Chapter 53 - The Nine Tails brakes free

So before the chapter begins, I'll say that I'm going to begin my enlistment in the military on the 19/10 so about two weeks from now. As such, my uploads will revert back to weekly, and sometimes maybe not even that if I'll need to stay on the weekends. But anyway, I reckon that in the first month my uploads will be messy since I'll need to adapt and go through basic training.

Also, I'm contemplating launching a P̸a̴t̷r̸e̶o̶n̵ since soldiers make very little money. I think my salary will be around 200~300 USD a month and I live in one of the most costly countries in the world. Granted, they give you food as well as other necessities, but I do want to be able to buy things for myself, go out with friends from time to time, as well as save up for a trip after the military and my future in general. Anyway, it will have advanced chapters and maybe a couple more things, but I'll still upload chapters here as often as I can. Well, that's all I wanted to say, enjoy the chapter.

"...Damn," Ryu sighed as he activated his Mangekyo ability to peer inside the Hokage's tent.

Within, Naruto was being enveloped by a bubbling crimson Chakra that swirled around his body, gradually sprouting tails. Barely a minute had passed, and two tails had already emerged. Hiruzen's face contorted in pain as he prepared to subdue Naruto, his heart heavy with the weight of his duty.

With a lightning-fast kick, the Hokage sent Naruto flying far from the camp. Trees splintered and toppled as Naruto crashed through them, eventually coming to a stop a couple of kilometers away.

Hiruzen arrived at the new location, clad in his armor and accompanied by several of his Anbu. As they surveyed the scene, Naruto's body shuddered, and a third tail sprouted, each one representing his pain and anguish.

"Don't hurt him too badly!" Hiruzen commanded, springing into action alongside his Shinobi. In mere moments, they surrounded Naruto, who seemed oblivious to their presence. With a screech filled with agony, he charged at Hiruzen.

Naruto swiped at Hiruzen with his Chakra claws, but the Hokage skillfully dodged before seizing Naruto's head and slamming it into the ground, creating a small crater. Pain contorted Naruto's face, and his howls of torment echoed through the forest.

"Seal him!" Hiruzen ordered, struggling to keep Naruto pinned. But as soon as the words left his lips, a Chakra tail smashed into his ribs, sending him hurtling into a large boulder.

Hiruzen crumpled to the ground, coughing up blood. Meanwhile, a fourth tail emerged from Naruto, his Chakra no longer bubbly but darkened and more condensed. One of the Shinobi moved in behind Naruto, Kunai in hand, poised to strike. However, before she could even blink, she was obliterated by Naruto's vicious claws.

The remaining Shinobi maintained a cautious distance as they unleashed a barrage of Ninjutsu at Naruto. Fireballs, wind blades, and countless rocks rained down like bullets from a machine gun, accompanied by one or two water dragons. In response to the relentless assault, Naruto cocooned himself in his Chakra tails, shielding his body from the onslaught. The question remained: could he withstand the attack?

As Naruto was gradually buried in the ground from the force of the relentless attacks, he howled in desperation. Sadly, the barrage of Ninjutsu showed no signs of stopping, continuing to pummel him. Amidst the onslaught, a fifth tail slowly sprouted from Naruto's tailbone, and a fox-like skeleton began to form around his body.

With a deafening roar, Naruto's tails elongated many times their length as he swung them around like helicopter blades, deflecting the incoming Jutsus and striking the Shinobi casting them. The once-dense forest transformed into a clearing, with Hiruzen staring at Naruto, his trusty Monkey King staff in hand.

"Y̶̦̓o̷̪͖̿ŭ̷͔̥!̵̯͔̈ ̸̛͍͎̇I̵̝͒͊'̵̘͈̍́l̷̬͎̄l̶̗̿̿ ̴̛̗̈́͜ṇ̸͛͗ë̷͎́͊v̸̠̍ë̵͓͕ř̵̦ ̴̠̫̌͆f̶̣͝ó̴͖r̷̖̚͜g̵͓̮͂i̸̛̜̘v̷̹̔e̶̱̓͠ ̷̼́͋y̵͔͕̽̀o̵̢͌u̴̡͎͛!̸̖̑͌" Naruto hissed in a hoarse and distorted voice as a sixth tail emerged. "I'm sorry, Naruto. I had no choice..." Hiruzen spoke with sorrow in his voice, truly believing his own words.

"B̵̧̟̈́̚Ą̸̤̽̇S̴̠̪̑T̷̯̺͑̇A̶̖̅R̵̭̺͘D̸͖͂!̶̹̻͠!̸̠̆!̸̻̽" Naruto screamed at the top of his lungs before charging at Hiruzen with unparalleled speed, his Chakra-fueled limbs striking like lightning. Hiruzen, however, proved his experience by gracefully dodging the wild attacks, countering with precision strikes aimed at Naruto's weak points. Naruto became even more ferocious, his tails extending and whipping at Hiruzen with devastating force. Hiruzen swiftly expanded his staff to deflect the incoming tails, before retreating backward and simultaneously launching a barrage of fireballs with a series of lightning-quick hand seals.

Naruto, acting on pure instinct, quickly wrapped his tails around himself, forming a makeshift shield against the fiery assault. Hiruzen took advantage of Naruto's brief moment of vulnerability and charged forward, his staff shrinking to a more manageable size. He thrust the tip of the staff toward Naruto's chest, but the young ninja used his Chakra tails to propel himself into the air, narrowly avoiding the attack.

Hiruzen's staff shot at Naruot's exposed chest with incredible speed, but the latter skillfully grabbed it and jumped on top of it, using it as a runway. Thinking quickly, Hiruzen shrank his staff, positioning its edge just in front of Naruto, before enlarging and elongating it once again. The force of the action sent Naruto hurtling into another sea of trees.

As the dust settled, Hiruzen saw Naruto blocking his attack with seven Chakra tails.

As Naruto's seventh tail emerged, his body grew larger, nearly doubling in size. Unfazed by the change, Hiruzen manipulated the earth beneath Naruto, causing the ground to shift and rise, attempting to trip up the young ninja. However, Naruto's primal instincts proved to be more adaptable than Hiruzen anticipated, as he leaped from one unstable platform to another, swiftly closing the distance between them.

Hiruzen created a swirling vortex of wind with a couple of hand signs, launching it toward Naruto. The beast-like ninja countered with a powerful swipe of his Chakra claws, dispersing the wind vortex and sending a shockwave toward Hiruzen.

Thinking quickly, Hiruzen elongated his staff, using it to vault himself over the shockwave before spinning in the air, enlarging and elongating the staff at the last moment to bring it down at Naruto with incredible force and momentum.

A ground-shaking sound erupted in the area as Naruto blocked the strike by combining his tails above his head as a shield. Naruto looked upward, and a large purple sphere began to form above his open mouth. "Damn!" Hiruzen cursed as he tried to push Naruto back with his staff, but Naruto merely deflected it to the side. Before Hiruzen could attempt another strike, Naruto swallowed the fully-formed purple sphere and blasted it out of his mouth towards the Hokage.

Hiruzen couldn't react in time, and a blinding light engulfed him as he took the brunt of Naruto's attack. As the light faded, Hiruzen was barely standing, his entire body bruised and beaten. Naruto, on the other hand, seemed to suddenly grow to colossal proportions as an eighth tail emerged.

"No..." Hiruzen could only mutter weakly as orange fur began to grow over Naruto's gigantic figure. A ninth tail emerged, and Kurama was unleashed. With an earth-shattering roar, the whole village became aware of its presence, and both sides immediately sent their Shinobi to assess the situation.

"Well, I think it's about time I made my move," Ryu said as he vanished from his spot.
