As she looked me up and down with a smile that you would see from a Politian when they absolutely do not give a crap to really wanting to talk too you. I could now feel the way others must feel when someone of true dominance talks to someone in a subordinate position. The power this woman had in her presence alone. Strong, confident in herself, and most of all she seemed much more intelligent than I was and that was from just the hello.

Oh, crap is all I could think at the time but was able to say "Hello Lady Nancy" back. As I read the name that now appeared over her head Elder LadyNancy NC. Looking at me with her brownish green eyes I started to gather myself. I responded to her "Hoping all is well, is there something that I can do for you?

She looked at me with no change of expression. "Have you been enjoying your time with the family Tagem?"

"Yes I have, it has been amazing for what I have seen and the technology is unbelievable."

"Yes, we do like to stay ahead of the rest of the word," as she said with that smile.

Cocked her head to the left and asked "Do you know what happens next week if invited to stay for the Gathering?" Not having a clue of what she meant by being invited to stay, I could only reply "Invited to stay?" "Yes Tagem for only a few are allowed to stay for the Gathering. The rest are left here to proceed on with their vacation. I could tell Vixon wanted to say something but kept her silence as Wattie stood there watching Vixon and the Elder. Daria had the look of anger building up within her. For even at this short of time being together in person I could notice the change in Daria.

I shook my head not knowing what to say, keeping my composure "Truthful said if the cards lay in my favor then maybe I will be one of the few." For the one thing, I do not like is people to think they are above me in any way. So when I have a chance to even the playing field, I will take full advantage.

After saying the words I spoke, I took notice for her composure, it changed for a quick mil-second before she regained it.

Making sure I give proper respect since she just called me by name alone so to tell me she wanted me to know that she is higher in the chain than I am. This is a tactic that people who are not secure in their roll of leadership will do to try and make the point know to the underlings.
