Chapter 8: And the 3rd Shinobi war Begins.

"Year 56 March 4"

After my First C Ranked mission and me fighting and killing a Chuinin and assisting in eliminating two others I was regarded as the most prodigious of my generation and the youngest genin, with that I was only ever giving C Ranked missions with jonins and and genin teams and sometimes B Ranked missions with only jonins right now my total amount of missions is 168 Breaking it down it's like this.

D ranked- 54,

C Ranked- 89,

and B Ranked- 25,

Kakashi joined the academy 2 months ago and is already going up a year, one more month and he'll probably be in his future teammates class, And yeah the 3rd ninja war as begun. it began a week ago and I had to sadly say bye to my parents again but they wont have to stay In the front lines as they can have a chance to come back for a few weeks before they are going to be needed, This war is going to last a long second.

Walking with kakashi I started "Oi kakashi how's the academy been" I asked the boy " Boring" he answered "And there is this Baka obito that wont stop ranting about becoming Hokage" he finished as we Arrive at a ramen shop "WOW! you have friends?!" I asked sarcastically "what do you mean do I have friends" he said looking away as we take our seat "You never try to make friends while covering your stupid face" I said as we wait for someone to take our order.

"What do you mean stupid face!, and dont act like your different you dont have a single friend yourself" He shot back "So you do agree that your friendless" I double shot back "uh huh Of course am not I have friends" he said looking around, "oh really then where are they" I said "Teuchi san can I get two bowls of Miso ramen" i said before kakashi could talk back.

"Coming right up" he said from a part of the store. "Tch, when are you going to have your genin team anyway" kakashi said clicking his teeth "hmm oh yeah o dont really know maybe in two years or so." I answered back "oh" he said as our meal arrived.

"Thank you" I said "Hai" kakashi followed "Haha enjoy" Teuchi said as he takes others orders, after finishing it we left to go back home as it was getting late.

The next day I took my breakfast and greeted Chuji San good morning I went too the forest next to our house "ok time to try my kekkei Genkai's" haven't tried it till now because I was afraid of what was going to happen if a accident occurred "Ok The God said if I wanted to unlock my kekkei Genkai's I just have to make a set of handseals then imagine it" i said before thinking 'which one should I unlock first because of I remember right after unlocking one I have to wait a few months and it varies' after a few seconds of contemplating I came to a conclusion I'll unlock Blaze release first.

After making my choice I made 2 hand seals then imagined the jutsu. I imagined a Saberthooth tigers head covered in black flames Emerging from Normal flames and hitting An imaginary enemy completely devouring said enemy, opening my eyes I look down at my hand to see black flames dancing on it " hehehe this is awesome" making the handseals again.

With that just like I imagined I spit normal red fire and seconds later a sabertooth's head bathed in black eternal flames majestically came out and headed for a tree completely devouring it in black flames before going through more than 10 before stopping but the flames were still there burning through the ground and trees, quickly thinking I wanted it gone it dissipated. "Awesome" I thought.

The next day I didn't have anything to do because of the war am getting less and less missions I figured out some reasons why, the first reason is probably because it getting more and more dangerous to go out of the village because of the war.

another reason is probably the Hokage trying to minimize my outing of the village because I am a prodigy and the other villages might want to kill me or kidnap me, so I decided to keep training my blaze release.

"Year 56 May 18"

It been 2 months and am getting better at my blaze release I was able to Get some C ranked missions before being completely denied from going out of Konoha, anyways am waiting for Kakashi to finish is graduation, yeah kakashi is applying for early graduation just like in the anime. "Yo! kakashi" I shouted waving at him ignoring the people around us talking about us.

As we were leaving the academy ground's I said "so you decided to graduate early huh" I said drawing his attention "Still not as good as you so what's the point" he replied "Stop comparing me with yourself we are two different people so stop it already" I said, he just stared at me for a few seconds before saying "we seperate here, goodbye" he said before walking away.

"year 56 June 1"

I was just called in by the principal of the academy that there is a genin team needing a temporary team member so they can participate in the chunin exam happening this year 'this is my chance to become a Chuinin' if I can pass the exam I can be allowed to do missions out of the village, so I accepted.

Arriving at the training Ground I waited for a few minutes before a boy and a girl arrived arguing, they stopped when they saw me before I could talk tho the girl said "I guess you are the temporary genin even though you are very strong dont think you can replace rino-kun you hear!!" she finished practically screaming "and I dont plan to" i said calmly, she stared at me for a few seconds before looking away "HMPH" she finished the boy just jumped on a tree before sitting on the branch.

After a few minutes the jonin sensei arrived she was a woman probably in her early 20's quite pretty too and said I should introduce myself to which I complied "Well my name is Rai Inazuma favorite color is blue, and my favorite food is oyakodon" I finished making the girl flinch at my name and the boy to look at me amazed the jonin leader said they should also introduce their selves they tried to refuse but after getting scolded by their sensei they begrudgingly did so now I know their name's are Mako and tenzen the girl being Mako and the boy being the tenzen, after the introduction she jonin leader said the Chuinin exams start next week.

Arriving home I told Chuji San and my parents who came came back from a mission to the front lines a few days ago, about my day, after having dinner with my family I went to bed.

And for the rest of the week I trained in Kenjutsu with my father now I can add all my chakra natures on a katana like my father, after finishing another session of practice with my father pummeling me to the ground I left for the team meeting site, it was time for the Chuinin exams.

Arriving at this years exams site our sensei left us as we were escorted into a room when we got there we were told to take a paper from a box and and write something down on a the paper and what we wrote must be similar or the same as our teammates wrote.

Taking my teammates to a corner before the test started I said "of course we wont know what we each wrote so I say let us cheat it's just that we can't be seen my the practice instructor" I said "we may not like you but that's a good idea how do you suppose we do that the instructor's are Chuinin level" Said Mako "I know I have a way to pass you information, so you see I can manipulate the wind when you hear the wind read it" I said it seems like they understood what I meant.

The plan worked perfectly and we were able to advance to the next round, more than half of the team's that did the first round were eliminated so we weren't that much left maybe just 15 teams left including us.

"Ok you brats this is the forest of death each team will get a scroll called the heaven and earth scrolls respectively, you are not allowed to open it no matter what" he said as he started to pass the scrolls around, after getting our scroll which was a earth scroll we decided tenzen will hold the scroll.

after a quite a while we were allowed to go in as had 5 days, and if we dont make it in 5 days we were disqualified, after a few minutes of searching for a team we found one, but before we could do anything they attacked without warning.

All three of them coming after me at the same time completely disregarding Mako and tenzen, the first to reach me was the girl as she came in with a punch which I dodged but was heading for a few Shuriken's coming my way blocking it with my tanto, I appeared behind the girl and before she could react I knocked her out with a Tap to the neck dropping her I blitz her other teammates trying to creep up on me, while the last one just gave up and handing us his teams scroll which was a earth scroll that we didn't need.

Nonetheless we took it and went our merry way while mako and tenzen are mopping on how they were just ignored, finally we found a team after an hour of running, and I was starting to get bored so I blitz them, and got their scroll which was another earth scroll.

As we were mopping for different reason with me contemplating about my luck and the other two how useless they were we found a two teams in the middle of a battle, when Mako and tenzen were thinking about waiting for them to finish their fight so they can go after I said "We dont have to we can take both of them in one fell swoop" I said confusion apparent on their faces, but before they had a chance to ask I did Handsign's too fast for then to see.

I finished as I added a lot of chakra to increase the output a large amount of water came gushing out of my mouth completely engulfing the unsuspecting individuals, after the water died down and tenzen and Mako finished their mopping again...we went to check what scroll they had, with a team having the one we needed.

And after a hour or so we reached the tower, after entering we were told we were the 3rd team to arrive. suprising my two teammates but I was just looking foward to the finals and maybe fighting some strong guys, If I were to measure my strength I would say my Kenjutsu is Tobeketsu jonin level My chakra control is probably at Jonin level my speed also at jonin level my Shuriken jutsu probably at jonin level too and my kekkei genkai power at elite jonin level.

After the 5 days were complete only one team made it, the next day we were led to the arena in which we saw the Hokage give his speech about the will of fire and trying our best before finishing and going to his sit. i looked up at the stands that were filling with people whom are mostly civilians, kids, and academy students and some genins.

Spotting our sensei then kakashi and Chuji-San I smiled "what why are you smiling" asked tenzen "oh it nothing" I said as tenzen gave me a weird look before going for her match, I watched as the fight started her opponent was also a female, with the battle beginning tenzen threw a couple of Shuriken's to distract her opponent before making handseals and slamming her palms on the ground.

With that the surrounding earth around the other female started to churn and fly towards the enemy before hitting her leg then more started moving towards her and before we knew it she was covered in earth and unable to move "winner tenzen toroke" the procktor said as the crowd cheered. after that nothing worth mentioning happened and now it's my turn and as I made my way towards the arena the cheers grew louder 'I guess am pretty popular'I thought.

Facing me was a boy about a few years older than me looking at me like he already lost 'Depressed?' I thought as the proctor announced the match as the guy whom is named miniku Ukimi, jumped father back and did some handseals.

firing off a couple of compressed water towards me in which I dodged easily before closing in on him and using the hilt of my tanto, hitting it on his legs pressure point making him slump down but I quickly pulled back as it turned to fire, and cutting through a water whip with my tanto covered in Fuuton. before jumping back avoiding another water whip that cut the earth around there "wow you really are stronger than I thought" said the Male as he landed on a tree near me "And your good" I said before vanishing and appearing next to him before slashing at his direction but he just turned to fire that burned the tree as I retreated "you know I thought those rumors going on about you were all lies but you have proved me wrong today" he said as I slashed at his direction with my Fuuton coated tanto.

But he dodged getting tired of this guys game I made a single seal

Kage Bunshin no jutsu

As 20 clones appeared, greatly suprising the guy "ok this guy is annoying you all spread out so we can end this already" I told my clones as they nodded and did as told a minute later a clone came with a knocked out guy "found him" said the clone as it dispelled showing what happened, as the clone found the guy he blitz him knocking him out with a quick kick to the face.

After the proctor announced my win the crowd burst into cheers before the fights went on. but mako eventually lost to a compressed air bullet to the gut with the last match being me versus Tenzen which suprised me because I wouldn't have thought this tsundere girl would be this skilled.

"you better get ready I wont go easy on you" she said "Do your best" I said as I ready myself before I took out my tanto and coated it with lightning chakra as the proctor announced the match before I engaged her which after a minute I won and as the crowd burst to even more cheers, the exam ended.

Coming out of the arena with my two teammates right beside me our sensei Appeared "Good job you three especially you Rai" she said congratulating us, after which we went to the Hokages office and after getting promoted to Chuinin tenzen was also promoted leaving only Mako as a genin saddening him but he got over it in seconds as we got took our leave we greeted bye to each other as we separated.

On my way back home kakashi tagged along and after a little talk we separated and I made my way back home and after giving Chuji san a hug we talked a little before I went to sleep.

The next day I went to get a mission to which I was given I was to go with a team of jonin's and Chuinin's the border of the land of grass as some mist nin are around that area and the unit sent to hold them back needs support, after packing my stuff and greeting Chuji-San goodbye I met up with the team and prepared to leave I saw kakashi's approaching figure as he stopped in front of me said four words that made me smile "Dont die out there" he said as turned away and disappeared through a crowd of people.

As we began our departure we arrived at the borders of the land of fire at nightfall before making camp and continuing our journey the next day finally reaching our destination at nightfall "Are you the backup" said a man as he walked towards us "yes and you are?" said the captain of out squad "the captain of this unit" he said but I sensed some negativity in his words as he outstretched his hands for a hand shake to which our captain took.

Looking around I scanned the area feeling something was amis like really wrong but before I could dwell on this feeling even more I heared metal clashing begore barely dodging a kunai heading for my back "attack!" I heared before all hell let loose.

barely dodging a compressed wate bullet I moved my hands as a water whip came flying through the air and wrapping against a Chuinin level enemy and begore he could scream I pushed lightning chakra through the water frying the guy killing him as I jumped on a tree almost immediately dodging a compressed Fuuton jutsu completely cutting through the tree quickly following up with a Ram handseal hundreds of smoke bombs went off before hundreds of clones appeared "Attack"i shouted as they went head on against the hundreds of enemy ninja.

How did this happen again? well that's a long story. ahh it a very long story.
