Chapter 18: Sorcerer Supreme

Catherine immediately flew directly into Moryo and began to cast the first spell she would use the Mirror Dimension.

"Where am I Mortal!?" Moryo asked in an angered voice.

"Inside of an alternate dimension known as the Mirror Dimension, one where our battle will not influence the outside world." Catherine spoke calmly.

"Send me back now and I will allow you to serve me until your death, resist and I will annihilate you!" Moryo threatened.

"You said like a half-baked villain." Catherine said with an exasperated expression.

"DIE!!" Moryo said in anger as one of his heads lunged toward Catherine's direction.

Catherine responded by casting a spell she had begun preparing to use since she cast the Mirror Dimension.

"By the Bolts of Balthakk!!" she shouted as lightning coated her hands and hit the head that lunged at her, destroying it completely.

Catherine was stunned at the destructive power of the spell as she thought 'If that's how powerful the spell is with my personal mana, I'd hate to see how strong it is when using dimensional energies.

She then turned her attention back to the battle as she saw Moryo sending many tentacles at her.

"May the Shield of the Seraphim protect me!" Catherine said as a green shield appeared in front of her and blocked them.

She then decided to go on the offensive as she cast the first spell that she could use for the attack.

"I call upon the Icy Tendrils of Ikthalon!!" she yelled as the extreme cold began to freeze the tendrils of Moryo as well as spread further up.

"Tch." Moryo clicked his teeth as he cut off his own tendrils to prevent the ice from spreading any further.

"You've shown me something that I have never seen before, Mortal. If you repent for your actions and join me now, I can allow you to join me on my conquest." Moryo said in a proud tone.

"I'm afraid I would like to decline." Catherine politely replied though she was caught off guard by the large amount of darkness surrounding her, making her lose her ability to see.

"Foolish Mortal, enjoy your suffering and misery as I force you to watch as I destroy your world completely before extracting your soul from you." Moryo said while laughing at her.

"If you believe that this will be enough to defeat me, then I'm afraid I gave you too much credit Moryo." Catherine said before opening the Eye of Agamotto.

"Eye of Agamotto! I implore you to see past this mere illusion and reveal to me the truth that lies beyond it!!"

The darkness that surrounded her dispelled as her vision returned, while Moryo was left in shock that she was able to dispel his darkness.

"How is that possible!!!" Moryo asked in shock.

"Nothing is impossible for a Master of the Mystic Arts!" Catherine said before she began to cast spells in quick succession.

"Images of Ikkon!!" she yelled first as 10 of her appeared and surrounded Moryo from all directions.

"Crimson Bands of Cyttorak!!" she then said as crimson bands appeared on each of her hands and bound all the hands and tendrils of Moryo.

"And now let the Whirling Winds of Watoomb rise from the nether regions...to carry you back from whence you came!" she finished her combination as large amounts of mystical air currents appeared on all of her hands and completely bombarded Moryo, finishing him off.

Moryo fell completely to the ground defeated, with him only able to utter out a few words before his inevitable end.

"Who are you!?"

Catherine responded back in a calm manner while the Eye of Agamotto shined green onto her golden robes.

"I am the Sorcerer Supreme!!"
