I still laid quietly on Kor El's chest with the sheets above my chest. I listened to his heartbeat, it was unusual, it had three beats and one smaller beat... Went like dum dum dum- dum, dum dum dum- dum

"Hmmm" I sighed then picked up my fake nose and put it on, I needed to prepare for classes

"Morning peach. Finally decided to make some noise huh?" He said and gripped my waist tighter.

"Mmhm. Why does your heartbeat sound like it's playing an intro for a rock song." I said and chuckled a little

"Whaaattt?" He said and swiftly changed positions that I straddled him while his hands rested on my hips.

"Ha! It's true though!" I said and he just shook his head and looked away. "Awww did I hurt the big bad wolf's feelings? Aww here let me give you a little kiss to make up for what I said."

"A kiss won't change it." He said and looked at me with those emerald eyes that I was once so scared of.
