Normal day in the academy

A few weeks passed, and in the abyss was a demon sitting on a tree stump. He had red skin and was wearing leather armor. But the most eye-catching was the massive pair of wings on his back and the tail that sometimes wagged slightly behind him.

This is Ben, after he woke up he was now considerably stronger and slaying the low-rank demons was now a piece of cake, so he was looking for a gate to the middle abyss, but that was easier said than done.

Ben had explored the nearby area for three days now but couldn't find it, so he was thinking about in which direction he should go. Ben stood up and with a mighty beat of his wings, he flew off into the direction of a volcano. As he flew, he saw many demons on the ground; some were even looking up at him and growled. But then he discovered a bizarre scene a demon stood in front of a hole and looked down before it jumped down.

So Ben landed near the hole to examine it personally; it couldn't be that this demon killed itself, right? He decided that he would try, so he jumped. Suddenly the air felt heavier and he fell faster. When Ben could finally see the ground, he spread his wings to stop the fall. As he reached the ground, he took a look around. This place was more sinister, but gravity felt stronger; it was heaving him down. Ben also discovers the little demon from before and follows it to a hot spring. He instantly got into the water Ben knew this was a zone where demons don't fight. It felt excellent!

"AAAAAHHHH! I actually prefer to shower but this is what I needed!" Ben said.

Meanwhile in heaven.

A group of around 15 angels were standing in front of the academy with a bald four-winged angel in front of them.

"Next is Mia!" Hariel said after looking at his clipboard.

Excitedly Mia stepped out of the group and stepped on a mark.

"Ready? GO!" The man said loudly.

She flew off, beating her wings hard. She flew into the direction of some trees where balloons were attached to, coming closer, she drew her sword and slashed the first one turned to the right, and stabbed the second, which popped with a loud bang. She took a U-turn, cut the line of the third one twirled around, flew back to the school, and up to the roof, where she quickly cast a spell to light up a magic crystal. Flying in a loop, she flew up and slashed the third balloon, which lines she had cut off, and back to the mark.

"Mia 3 minutes 34 seconds!" Hariel said.

"YEEEEES! I told you you are going to make it!"

A tall blonde angel came running to hug Mia.

"AH!" Mia yelled out as the girl quickly let go of her again.

"One day you surely will suffocate me with those two weapons Aniela"! Mia said, pointing at Angela's chest.

"Mia! Wow, you were nearly as fast as Aniela! If only i were so skilled at that!" A girl with long jet-black hair said.

"Yofie!" Mia said as she hugged the small angel.

"First you befriended our academy's best angel and then you are nearly as good as her even in wingball." Yofie sighed.

The three girls were merely chatting for the rest of the tests because all three of them already had their turn.

After magic classes, they were sitting in the canteen together, chatting, giggling, and sharing their food. This has presently has become routine.

Yofie is sitting right next to Mia in the magic class, so it didn't take long for them to become friends. She just saw the two on Mia's first day and thought that Aniela was bullying Mia, but then she witnessed them merely chatting and fooling around with balloons. So she asked Mia in the classroom, and Mia just happily invited her to join them to get something to eat.

Presently the three of them were sitting in Mia's room talking about this and that while Mia was holding onto her new stuffed animal that had the shape of a white-winged tiger and Aniela was inflating a huge balloon.

"Yesterday i heard Lord Hariel talking about a high-rank demon invading a world," Yofie said looking worried.

Simultaneously, Aniela's balloon grew bigger and bigger.

"His name was Ulgor or Ulgon and he killed many humans, elves and dwarfs. This is scary we maybe have to fight against such demons soon."

*BANG* Balloon shreds flew everywhere.

"Damn it Ani! You should focus more on what you are doing " Mia yelled, but Aniela was only laughing.

"It wasn't a mistake!" She winked.

"Don't worry Yofie i will assist you train and then you will kick some demon butts!" Mia said confidently raising her chin.

"HAHAHA! Sorry but saying that while hugging a plushy doesn't sound very convincing!" Aniela pointed out while laughing.
