Chapter 59 : Competition...

Looking at the teacher who seems still talking to themselves to prepare for the semi finals Kai thought about the previous match that went more smoothly than he anticipated.

Standing up from his seat Kai looked to his side where Toka who also stood up and also looked back to him.

They walked at the same time to the center of the field, he could hear from behind Kanna who kept shouting her encouragement to both of them.

After reaching the center of the field where their teacher was already waiting for them, he put all of his focus in this match that was probably going to become really tough if he failed the trick that he was going to use.

"Might Kai…, Aburame Toka…, Give your opponent a sign of confrontation."

After giving Toka a sign of confrontation Kai applied a breathing technique that his father taught him to increase his adrenaline in his body.

Without wasting any time Kai lands his kick using the side of his legs to Toka who gets thrown outside the field with how strong his kick was.

Everything went silent, what he could hear was the sound of his heart beating really loud in his head with his chaotic breathing because using techniques that he hasn't really mastered yet.

After his teacher announced his win he heard some clapping and from the audience who's already coming back to their senses.

He walked to Toka who was already getting healed by medical-nin in the side of the field, he saw traces of blood that came out of his mouth that he knew were going to happen because of how hard his kick was even though he was already using the side of his legs.

"Sorry for the surprised Toka."

Kai talked while standing beside Toka who answered him with a thumb up before trying to speak with difficulty.

"I'm not expecting that you can become that fast Kai."

Kai was surprised that Toka can actually talk that long in those conditions even though he always talks at his minimum when in healthy condition.

"I also wasn't expecting that you already anticipated my move to rush at you at the start of the combat, even though you miscalculated how fast I probably was."

The fact that Toka instantly uses his insects at the very start of the combat and is already preparing his hand to cast his ninjutsu makes him think that he was probably too obvious using his breathing before the combat was started.

"TOKA..., KAI…"

Kanna also joined them and asked a bunch of questions to Toka condition where he only listened vaguely because of his focus already on the field, the next one who's going to win is going to become his opponent.
