seen Dominique like this. What had happened while she was gone?
