21. Taking a Break

I spent the next two days at the forest lodge and did not venture out. Balu was an excellent cook and prepared multiple specialties over the two days. Madhavan, Cheeran, and Komban visited twice, on their way to the village and back to the town with supplies.

Balu and friends also spent the afternoons preparing and rehearsing for their next performance. They made changes to the script, dialogues, and some scenes in their quest for perfection. I spent a lot of time on the veranda, having tea and coffee from the stash of powders that Balu had maintained.
