Breakfast discussion

After his talk with Yuuka, Kaneki continued to drive to Hokkaido while everyone is sleeping.

August 2, 2042*

6:50 A.M*

It's the next day of the Expedition it should be time for breakfast but because everyone is sleeping Kaneki decided to wake them up.

Kaneki: good everything is set up already now I just need to wake them up. Well here we go. EVERYONE WAKE UP!

Kaneki yelled very loudly.

Everyone: AAAAHHHH!

Kaneki: good, everyone is up c'mon guys let's eat.

Everyone then got off the Van and sat down on to eat. although everyone wasn't too happy with how Kaneki woke them up.

Ryueki: why are you yelling so early in the morning?!

Kaneki: how else can I wake you guys up?

Ryueki: you could've just used the horn!

Kaneki: sigh~

Kaneki got back into the van and he hit the horn button.

BLASSSST!*

The horn was very loud.

Ryueki: what was that?!

Kaneki: that was my horn, if I used it you guys might've got a heart attack.

Sachi: I see, but you could've just tapped us.

Kaneki: the only people I would want to touch is Sachi and Chi-chan the others not so much.

Chikao: I can understand that but please, next time just tap on our shoulders.

Kaneki: Yes ma'am.

They then started eating breakfast.

Yuuka: wow, we're very far from Shimotsuki now huh?

Shino: Yeah, the sea is very beautiful and that is one cool lighthouse.

Miku: Hey Higanbana-kun where are we?

Natsuki: yeah, I am quite curious where are we?

Kaneki: we're in Hokkaido island.

When he said that everyone stopped eating.

Azusa: what? How is that possible?

Itsuki: we were very far away how did we end up here in just 12 hours?!

Keiko: how is that possible?!

Sachi: wait did you used flight mode while we were sleeping?

Kaneki: yup, once you all were completely asleep I decided to use flight mode and I immediately went flying here.

Chikao: figures. You would do something like that.

Kaneki's Thoughts*

(Wow, that actually worked they believe me)

Kaneki didn't actually used flight mode.

Due to how far Hokkaido is, Kaneki knew that the expedition won't last 3 days so he decided to use one of his Demon Knight arts.

Kaneki: Sword-san you awake?

Sword-san: [yup]

Kaneki: good. Demon Knight arts, Demonic Portals.

Kaneki used Demonic Portals to go to Hokkaido very quickly.

And after he did that he found a spot to park and take his hour long nap.

Back in present time*

(If they found out I can use those portals my secret would get revealed I don't want that)

Yuuka: So what now? We're in Hokkaido but we still don't know where Akuma Castle is.

Kaneki: we need to get the Tsubaki and Higanbana flowers.

Yuuka: oh yeah! That's right!

Shino: so we're gonna go to Akuma Castle today?

Kaneki: nope.

Everyone was puzzled when Kaneki said that.

Kaneki: we will find the gate but we're not going immediately.

Keiko: how come?

Kaneki: simple, we still need rest.

Yuuka: oh yeah! That's why you asked me to book a hotel!

Everyone: what?

Ryueki: what are you talking about?

Yuuka: I had a little chat with Kaneki when I wasn't able to sleep and he did told me to book some hotel rooms right?

Kaneki: yeah, I'll do the paying.

Yuuka: are you sure?

Kaneki: yeah, so can you book two rooms? After we finish breakfast?

Yuuka: sure, but why 2 rooms?

Kaneki: obviously to separate us guys from you girls.

Ryueki: huh? Why should we be separated?

Kaneki: if I remember correctly you and Itsuki wanted to see the girls while they were changing clothes in our camping trip.

Itsuki & Ryueki: !!!

Everyone: what?!

Azusa: is that true Hayakawa-san? Itadori-san?

They both didn't respond.

Yuuka: oh my. Got it then.

Natsuki: I'm not really surprised.

Yuuka: so which hotel should get reservations for?

Kaneki: any in Hokkaido.

Yuuka: really?

Kaneki: yeah, Once we find the gate I can just use Darkness travel to bring us back to the gate.

Sachi: huh? I don't understand.

Kaneki: sigh~ Darkness travel is something like a save file, if I feel like it I can save at that spot and when I feel like it I can load up that save file to go back to it.

Sachi: oh I see.

Natsuki: what is that explanation?

Kaneki: Ithats the only way I can explain it to Sachi, although it is a very bad explanation even for save files.

Yuuka: okay, I got some reservations at this hotel for overnight stays is that good?

Kaneki: yup. Anyways, there's a few stuff we have to do before we find that gate.

Emi: like what?

Kaneki: the contract that you all have to agree with or else I'm sending you guys back to Shimotsuki with Darkness travel.

Yuuka: oh that contract. I was afraid you forgotten.

Kaneki: like hell I'll forget something that important. Anyways Itsuki, Keiko I need you two to get us some more water I'll give you two money to buy them later.

Itsuki: sure but why?

Keiko: our water is running out look.

Itsuki looked at their water supply.

Itsuki: oh yeah.

Kaneki: Itadori you and Emi-kun will watch over the Insect Familiars.

Itadori: Huh?! Why?!

Kaneki: the Insect Familiars can't protect the van by themselves.

Ryueki: sigh~ Emi-san let's do our best.

Emi: um okay.

Emi's thoughts*

(I don't have a good feeling about this.)

Kaneki: Sachi, Chi-chan, Shino-san, Mizutani -san, Tachibana-san, Azusa and Yuuka-san I need you girls to get some ingredients for more food. Because of how much we are for dinner yesterday and even right now as we are eating. We'll run out of food by the time we reach lunch time.

Sachi: aren't you the one eating the most?

Kaneki: blush*

Shino: there's no need to be embarrassed.

Miku: it's alright, we'll make the food too once we get back here.

Chikao: yeah! We'll make the best food!

Yuuka: but what about you Kaneki?

Kaneki: I'll go get the Tsubaki and Higanbana flowers we need to find the gate.

Yuuka: ehh... Why don't I come with you?

Kaneki: huh? Why?

Yuuka: here look.

Yuuka took our her phone to show something to Kaneki.

Kaneki: Flowers for sale Couples discount.

Yuuka: yup! If we become a fake couple again, we would get the flowers for a much cheaper price.

Kaneki: is that even alright?

Itsuki: that's actually a great idea if all of us besides for Itadori and Emi-kun does that we'll might get all the stuff for cheaper price's.

Yuuka: oi, this is only for flowers.

Itsuki: oh haha.

Yuuka: so what do you guys think?

Sachi: I think that's a great idea to be honest.

Keiko: same here.

Shino & Miku: that's a great idea, and you might actually get a lot of flowers that we can use!

Azusa: I agree, it would be the best option, and if we get more flowers our chances of finding the gate would get increased even higher.

Kaneki: the way you said it Azusa it kinda does make sense. Okay then me and Yuuka-san will get the flowers.

Yuuka: great!

Kaneki: okay everyone, any questions?

No one responded.

Kaneki: good, now... After we finish eating we do everything we need to do and find that gate.

They then continued to eat and after eating.

Kaneki: alright everyone, stay safe!

Sachi: good luck everyone!.

Keiko: let's do our best!

Emi: stay safe Azusa-chan!

Azusa went and kissed Emi on the cheek.

Azusa: stay safe

Emi: I will.

Sachi: aww cute.

Azusa: anyways, everyone let's go.

Everyone then left to do all what they need to do.
