A young man in his early twenties was walking down the street when he noticed an elderly man ahead. Suddenly, a truck's brakes failed, sending it hurtling toward the old man at a dangerous speed. Without hesitation, the young man sprinted toward him, pushing the old man out of harm's way. The old man stumbled to the side, safe, while the truck collided with the young man.
In the milliseconds before the impact, his life flashed before his eyes. He remembered being an orphan, adopted by a kind and loving couple who gave him everything they had. He was the proud older brother of twin girls, just five years old. As the truck loomed closer, a thought crossed his mind: At least Mother and Father won't be lonely. They have my two lovely sisters to care for them when they grow old.
Tears welled up in his eyes as he reminisced about the happiest moments of his life. But before a single tear could fall, his body was crushed under the weight of the truck. His limbs were torn apart, his organs scattered, and blood splattered across the road. The last thing he heard before losing consciousness was the horrified screams of the people who had witnessed his death.
As his consciousness began to fade, a voice reached him—a soothing voice that made him momentarily forget the tragedy he'd just endured.
When he opened his eyes, the first thing he did was check his body. To his relief, everything seemed fine. He sighed, thinking to himself, That was a strange dream.
But when he looked around, his heart skipped a beat. There was nothing but an endless white void. He looked left, right, even up and down—there was nothing.
"Look behind you, my poor child," said the voice again.
Startled, he turned around. Before him stood a radiant light so bright that he couldn't make out what was behind it.
"Who... who are you?" he stammered.
Without delay, the light replied, "I am the Creator of all things. I am the Beginning and the End—the sole God of everything."
The young man was in shock. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"I saw what you did, my child," the light continued. "You have a noble heart, and for that, I will reward you."
Still reeling from everything, the young man simply nodded.
"Here are your options," God said. "First, I can reverse time and send you back. Second, I can reincarnate you into a new life where you may live at ease. Lastly, you may choose any reward you desire."
The young man fell silent as reality hit him. So, I really did die, he thought. He began to contemplate his choices.
The first option would let me go back to my family, he mused. The second would give me a fresh start, perhaps in a wealthy family where I wouldn't have to work too hard. And the third... His mind raced. The third option lets me choose anything...
For what felt like hours, he weighed the pros and cons of each option. Finally, he made his decision.
"I choose the last option," he said firmly. As much as he wanted to return to his family, there was something else he wanted more. I'll find a way to see them again someday, he reassured himself.
God seemed pleased. "And what is it you desire, my child?"
The young man took a deep breath. "I want to be born in the Naruto universe."
God paused for a moment before asking, "Why would you choose a world filled with war and danger?"
The young man smiled, his mind drifting back to his childhood. "Ever since I was a boy, I've craved adventure and danger. My father and I used to travel to wild, untamed places like the Amazon. We even went on expeditions to active volcanoes to collect samples. As I got older, I joined every fighting club I could find, just to quench my thirst for combat. By the time I turned eighteen, I enlisted in the Navy SEALs. I spent five years there, serving my country, before I left to pursue my next dream: MMA. But my untimely death cut all of that short."
God nodded. "Very well. But know this—the Earth you came from is the main reality, the center of all realities. All other worlds are mere sub-realities created by me."
The young man frowned. "Why are you telling me this now?" he asked, slightly annoyed.
God chuckled softly. "Don't worry. Even though these worlds are considered sub-realities, they are still just as real."
As the young man processed this information, a giant projector appeared in front of him, displaying the creation of the Naruto universe. Mesmerized, he watched as God shaped the earth, separated light from darkness, formed the seas and sky, and brought forth plants, animals, and finally, humans. The sheer beauty of it filled him with a sense of duty—a desire to protect this world from harm.
"And now," God asked, "in what timeline would you like to be born, and in which village?"
The young man thought deeply. "After the Nine-Tails attack..." He paused. "No, I want to be born five years before Naruto."
God smiled. "Would you like any special advantages?" He was testing the young man.
The young man shook his head. "No, it wouldn't be exciting if it were too easy."
God was impressed. "You are the first person to make such a choice without asking for any advantage."
"Do you wish to be born into a family, or as an orphan?" God asked.
"I would like to be born into a loving family," the young man replied, "and I want to be five years old when I arrive, so I can start my training right away."
God approved. "It shall be done."
The young man's vision went black, and as he was transported to his new life, God whispered, "This is my gift to you."
Somewhere in a grassy field, a young boy around the age of five suddenly stirred...
