"So that's why you're here? Aroon was planning to get Jasper with him and Jasper asked you and Soco to come along?" Thorn said.

Nodding "Yes, I had no idea you were going to be here Thorn...And, I do not know whether Jasper had left that information out on purpose or not." Muriel replied.

"I think it's a pretty nice coincidence, I got to see your hair in a bun Muri, I always love how different your hairstyles are everytime I see you."

"That is Thanks to Socorro, she took time to do my hair in this French Braid Bun...I do like your hair too as well Thorn, this Slick-Back style suits you."

"What do you mean? *chuckles* my hair is always slicked back!" Thorn replied smiling while shaking his head, it caused the red drop earring on his left ear to start dangling a little.

"True, but I always wanted to say that, say that you look better with each time we meet..." A blushing Muriel replied while watching the earring go back and forth slowly, until it eventually stopped.

"I'm glad you still think I look good Muriel, even with my thick framed glasses on."

"I do not understand why people think wearing glasses makes you suddenly ugly! in your case, they make you look serious but not any less...well, Attractive."

Chuckling, Thorn shook his head again, "I never understood why people don't mind their business, people are weird...I remember when a teacher in highschool punished me for being left handed, she said I was unclean and possessed by the devil for it.

I also remember how funny it was when she got kicked out of the school the next day." he said, smiling at the memory as he fiddled with his watch.

"People are weird indeed! everyone assumes I am a woman and treat me as such, I never correct them because when I used to do so and they would figure out I was a man, they would criticize the way I dressed.

Sometimes there is those who know I am an Omega man, so they think it is normal to dress this way because of that, but these very same people, often treat me as if I am labeled fragile on my body.

Sometimes they try to 'put me back in my place' or so they call it...saying I do not belong in the world of business, where alphas rule, because I am an omega.

The only times people went out of their way to be nice to me Aside from Coco, Neddie and his entourage, was to either get into my wallet or my bed." Muriel said while glancing at Socorro who noticed him and smiled his way to encourage him.

" I'm Not So different either, people always come by when they need something, but I find nobody to go to when I need something myself...well, when we had our short fling, it felt like the situation changed a little, I had you for a while." Thorn replied.

"I know, I am sorry for how I treated you earlier Thorn."

"What caused it? your outburst, if it wasn't me then what was it?"

"I think I found my mate..." Muriel said shyly.

Thorn blinked for a moment, he looked at Muriel in confusion, "Mate? you mean the legend? like a life long partner? with mating marks and everything?" he questioned.

"Yes, That legend, it is not really a legend..." Muriel replied.

"Who is he then? Your mate?" Thorn replied a bit sad, of course it's not going to be him he thought.

Thorn's chest started aching at the thought, but he continued smiling at Muriel despite that, he felt Muriel's excitement and didn't wish to demolish it.

"Someone who's very kind and selfless, patient despite how I treat him, he is handsome with a smile so bright that it enlightens the whole room...Says and does dumb things most of the time that drives me crazy, especially with how happy-go-lucky he can be, he's never serious when I need him to be." Muriel spoke smiling as well, but he was feeling actually very happy.

Butterflies invaded his stomach the more he thought about it, his situation wasn't so bad after all.

"Whomever he is, he's a lucky guy, I'm really jealous, no wonder you were mad at me, you wanted to be with him...is he good to you at least?" Thorn asked.

"Yes, he is so good to me, even when I slapped him across the face today."

"Huh?" pausing for a moment, Thorn looked Muriel in his eyes puzzled, "You're not talking about me are you?"

The blonde giggled at the oblivious Thorn, "As if I go around slapping people left and right Dummy!... look down here." Muriel said pointing to something underneath the table, Thorn tilted his head to look down where Muriel pointed.

The blonde has taken his left shoe off, showing off His foot, an obvious snake mark was glowing underneath the table.

"I knew it was you the moment I saw the snake mark...

The next day after we started our secret late night rendezvous, this mark appeared on my foot...aside from the fact it's glowing near you, you were the only one I knew Who is so into lizards and such thing, And the mark kind of reminded me of 'Ivy' your pet snake." Muriel explained.

His heart started beating fast, "But this is impossible, then where is my mark?!" Thorn asked.

" Maybe you did not notice it, I did not notice it too despite seeing you naked before.

Ned said that sometimes marks don't appear in noticable places, we can find it together, later."

"This isn't a joke right?"

"No silly?! why would I lie to you, you saw the mark glowing yourself."

" Muriel I'm going to fucking cry right now, you're telling me we're mates, like soulmates, for real?!" Thorn spoke trembling, he was still in disbelief, this was a dream come true to him.

"If I told you the other news, would you faint then? haha!" Muriel replied laughing, " What other news? there's more? my boi you're still going?!" Thorn asked.

"Yes, here! I need you to see this paper, it is an Eviction Notice, the date should be around Less than 9 months from now." Muriel said handing Thorn an envelope.

"What are you talking about now?! Eviction Notice for who?" a confused Thorn said as he took the envelope in his hand.

When he opened it, Thorn found a document and some pictures, "Those blurry images are the ultrasound photos of the concerned tenant, this eviction notice is for your bloody child I am carrying you lovable dimwit!" Muriel said before bursting into laughter at his own joke.

"WHAT?!" Thorn stood up from his seat, finally understanding the joke as he stared at the pictures, to him he just witnessed a miracle.

On the other side, Lucius was nervous, he saw how Thorn got up in that hasty manner, "Are they fighting?! should I do something about it?!" he asked leaping from his chair.

"Nooo! I bet he's just surprised! can't you hear Muriel laughing his ass off? I bet he's laughing at Thorn's reaction, not everyday a man gets to be told he's going to be a dad." Socorro replied smiling.

"Huh?! pardon me?! dad who? WHAT IS GOING ON?!" Lucius shouted, "Wanna squeeze my hand Lu? you look like you're the one being told you're going to be a father! chill!" she replied at him.

"Sorry, but this is rather unexpected."

"It's okay, just sit back Lu, let them have their moment."

Back at the table, Thorn refused to sit back, he Was still holding the pictures in utter disbelief, his eyes began to water behind his glasses.

"So? want to experience this journey with me? I am willing to go through this till the end, with you or without you...but as mates I hope...you will stay, it would be nice to have you around."

"Muriel...am I really going to be a dad? we're having a child for real? this isn't some sick prank?"

"For god's sake NO! this is authentic, 100% dear, if you do not believe me, you can come with me this time and I will have another test."

" I...oh wow...shit I'm definitely crying! this might be the best day of my entire life." Thorn said finally sitting down, he took off his glasses showing how his eyes were already puffy and red, his tears began streaming down his face.

Seeing his mate cry in joy, made Muriel's eyes water as well, he was on the edge of crying but he held himself back with a smile for Thorn's sake.

"Let us go somewhere else, right now! I know a spot... and I want to be there with you, Just the two of us and no one else." he said holding Thorn's hand in his.

"I love you Muriel, you know that." Thorn replied bringing Muriel's hand closer to his lips, he placed a kiss on the back of his mate's hand causing Muriel to giggle.

"I know...I love you too." Muriel said, he kept his hand intertwined with Thorn's as the two got up and walked to a beaming Socorro and a still confused Lucius.

" Coco, I will be taking tomorrow off, you can keep my car with you until I go back." Muriel spoke handing his car keys to Socorro.

"Me too Lucius, I'll also take tomorrow's off." Thorn Said smiling so big that his puffy eyes disappeared momentarily.

Before any of the assistants get a chance to protest this sudden impulsive decision, the pair of New lovers ran for the door, laughing together as they did so.

"What... just happened mate?" Lucius asked, he found himself smiling involuntarily, "Something adorable, I'm kinda jealous!" Socorro replied playing with the keys in her hand.

She glanced over at Lucius, and noticed a hint of disappointment in his face despite his smile, "What's bothering you?" she asked, "I was praying that this is how my Night ends, I really wanted to hold his hand." he replied.

she raised an eyebrow, "Whose hand? wait you mean Muriel?"

"No, I was hoping for that pink hair assistant, Aroon...that silly boss of mine, Thorn organized all of this to help me get to know Aroon, or so I thought..he stole my thunder."

"Aroon? Aroon Tar? you like Ned's assistant?"

"Yes Aroon? is it weird? does he has a lover already?"

"It's not weird, Aroon is a good guy overall but I think he's got someone already.

In the short period I have been around him, guys and girls fell for him, but I never saw him go beyond flirting with them.

if your aim is to date him, dear Lu..." Socorro said patting Lucius's shoulder, "Then You have lotta of work to do." she added patting him again.

"Will you help me? I really want to get to know him." Lucius asked.

"Time to see if this cover is better than the original." Socorro said snickering.

"This is a karaoke version, don't expect a good one." Lucius replied nervously, while heading for the stage.
