Two weeks later and everything is still blurry. "I'm beginning to think I won't be getting my sight to a hundred percent again," I said to Iris. The others were busy doing other stuff.

"We've tried everything. Eye drops and water. Why can't you see clearly anymore?" Iris said.

My mouth twitched. "Fax didn't say anything about this," I murmured.

"Huh?"

"When I...uh, went into the coma I was in a room that had white walls. A guy called Fax told me that I was in a coma and that you guys defeated Zoom. That I would wake up in...Oh," I said in realization.

"What?"

"Um, I didn't wait the twenty-four hours. I forced myself to wake up so this not seeing clearly thing might be because I woke up before I was supposed to."

"Tina! So there is no way to reverse it?"

I shrugged. "I'm not sure."

"Oh, boy. I'll do some research and see what I come up with."

"Um, I don't think that's going to work."

"Why wouldn't it?"

"Because I doubt anyone would talk about it if that happened and I'm sure no one has had this happen to them."

"Well, I'm still going to look."

I sighed. "Fine." She left and I stared at the wall. This sucks! I love Barry and I can't even see him clearly! I put my head in my hands.

"Tina?" Barry said as he came in.

"What?" I grumbled.

"It's going to be fine."

"So says the person who can see just fine."

He sighed. "It doesn't change who you are."

"Nope, just leaves me unable to see properly and everyone wishes for that to happen," I said sarcastically.

"Tina, it doesn't change how I feel about you."

I sighed. "I know but it still sucks."

"You function just fine though."

I looked at him. "That's not the point."

"I know." He kissed me. "But we'll find a way to get your sight back."

"Or you can just put her back into a coma," a male voice said.

We both turned. I glared. "Hello, Fax. Come to explain why the hell I can't see properly?"

"You already know the answer to that," he said.

"Yeah, well fix it!"

He smiled. "I can't."

"What do you mean?" Barry said.

Fax laughed. "Oh, The Thinker and I go hand in hand."

I blinked. "You work with him."

"Yes. My power is I can go between worlds."

"Then why did you help me?"

"Because I knew you were going to wake yourself up early."

"You knew? How..." I glared. "What's The Thinker's plan?"

"Oh, there's another Meta Human out there. Have fun catching her. You will need to be sharp for rebec." He disappeared.

"Another one?" I muttered.

"There are several out there," Barry replied.

"Yeah, but at least we know that we are looking for a girl."

"True."

I shook my head and walked out of the room. Or tried to. I walked right into a wall. "It's getting worst," I growled.

He took my hand and led me out of the door. "This way."

"I feel weak like this," I muttered.

"You aren't."

"I can't protect anyone with weak eyesight."

"You did though."

"My eyesight was better then! It's getting worst, Barry. Soon I won't see anything." I yanked my arm out of his grip. "Night Flash will be permanently gone."

He looked at me. Or I think he did. "Tina, I love you. If I have to lead you around all the time then I will."

And that was the wrong thing to say. I left without him. When I was outside I froze. Rebecca Sharpe. Fax hinted at who the next Meta-Human was! I got a cab and went to the Casino she works at. "Hey, Rebecca," I said.

She looked up. "Oh, Tina! I didn't know you were in town! Can you believe I just got fired?"

"You did?" No sign of her power yet. Then a guy won for the sixth time. I frowned. "Did that guy really win that many times or is he cheating?"

"I'm not sure. Yeah, I got fired."

"That sucks. I'm slowly losing my sight."

"Really? Oh, how sad."

I twitched. "Yeah."

"Well, I guess we are like the bad luck sisters."

I smiled. "Maybe."

"Let's go see if we can change that." We walked out of the casino and the bus was already leaving. "Hey, hey! Wait!" The bus stopped. "Hey, finally, some good luck."

I smacked into a pole. "Ouch!"

She looked at me. "Oh, Tina. Here I'll lead the way." She grabbed my hand and led me into the bus.

I rubbed my nose. "That had hurt."

"Maybe your vision will get better sometime."

I winced. "I wish." My phone rang. It was Barry. I let it go to voicemail.

Rebecca looked at me. "Was that someone important?"

"Nah, just someone who pissed me off."

"Oh, well how long will you ignore the person."

I shrugged. "I'm not sure."

We got off the bus and she found a penny that was heads up. "Find a coin heads up means good luck."

I smacked into the wall. "Ugh!" Every time she gets lucky I get bad luck! This must be her power. "Um, you sure are getting some good luck today."

She nodded. "Isn't it great?"

"Yeah...What are we doing at a bank?"

"You stay here. I'm just going to get some stuff."

I frowned. "You aren't planning to steal are you?"

"Oh, no." She walked inside.

I felt I should go with her but decided against it. I grabbed my phone and listened to Barry's message. 'Hey, Tina. I'm sorry if what I said upset you. Can you call me back when you get this message? Please? Love you. Bye.' I bit my bottom lip. I'll call him later. The bank's bell went off. Dammit! She did steal. She came running and grabbed my hand pulling me into a cab. "Becky!"

"I need the money! I'll give it back someday."

I glared. "When?" I looked out the back window and blinked. Barry had run up but a container full of marbles fell over. This made Barry fall. I smiled. "Okay, I swear seeing Flash fall on his face was a nice surprise."

She smiled. "I didn't even do that."

I glanced at her. Does she know about her power? "You kind of did."

"Huh?"

"Any good luck you get gives bad luck to other people."

"Oh, that's too bad. But I'm not willing to give my good luck up."

"I didn't think you did." Though I have to find a way to get you caught, I thought to myself. My phone rang. This time I answered. "What?"

"Are you seriously in a car with one of the Metas?" Barry said.

"Maybe. She's an old friend of mine actually."

"Sure. Now what were you thinking?"

I snorted. "Fax gave us a hint, doofus. I figured it out and acted on it."

"You..."

"Shut up. We're going to the casino to have some fun."

Rebecca looked at me. "Who are you talking to?"

I smiled at her. "The one I was pissed at," I mouthed.

"Oh, okay."

"Who are you talking to?" Barry asked.

"An old friend," I said as we got out of the cab. "We're here so I have to go."

"Tina, I..."

"We'll talk later." I hung up and looked at Rebecca. "I don't have much money so I'm not going to play. Is that okay?"

"Yes. Let's see if my luck holds out."

Turns out, her luck did hold out. She kept getting matches. Every time she did things happened around her. Like a waiter spilling someone's drink all over them. I looked around and saw Barry speed in. Except he trips and handcuffs himself. "I'll be right back, Rebecca," I muttered and walked over to him. "How the hell did you do that?"

He glared at me. "I don't know. Now get them off!"

I unlocked them. "Come on." We both walked over and he put the cuffs on her hands.

She looked at him. "Is there a chance you won't arrest me?" He shook his head and she sighed. "I didn't think so."
