7. Guild

3rd POV...

Asuna read almost all the messages people were saying about her on the board. Most of them were about her speed and wings. The people were saying many things. Asuna got tired of reading the messages so she switched off her laptop.

A week later.

~~~~Monday~~~~~~~~~

Asuna logged into the game after taking some days off. She spent that time reading about some important things about the game. She e-mailed the creators of the game asking them about how to get rare items. She could now combine her skills with her pet's skills.

Asuna decided to spar all the top players in the game so that she would be the top player. She opened the friends panel and typed Payne's name there. His name appeared and Asuna clicked on it. She sent him friend request. Asuna was surprised when Payne immediately accepted the friend request.

Asuna then clicked on his name and sent him a spar request. Payne sent a message to Asuna instead of accepting the spar.

WHISPER

Payne - "What do you want?!"

Lisa - "Spar."

Asuna waited for sometime until another message was sent to her.

Payne - "What for. You know you won't be able to defeat me."

Lisa - "Then let's make everyone watch us spar each other?!"

Payne - "I don't want to disgrace you."

"[This guy really thinks he is that strong?!]"

Lisa - "Actions speak louder than words."

There was no message again for sometime.

Lisa - "So what do you say?"

Payne - "OK! I will invite you."

Immediately after that message, a pane popped up in front of Asuna.

SPAR

Payne has invited you for spar.

Accept/ Refuse.

Asuna accepted the quest. She appeared at a place that looks like an arena.

"I thought this place would be all...damaged" Asuna said looking around. She looked back at Payne and held her short sword. "Are you ready?!" Asuna screamed so that Payne could hear. After she said that, a word [START] appeared in the sky

Asuna used her swift skill to quickly reach Payne. She tried to slash Payne many times but he was calmly dodging her attacks. Asuna tried hard but could not touch him.

"My turn." Payne said and side-stepped to the right when Asuna was about to attack him. He slashed Asuna's back.

"Ouch!" Asuna yelped. "[I've never received any painful attacks like this before.I have to be careful]" Asuna turned back to look at Payne but she could not see him there.

"Shit!" Asuna said noticing Payne behind her. She quickly blocked Payne's attack behind her although she did not turn back. Payne retreated and Asuna quickly turned back to look at him.

'Why are you always behind me?!" Asuna yelled at Payne angry.

"Your back is not properly guarded." Payne said smiling.

"Is that so?" Asuna said teasingly and dashed towards Payne. She slashed at Payne many times. Payne also attempted to slash Asuna many times but none of them inflicted any damage on each other.

Payne used a skill towards Asuna, she blocked the skill and kicked Payne's left leg. Payne lost his balance losing his guard. Asuna then used her {DOUBLE SLASH} skill reducing Payne's health by 5%. She quickly used it again to reduce his health.

Payne got up quickly and started to defend himself from Asuna's attacks. Payne carefully studied how Asuna attacks. Because of this Asuna had hard time trying to inflict damage on Payne.

Asuna noticed Payne was calmly dodging and blocking her attacks. Asuna raised her left weapon upwards making Payne look up. Asuna thought Payne would fall for what she was about to do. Payne then looked back at Asuna and smirked. He used his skill {SWORD OF JUDGMENT} reducing Asuna's health by 90%. He quickly used another skill to completely reduce Asuna's health.

Asuna was automatically revived after [DEFEATED] appeared in the sky. She looked at Payne surprised. [Round 2] appeared in the sky.

"[O-Okay, so there are three rounds maybe and one has to win two times to be the winner.]" Asuna thought smiling. "I will have to defeat him without taking any damage and I will take his title." Asuna said smirking.

Immediately after the [START] appeared in the sky, Asuna bolted towards Payne and used her swift skill to quickly move behind him. She held Payne's neck from behind as if she was choking him and used her {VENOM CAPSULE} skill to trap both of them in the poison.

"You're not gonna lay any finger on me anymore." Asuna teased. "Why did you not use the sword of judgement skill when we were fighting on the bridge in the second event?" Asuna asked Payne thinking about that time.

Payne was not able to get away from Asuna's tight grip on his neck. He was standing there just holding his sword.

"I did not have enough magic points." Payne said still calm. Asuna left him when his health reached 1%and the poison killed him.

"I quit!" He said. [Asuna Has Won] appeared in the sky.

"Eh...ehhhhh" Asuna screamed looking at Payne surprised.

"W-why did you quit! All I wanted was to just fight you!" She screamed again fuming.

"If you think you're strong then come join my guild" Payne said smiling and waved at Asuna. Asuna was about to say something when Payne disappeared.

"Hmph! He's so full of himself." Asuna said annoyed. She also disappeared and was brought to her previous location.

Zoro appeared behind Asuna and mentioned her name.

"WHAT?!" Asuna screamed looking back to see the person. "What?" She calmed down.

"You were...awesome!" Zoro praised Asuna.

"I...am...not...in the mood for your...'praises' right now" Asuna yelled and stormed away.

"Wait! I just wanted to ask if you would join our guild." Zoro said making Asuna stop.

"Again with this guild! When did you peed to create people started to create guilds and when was it even made possible to create a guild?!" Asuna said pointing to Zoro.

"Ehh! You don't know?" Zoro asked Asuna surprised that she did not know about the guild.

Asuna then calmed herself in order to speak well. "Yes, I don't know about it? Tell me."

"Well...there...was this bee that they brought in the forest. Anyone can buy a guild if the person get his hands on a bee." Zoro explained everything to Asuna.

"Uh...OK! So... why do you want me in your guild. I can just go and create one." Asuna said looking at Zoro.

"I wanted you to join because I am in one of the most powerful guilds." Zoro said smiling.

"OK! I will think about it." Asuna said and used {AWAKEN} skill(a skill which is used to summon a pet) to summon her pet. The pet appeared in the sky and Asuna used her {MEGAMORPHE} skill to enlarge her pet. She jumped on the pet.

"I now have an easy way to move to places." Asuna grinned.

Zoro looked at her amazed. "I know you will join!" He said and ran away to where he came from.

"[As if! Why would I join a weak guild pretending to be a powerful guild when I just got an invitation from the most powerful player in the game.]" Asuna thought thinking about how powerful Payne's colleagues would be.

She noticed she was at one place and ordered her pet to move forward. The pet started flying forwards. Asuna looked down at the bird gigantic bird amazed. People were looking up at her and her pet whilst she flew through the sky.

Asuna opened her friends list and clicked on Payne's name. She sent him a message asking him to tell her where he is. Payne sent her the location and Asuna quickly flew towards that direction with her bird.

She reached a building. There was a bee carved into the door of the building. She looked down at the building. The building was made of bricks and the door was made of wood. There was a circle in the middle of the wooden door and the bee was carved inside the circle.

"This must be it. You would have to put the bee in the door in order to buy it! This game is becoming interesting!" Asuna screamed raising her hands in the process.

The sound of a door opening echoed in Asuna's ears. Asuna stopped what she was doing and quickly looked at the person standing at the door. She used her {MEGAMORPH} skill to make her pet return to it's normal size. Asuna landed on her feet carefully. She then used her {HIBERNATE} skill to make her pet disappear.

A girl appeared from behind the wooden door. She had blonde hair with brown eyes. There was a staff behind her.

Asuna pointed at her. "Who are you?!"

The girl frowned. "YOU ARE IN FRONT OF MY GUILD HOUSE AND YOU ARE ASKING ME WHO I AM?! The girl screamed making Asuna cover her ears.

"Ok...ok calm down." Asuna said. The girl was looking at Asuna angrily.

Seeing the girl quiet, Asuna removed her hands from her ears. She walked towards the girl and put her hand on her shoulder.

"What do you want?" The girl said trying to be calm. Two people came into view from behind the girl Asuna was talking to earlier.

"What is happening?" The guy with the brown hair questioned looking down at Asuna and the girl because they both were short.

"Um, I was just asking this girl who she is and she became angry for no reason." Asuna said shrugging. The two guys looked between Asuna and the girl staring at each other. Asuna was grinning whilst the girl was frowning.

"Well, the reason for me coming here...is to meet Payne." Asuna said looking at the guys.

"Payne? You know him?" The guy in the green cloak asked. "I have never seen him socialize before."

"He's in there...right" Asuna said pointing to the guild house. She completely ignored them and moved past them to peek inside the guild house.

"Hey! At least introduce yourself." The guy in the green cloak said in disbelief.

"Lisa." Asuna said with her left hand raised. She looked at all of them to see they were staring at her. "[Weirdos]" Asuna thought. She opened her friends list and sent a message to Payne. The message was that she had reached the location he gave to her and that some weirdos are also there.

"What are you doing?" The guy with the brown hair asked.

"Chatting with one of my friends." She said and pointed to them again. "What are you? Telling me to introduce myself to you and you are just standing there looking at me like a dummy." They looked at Asuna disappointed after hearing what she said.

"OK, sorry. I am Drag, this is Dread and Frederica." The guy with the brown hair now known as Drag said as he pointed to them.

Asuna closed the panel and asked them again if they knew where Payne was. They looked at her with incredulity. She noticed they were staring at her again. She was about to say something when a panel popped up in front of her.

WHISPER

Payne - I have added you, you can now enter.

Immediately after reading the message Asuna made her way into the guild house.

"Hey wait!" The girl, Frederica called after her.
