Chapter 24 : Lab Rat Meet-Up

Naruto after being finished with the Shinobi at his hand heard a scream

It was in the opposite direction of his Team, He chose to go towards that scream and ran towards it, He left the Hidden Rain Shinobi behind and got to the source of the scream

There were two Boys who were resting as one of them had a leg injury, Naruto went next to them

Since they were not seriously injured and were just scared, Naruto did not save them and hit them in the head to make them lose their consciousness, They were from the Village Hidden in the Grass

Naruto started checking them for scrolls but found nothing

'Their last teammate must be the one holding onto the Scroll, I hope he has an Earth Scroll on him'

Naruto started looking around to look for someone nearby and after some glances with his enhanced vision he found someone close sitting all alone

On the other hand, Sasuke and Sakura were running to get far away from the Shinobi who was chasing them, Sasuke after a brief fight, they understood that this guy was not someone he was capable of defeating, They started running in the direction where Naruto had went

Their best course of action was to Re-Group, Sasuke had acknowledged Naruto's strength and the fact that he was the strongest among the three

"Huff Huff. . .Sasuke, He is still behind us, I think he may have got Naruto before coming to u-"

"That's Unlikely, Naruto fought an A-Rank Rouge Ninja and you think a Genin can do anything to him, Let's focus on our situation for now"

Sasuke had long ago acknowledged Naruto's strength to be better than him and their last mission proved that point by far, Sasuke does not like that but accepts the reality and works hard to surpass Naruto, He does not believe that Naruto could be beaten by a Genin even though the Genin they are facing is strongest they could face

Sasuke was scared, The guy chasing them right now was strong, and Sasuke wanted to just offer the scroll to his opponent to get out of this situation, He was that strong

But Naruto had the scroll so all he could do was try to keep their distance, He tried fighting and faced the consequences, His opponent knew Genjutsu, Summoning Jutsu and many more, He barely got himself away from that Big Snake which was after Sakura

As they were jumping from tree to tree, The very snake which he escaped from got right in front of them. . .No, This Snake was much bigger than the previous one

Sasuke and Sakura tried to slow themselves as the Snake opened its mouth and advanced towards them, Sakura and Sasuke jumped out of the way, The Snake went towards its master and turned around

Sasuke and Sakura turned around and saw that the Genin was now standing on the head of the Snake

The guy standing on the Snake looks at Sasuke, He licked his lips and had a creepy grin on his face which made both team 7 members uncomfortable

The Snake started to approach them but the one who was riding the snake got bit with many snakes on his face, neck, and his right arm

"[Multiple Striking Shadow Snakes Technique]" [1]

From the left of Sasuke and Sakura a Voice could be heard, It was Anko Mitarashi who just performed the Jutsu which deployed many snakes onto Orochimaru 

"Proctor?"

Sasuke was confused as to why the Proctor of the Exam would interfere Unless something was wrong

Orochimaru who got slammed to the wall with the Snakes quickly stood up while cutting the snakes from their throats and looked at Anko

"Well well, If it isn't my Successful Failure..." 

That made Anko flinch as she remembered the pain she had endured because of the Man in front of her, She jumped from the tree branch she was standing on and threw herself at Orochimaru who didn't move from his spot as he looked at her with a Senile Smile, Anko did not let that bother her and started making hand-signs while advancing towards Orochimaru

"[Fire Style: Dragon Fire Technique]"

Orochimaru seeing the Handsign waved by Anko knew which attack was about to be thrown at him, So to nullify it he used the same Jutsu

Anko and Orochimaru's Fire Style Jutsu collided which made the area in front of Sasuke and Sakura filled with fire, The intensity of those Fire Style Jutsu was not on the level that Sasuke could do

Anko jumped out of the way and got in front of the two Genins

"Why? Why are you here?"

Anko stared at Orochimaru, She despised this person standing in front of her

"My My, You sound so harsh, Aren't you glad to see me? My Lab Rat"

Orochimaru started walking towards them as the snake which he was riding on started to appear from the ground, Right below Orochimaru he made him on top of the Snake's head which advanced towards them

"Run Towards the Center of Forest"

Anko said to them and moved to the opposite of Team 7 to dodge the upcoming bite of the Snake, Team 7 moved towards the Center and Snake followed them instead of Anko, Anko wanted to see who Orochimaru was here for, and now that he picked his Target that doubt was clear

Orochimaru was behind Sasuke

"NOW!!"

When the Snake got close to Sasuke, Anko turned towards them and screamed, It was a risky move but she did not have much of a choice, She was against this plan from the start but in this situation, she could only hope for the best

As the Anko made the Signal the one who was hiding his presence this whole time ran with a greater speed towards the Snake which was advancing toward Sasuke

A loud scream of many birds chirping at the same time could be heard in the Forest which was moving at a speed that could not be seen easily with the Naked Eye

Orochimaru then noticed a Blonde kid who jumped from a Branch to the Snake, His right hand was coated with Lighting

'Chidori?!!'
