Chapter 63 : Chakra Training

Staring at the ceiling of the room Kai enjoys the rare occasion that has rarely happened since he entered the academy, chilling in the room in the middle of the day even though today was not on the weekend.

Because the difference between lazing around in the middle of the day on the weekdays and the weekend were so different that science itself cannot explain it.

Even though he was not actually lazing around when you take into account the leaves that were laying around him that he uses for his training.

That time after he had fallen asleep in the hospital bed when the process of regeneration was taking place, he was woken up in the morning and saw his mother who was sitting on the side of his bed looking at him with a worried expression on her face.

The moment his mother realized that there was movement in him and he was opening his eyes from his sleep, he saw his mother who straight away went outside the ward with a hurried step that made him a little stun because of it and without the time to proceed what happening he saw his mother that were already coming back with a medical-nin that instantly checked his condition thoroughly.

After he was finished getting checked up and the medical-nin was sure there's nothing wrong with him and his body, he was asked about how all of his injuries were healed in just a few hours.

Because when he was in his sleep that night his mother came back to the ward only to find out that all of the injuries that he suffered were already healed.

He told them about his experience feeling the unknown warmth that he felt across his body when he was left alone in the room and the fact that he only remembered until that point because of sudden sleepiness that came to him which made him not remember what happened after he had fallen into his sleep.

The excuse that technically almost the truth because he knew it was more safe then make up a lie that can easily be detected by experienced ninja.

After hearing his explanation the medical-nin was silent for a while before telling his mother about the only possible conclusion about his incident, which is his chakra that were going out of control and acting on his own because of his late openings.

After his mother was asking a lot more questions to the medical-nin about his condition and to make sure he was already fine, he was able to go home because all of his wounds were already fully healed.

Here he was staying in his room in the middle of the day on a non weekend day because of his mother that insisted he needs to rest first upon hearing the medical-nin recommendations in case his chakra were out of control again when he was in school that could have endangered his friends.

His father also teaches him about the introduction of the chakra control training that he is currently doing in the past few hours.

After resting for a while he could feel that his chakra were already fully restored to their full capacity, that also means he needs to rise from his bed and continue his chakra control training again that he has already been doing in the past few days.

Standing in the room Kai put all of his focus on a single point on the leaf that was placed on his forehead, he cleared his mind from any unnecessary thought that could have disturbed his concentration to stay focused in his training and start channeling his chakra to the leaf.

Without him noticing another 30 minutes has passed since his start his training, what made him coming out of his concentration was because he could feel that his chakra were starting to get depleted that made him in need stop channeling his chakra to the leaf or he was going to feel sluggish and really weak like what he feels on the first day of his training.

Trying to recover his chakra again, Kai went back to the bed and lay down in it to restore his physical and mental energy that he spent while he was training.

While resting on his back he thought about how fast he was able to control his chakra that he himself never expected it progressing that fast.

He thought it might be related because of his mental age and some skill that he bought from the system that increases his physical energy. Also the fact that his chakra pool was not that big made him have an easier time controlling his own chakra.

Feeling a lot more confident in his chakra training and he also started getting uncomfortable to keep staying in his room any longer he thought about trying the tree climbing practice that was more difficult then leaf method one to complete his chakra training for today.

Getting out of the guestroom that he was currently staying in because his original room was still in the process of refurbishing, he went downstairs and headed straight toward his backyard.

Before he even put his leg on the grass he heard the flapping sound of the wings that were getting closer towards him.

"Master Kai…, Wait…"

"Ahh…, Ōmu what's wrong?"

"Master Kai…, mother told me that you are not allowed to wander around."

Hearing Ōmu, who is already fluent in his speech, always brings a happy feeling in his heart, because it is really rare to encounter an animal who was able to speak.

"I'm not wandering around Ōmu I just want to get to that tree and test my chakra control training to walk on the tree."

"It's getting uncomfortable to stay inside the room, I'm pretty sure mother is going to understand."

"Let's go, you can watch me during my training."
