"Why isn't Kimberly picking-up her phone?" Socorro questioned As they entered the kitchen.

Suddenly, "Coconut, Now that we are kind of alone, I mean this is a gigantic house, but I'm sure we'll bump into the others sooner rather than later.

But in the meantime, why don't we stop for a small talk.

I wanna know why you choose searching for Kimberly." Matilda questioned.

"You want the nice answer or the real one?" Socorro asked confusing Matilda.

"Umm...The real one?" Matilda replied.

"The truth is, I don't care about Grey.

Fernando and I are mortal enemies, and Rapunzel sounds like bad news, which pretty much leads to Kimberly being the only person, I'm willing to search for." Socorro replied.

Curious, "Umm You mean like you don't care what happens to the others, at all?" Matilda asked.

"Maybe I'm a little worried about Fernando which is ironic given the fact that the guy killed me and the people I care About in my past life, but I want to give him the benefit of a doubt in this life."

"Really? you wanna give Fernando the benefit of a doubt?"

"Pumpkin, It's just that...*Sighing* I'm not going to lie, I kind of missed fighting with Fernando back when he was in Aroon's body.

I liked those back and forth arguments." Socorro replied.

"You're joking, right coconut?" Matilda asked.

"That I missed fighting with him? no." Socorro said nonchalantly.

"Umm, Nevermind...So Kimberly! do you care about her?" Matilda asked, "I can't tell if things between you and Kimberly are better now, I never asked how's your relationship going especially after the whole Madam Shanice thing." She added.

"Care is a big word, Kimberly and I have to be friends since she is working on that movie with us.

The movie that we keep on postponing, because shit happens when you're friends with the Valentinos." Socorro replied.

"You mean you don't consider Kim as your friend."

"Kimberly...Norma... whatever the name, she's a very sweet girl, so friendly, adorable and kind which is why I actually despise her."

Surprised, "You hate her?" Matilda asked.

Annoyed, "I do actually, I can't stand her, and that's because I'm jealous of her...how can I be friends with someone I'm jealous of!"

I might be a person of formidable skills and intelligence, but my skills get me nowhere when it comes to people, I mean look at what i did to you!

Kimberly is so caring and nice to everyone, she makes friends effortlessly and she's a really good person, and she's more talented than me.

Also she's stupidly kind, reminds me of Muriel with how kind she is I mean, She tried to help us get back together when I tried to break our bond, even though she obviously had a crush on you for the second time!

No girl would help her love rival like that! there's nothing for her to win from helping us!" Socorro replied.

"Did Muriel adopt his children because there was something to gain from it? why is it so difficult for people to understand that Kindness doesn't necessarily have to come from a selfish place!" Matilda said, "No offense Pumpkin, but you instantly suspected that Lady Orange was being selfish while she acted nice towards you.

You didn't give your own mother the benefit of a doubt!" Socorro replied.

Scoffing, "That's different! and you know that!" Matilda replied back.

Sensing Matilda's anger, "Okay, I'm sorry..I shouldn't have said that but the point is, I stand by what I've said before...you deserve someone better than me Matilda, someone good like Kimberly." Socorro said.

"And I also stand by what I've said before, that I deserve what you deserve...Love." Matilda replied.

"I'm not good for you, I don't have it in my system to be that good! I failed to be good even to the people that are good to me." Socorro said.

"Well, too bad... We're stuck together forever, we're mates!" Matilda replied smiling a little, "You know...I believe you're a good person coconut because if not, Muriel wouldn't keep you so close by his side." She added.

"What do you mean?"

"Coconut, you were always willing to sacrifice your time, comforts and sleep, anything for Muriel's sake back in Derora, and probably now too!

You were also kind towards the young princes when you didn't have to."

"To be fair, I had to be good to them, Muriel was the king and he was my boss even now! besides I owed him for offering me the job of a lifetime back then." Socorro replied, "But you did end-up selflessly caring about Muriel eventually, right?" Matilda asked.

Sighing in defeat, "Yeah...I did." Socorro replied making Matilda smile.

"Hmm....Now that I think about it, I don't think Either you or Muriel ever told me the story of how you two met back in Derora." Matilda said.

"Really? we didn't ?"

"Remember coconut, we weren't that close back then, not until we mated that we started talking more openly."

"I see, so...You want to hear the story?" Socorro asked.

The sun began to set on a small garden surrounding A small shop with a wooden sign that stood above it, saying 'The Fairy Cottage Hair& beauty salon'.

The salon was about to close as all workers left, except for one.

Socorro was the only hairdresser left in the shop, and it was time to clean so she grabbed the broom and began sweeping the floor, when she suddenly noticed through the window, a figure standing outside the shop.

Opening the door, Socorro decided to get closer, "Umm...Welcome to The Fairy Cottage, How can I help you?" She asked nervously, but her nervousness started to fade as she quickly became fascinated by the beauty of the figure in front of her, especially their long shiny blonde hair.

"You seem to be in the middle of closing...i should probably leave now." Muriel replied.

Seeing how well dressed the person was, Socorro correctly assumed Muriel was possibly a wealthy noble, but she also noticed something else.

His eyes were puffy and red, so she figure he was just done crying.

Taking a deep breath, she stopped him and smiled, "No please stay Ma'am! and you're welcome! it's true that the shop generally closes during sunset but Due to personal reasons, I'm currently living here in the shop.

The owner said that I'm free to work afterhours as long as I take good care of the shop afterwards." Socorro said chuckling nervously, "Sounds like the owner trusts you." Muriel replied.

"They are a dear friend of my Nana, Btw You're not from around here are you?" Socorro asked.

"No, I am not... and I am a man actually." Muriel replied smiling.

"Oh! you totally had me fooled sir!...Umm, are you an omega? I'm a beta woman...so no need to be... afraid of me, heh." Socorro said nervously.

"Yes, I am an omega...and, Are you nervous? you seem So." Muriel asked.

Obviously nervous,"Who? me...no!...Umm maybe a little, heh." Socorro replied.

Chuckling, "How cute! well no need to be nervous around me." Muriel said before he sighed, "Honestly, I stopped by because I have heard about this place from a local few hours ago, they say it is the best in town, especially when a certain 'Nervous' reddish-brown haired woman is working.

And I thought I should get a Total makeover hoping it will help me, feel better.

As you can see, i just had a mental breakdown." Muriel said feeling so embarrassed, he lowered his eyes.

"Oh wow! you need someone to talk to!

And lucky you, I'm not a judgy kinda person, nor I share people's secrets, so you're completely safe here with me...So if you want to empty your heart, I could do you your little makeover while we talk." Socorro suggested.

"Really? Is it okay with you?" Muriel asked.

"Yeah! come inside!" Socorro replied gesturing with her hands, "Thank you." Muriel said going inside the shop, he then took a seat while Socorro grabbed her equipment.

As she stood behind Muriel, "Who's the asshole who broke your heart?!" Socorro asked suddenly.

Surprised, "You already figured it was a Love issue!" Muriel said.

"I had lots of customers who came for a makeover after a bad break-up, to feel better, which is understandable!" She replied smiling at him through the mirror in front of them, "So, tell me about the asshole."

"Ah...we were almost getting married and this Asshole ex-fiance of mine, who works for me btw! cheated on me with another guy who also works for me."

"EXC-FUCKING-USE ME?!" Socorro shouted in disbelief, "YES! That was my reaction too! it was so unbelievable, so i annulled our engagement, and fired both of them at the spot.

And btw, my ex-fiance and I, we had kids together while we were dating." Muriel added.

"That MOTHERFUCKER! he cheated on you when you risked your life to have his babies?!" Socorro replied making Muriel laugh.

"So you met shortly after the butler-scandal?" Matilda asked, "Yeah, why?" Socorro asked back.

"Wait, I think I might know something about this coconut!"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, Mallory wasn't the only one known for running away when she's in trouble.

Muriel did that too sometimes, though he always comes back by the end of the same day! but It happened so that right after what happened with Leonard, he ran away and caused panic in the palace." Matilda explained.

"I don't understand? Why the panic if people knew he had a habit of running and coming back the same day?" Socorro said, "Because that time he didn't just run away, Muriel left a suicide note and took a gun with him! he apparently wanted to find the perfect place to die!" Matilda replied.

"WHAT?! How come I don't know of this?!" Socorro was surprised, "Muriel kept it a secret from you, obviously.

Anyways, as I was saying...For few days we kept looking for him outside the palace, Until one day Muriel showed-up back in his own his office, alive.

Muriel explained that he had a sudden change of heart after he had a talk with a friend he made while on the run, but he never mentioned who that friend was!" Matilda said smiling big.

Scoffing, "Now hold on a sec, you don't think I talked him out of suicide? I didn't even know he was gonna kill himself when he came to the shop!" Socorro questioned.

"But I think you did!... Coconut, Muriel wasn't coming back, but then suddenly he's back alive with a much better spirit, and afterwards he hired you, a New assistant!

Even though he swore that he'd never get an assistant again!" Matilda replied.

"I don't think I helped him, but if that's the case...does that mean I wasn't hired cuz I was good for the job?" Socorro asked.

"No, you were and still are Worthy of your job, as for why he backed on suicide, I think Maybe Muriel was really touched by your offer to listen without judging him.

Most of who knew about the butler, blamed and mocked Muriel for what happened, but you Coconut was one of the few of Us, who believed that Muriel was the victim in that relationship.

I think you really saved his life!" Matilda said.

"That's ridiculous, I doubt I saved his life!" Socorro replied.

"Since he has his memories back, how about we ask Muriel later? I'm sure he will collaborate my story!" Matilda said.

"Oh Yeah? Well get ready to be disappointed Pumpkin...Anyway let's get back to looking for Kimberly." Socorro replied.

"After you." Matilda said gesturing with her hand for Socorro to walk in front of her.
