Chapter 28 : Naruto Apartment

Kai walked with Naruto back to the apartment building where Naruto was staying.

Along the way he asked Naruto about how his days have been in the last week.

For example, he always asked Naruto about some simple stuff about how his daily life was, what food that was eaten yesterday and what interesting things that were found this week.

Even though it doesn't sound important to most people, Kai knows that simple question that he asked to Naruto always being answered with a smile on Naruto's face.

Feeling someone cares about you is always a happy thing to feel as a human being.

Halfway there he asked Naruto to wait while he stops at the shop where he buys some snacks and fruit that are not easily spoiled when placed at room temperature.

Even at first Naruto was reluctant to receive the food that he buys but he kept insisting to give it.

Because it was the only thing that he could do to help Naruto with his money without seemingly getting overboard.

He really has no idea why 3rd hokage was keeping naruto poor and he doesn't have enough power yet to bear the consequences of his actions if a mishap was happening for his recklessness.

After finishing his shopping he went back to where Naruto was waiting and they continued their journey.

Finally they arrive in the apartment building where naruto was staying, that looks really run down and old looking for the son of the hokage to stay.

That thing always makes him wonder whenever he visits naruto apartment is the whereabouts of wealth from naruto parents that was coming from prominent clans of uzumaki clan and being the son of the hokage, he has no idea where the wealth that is supposed to belong to naruto.

Going inside the apartment building they proceed to the room where naruto was staying.

After naruto opens the door to his room, Kai looks inside the room that was relatively tidy if he were to compare it with naruto on the series.

He already knows Naruto for about 2 years. If he doesn't encourage Naruto to become better, he will really become ashamed of himself.

Entering the room Kai places all the snacks and fruits that he buys on the table.

"Kai Onii-san."

Kai looks at Naruto who is already near him sticking his head to him who seems to be asking for praise after keeping his room tidy.

"Good job Naruto." Kai praises Naruto while caressing his hair.

"So do you do the homework that I prepared for you, Naruto."

Kai asked with a smile on his face because he knew that Naruto was really having a hard time in the context of learning.

"Hehehe…, it was too hard Kai Onii-san."

Naruto hands him a book about the homework that he prepared, scanning inside the book Kai saw quite a lot of wrong answers.

"It's okay, at least you already tried it."

After talking and playing with Naruto for a while, Kai glanced at the clock and realized it was already time for him to leave.

"Are you gonna leave Kai Onii-san."

"Yes, don't you remember I needed to be at home before my mother arrived."

Standing up from his seat, Kai goes closer to Naruto who's currently getting up from his seat with a sad expression on his face.

"You need to be strong Naruto, just remember you need to believe that they are always with you."

"Alright don't use your sad face anymore we can meet again."

Kai caresses Naruto's hair then starts walking to the door of the room.

"Don't forget to do the homework and eat the fruit so you can grow healthy."

Going outside Kai waves at Naruto that was on the door looking at him departing.

Looking at the sun after exiting the apartment building, Kai felt that he needed to go back quickly or his mother was going to scold him for coming home late.

Running all the way to his home Kai arrived at his home in no time.

Going inside the house Kai goes straight to the bathroom to clean himself up and change his clothes.

After feeling refreshed he played with the baby bird while waiting for his mother to arrive.

After a few minutes waiting his mother finally arrived with his father following after.
