"So Kowa?" Ned wondered, "Yes she is currently in Yuri's office, you might need to talk with this woman...Now excuse me, I need some fresh air myself." Lady Orange said before leaving the living room, she has just explained to Ned about Kowa.

"This is too much confusion for me, And since you guys don't wanna explain what's wrong with my brother, I'm gonna go and check on Grey instead." Fernando said.

"Grey? why?" Ned asked, "I'll try to see if I can find out how he ended-up in the same room as his dead brother." Fernando replied.

"I'll come with you!" Nashoba said, "No need for that." Fernando replied firmly before leaving.

Suddenly, "Omg! Choco and Luna! we forgot to feed them!" Jade said, "I haven't seen those furrballs since my talk with Garrick this morning." Matilda said.

"Your pets? I think I've seen them earlier, I'll go feed them myself." Nashoba replied before he left too.

"Do you honestly believe Rapunzel was tricked?" Henrietta asked grabbing the rest's attention, Ned has ordered Rapunzel when they arrived to free her, so now she was sitting with them.

"It can't be real, I got tricked? what about All the things he made me do because I believed he actually saved my life?!" Rapunzel questioned.

"Whether you were tricked or not, it's not your fault that you're in this situation, it's that man's fault.

However what you've been doing for the past few days, from messing with my friends to attacking Henrietta, is all your fault, it was obvious you were not controlled by anyone when making those decisions." Garrick replied.

"What I still don't understand, is how the hell does Ned's father know all of this ?it's obvious that he knows too much!" Socorro said.

"Ned cut his father off the moment he moved out of the house and came to live with me back in Derora, So I myself don't understand how he knows these things." Matilda said.

"The 'how' is a mystery to me too, but my father is a man with many tricks up his sleeves..." Ned replied.

"Still, You should know something! you're his son, you recognized those shackles." Henrietta said.

"Don't force him to talk about that monster!" Jade butted in, "You guys have no idea what kind of hell he made our mother live in." she added.

"But we don't have other choices? it's not like we can rely on Rapunzel, she obviously doesn't know much about the man, he played her and had her shackled!" Henrietta said.

"How do you feel about talking about your own parents, Henrietta." Jasper said while angrily walking into the living room.

"Jasper, How's Faunus?" Ned asked, "He refuses to talk to me, he went to his house and Yurei and Tacito are trying to comfort him now.

Apparently he doesn't want 'My' comfort." Jasper replied.

"Why would he talk to them and not you?" Jade asked, "Beats me...the only thing I know, is that I'm even more angrier now than I was when I found him crying earlier.

So if any of you here try to test your luck with me, just know it's gonna be bad luck." Jasper replied while sitting beside his sister.

"Don't take it the wrong way, I'm not trying to hurt Ned, i just wanna know if he has any information about his dad that's relevant to what we're dealing with right now." Henrietta said.

"I actually know a little about those shackles..." Ned spoke-up.

"Can you tell us?" Matilda asked.

Nodding, "When I was 10, I got into trouble with my father for leaving the house and not returning before my curfew.

I think my father's biggest fear at the time, was for me to leave him the same way my mother did, so when I missed the curfew he completely abolished the curfew thing and banned me from leaving the house, unless it's for school or anywhere where he can monitor me.

He took away my freedom by not letting me go outside, but it was obvious that wasn't enough for him...I believe he was making those shackles for me." Ned said

"These shackles, they make people obey your father right?" Garrick asked.

"I think so...the very first time I've seen them, was by accident.

My dad had to leave for few days, he couldn't take me with him since I have fallen ill, I was feverish...because prior to his trip I accidentally said something he didn't like, so as punishment he made me sleep in the balcony, and I got sick." Ned said.

"I'm sorry what?!" Garrick said surprised, "I got the image that you were abused by your father long ago...So I suppose my mother and your father are so much alike.

My mom used to make me sleep standing in closet whenever I angered her." Socorro said casually, making Matilda's Jaw drop.

"Yeah...however lucky me at the time, since I was sick, he appointed a certain Manservant to take care of me, only that servant was allowed to my room." Ned said, "He didn't let other servants...serve you?" Henrietta asked, "No, My father must've been afraid they would discover what he was doing to me, and somehow Expose him." Ned explained.

"Anyways, this Servant was applying some cold compresses on my forehead when I caught a glimpse of something from underneath his sleeves, so out of curiosity I reached for his hand, and he didn't stop me as I pulled-up his sleeve.

He had the same 'cuff bracelets' as the ones Rapunzel wears, At the time I thought he might've been my father's lover or something and that my father must've gifted him a bracelet with rubies on them...so I asked him whether he's with my father..."

"What did he say?" Rapunzel asked.

"After asking him about it, he made me promise to keep it a secret then confessed that he and my father were seeing each other, but when this servant accidentally discovered my father's real nature, he tried to leave him.

So my Father gave the servant these bracelets as a goodbye gift, and out of courtesy The servant wore them, but soon realize he has fallen straight into my father's trap.

Those Bracelets were unremovable, and they binded him to my dad, if he were to leave him, my father can kill him through those bracelets." Ned explained.

"So you're telling me he can kill Rapunzel, any moment he wants to?" Henrietta asked, "I suppose it's either that the earrings Rapunzel took from Tacito are protecting her, or they're not and my father is just not trying to kill her yet." Ned replied.

"When I woke-up that day, and he told me how he saved my life, he asked me to wear those bracelets as insurance that I wouldn't run away from him...he seemed like a shitty man, but I didn't think he was lying to me." Rapunzel said.

"As I lived with my father I've seen more people then that servant, Wearing these kind of bracelets...I knew it was a matter of time before my wrists would be shackled too, that's why I left." Ned replied.

"What happened to that servant?" Jade asked, "He took care of me until the day my father returned, then he killed himself." Ned replied.

"Jesus...fuck." Jasper mumbled Annoyed.

"That man is a psycho." Garrick said, "He probably experimented on those people, to find the best way to control his own son, so he could be a king." he added angrily.

"My father always fancied himself a king, it was probably the sole reason he married my mother...I'm not sure how he found out she was the hidden princess but he still did, if only he treated us right, tricked us with kindness into believing he was a good man.

Maybe we would've fallen to his scheme, and helped him become a king, but he chose to show us his real nature from the beginning, and as much as I feel sad that my mother had to abandon me in order to survive, I don't hold it against her." Ned replied.

"I'm sorry you went through all of this." Henrietta said.

"I could've destroyed my father after escaping him...At least when I met Muriel as a king, I Could've tried to take vengeance against my father through Muriel.

I was an idiot for choosing to forgive him, I was terrified that I'd turn into him If I came after him." Ned said.

"Mom you're nothing like him." Jade said, "Then maybe I am like my mother, I wasn't there when my children needed me the most." Ned said.

"What happened to me and Jade when we were teenagers, is not your fault, we don't hate you for that...

You didn't abandon us, you were just out working and if anything it's thanks to all that work, that Jade and I always had the best care we could possibly ask for.

And even though you've raised us to be always on Justice's side, I put you and so many unfortunate families through hell, when I Allowed Edward to get away with everything he did in the past.

Back then I was so selfish, I didn't understand what I was doing, I just wanted the whole thing to go away, but afterwards I realized what I've done, and the fact that I stripped Away so many people from a Justice they very much deserved.

I regretted that deal every single day of my life, you wanted Edward to pay for his crimes but I threatened that I would kill myself so you backed away." Jasper said, "I understand that your parents made you go through hell, and I don't want to sound rude saying that but being raised by a villain may have been the reason why you are such a great mother." He added.

"Jasper..." Ned said while looking at his son's serious expression, "If I were to be born again, I want to be born again as your son.

I would choose you over any other parent in the world, you're not like my grandmother you're nowhere close to being my grandfather.

Ned Valentino, You Are my smart strong beautiful and kind mother, and for the past 60 years, you have been a constant inspiration to me." Jasper said blushing as he felt embarrassed to say all of these things out loud.

Garrick suddenly started to feel a great deal of happiness through his bond, Ned's eyes were willing-up with tears but they were tears of joy, he was feeling so happy and proud of himself for having Jasper as his son.

But, "Omg!" Jade started tearing-up first instead, "That was so beautiful!" she cried out.

Chuckling, "You're right...it was." Ned said sniffing so he wouldn't cry, "Can I get a hug?" He asked Jasper who nodded and went to hug him.

...Meanwhile...

"Where could the kitten and the puppy be?!" Nashoba was busy trying to locate Choco and Luna when he passed by a specific room, Grey's room.

He stopped as he heard weird noises coming from inside, "Didn't Fernando say he would be checking on Grey? Are they fighting?" Nashoba wondered, then he remembered something, There's a key hole, big enough to catch a glance.

Lot's of Ned's rooms required a key card, but not the guest rooms.

So Putting his ethics aside, Nashoba's curiosity won, he decided to peep into the hole.

"Huh?!" His whole face flushed red and his jaw hanged as he saw what he believed was Fernando and Grey Doing the Devil's dance, realizing that the weird noises he heard were their moaning.

The sight surprised him, Nashoba found himself backing away, but then he remembered when Ned brought the others with him to the wine cellar, and how Fernando smiled as a reaction to Edward's dead body.

"What the hell is going on?!" Nashoba asked himself.
