A Sparring Match

<1 MONTH LATER>

In the middle of the forest, 2 silhouettes could be seen moving at amazing speeds, fighting and chasing after each other.

Clang---!

A deafening sound of metal striking metal echoed. One of the two, jumped and tried to land a kick on the other by twisting his entire body at 360 degree mid-air which was parried by the latter with his arm.

After grasping his leg, he punched towards him but failed as the former manoeuvre his body to escape his grasp and created distance between them.

Finally ,the two people fighting could be seen clearly.

The latter after failing his counter attack picked his sword back up and closed his eyes before opening them again. But this time his eyes were red with 2 tomoes spinning rapidly.

He had jet black hair, wearing a black high neck and short-sleeved t-shirt and same colour trousers.

This was none other than Shisui Uchiha, and standing opposite of him was Hatake Shirou with his spiky hair held back with the Leaf headband, wearing a blue full sleeved t-shirt and black trousers along with wrist protectors...

After staying bedridden for a month, I asked Shisui for a spar. I wanted to get back on track before taking on anymore missions also I wanted to check how powerful I am compared to Shisui.

However, being bed ridden didn't mean that all I did was sleep. During this time, I had continued practicing my 'Force Control', as well as I practiced 'Projection and Scan'. And I have to say that I have become much more comfortable using both of them.

My command over electricity has been increased greatly and it is much easier to control (as long as we are talking about controlling electricity in my body). Also, It now takes me much less time to project any small non-living thing. Although the time has been reduced, the quality is a totally different case....It hasn't improved at all.

If I remember correctly, In order for me to perfectly use this skill, I have to understand the constituting material of the object I want to create rather than just the outlying structure, so that the weapons wouldn't be hollow.....What that actually means, I have no idea.

I guess I can only go with trial and error for this one.

Moving on, when I asked Shisui for the spar, the rest of my team members were there as well. Overhearing our conversation, Captain Kou offered to spectate the spar to point out our weaknesses and what we should work on. Ayane and Akane decided to spectate us as well.

After finding aa suitable spot inside the forest, Shisui and I stood about 15 feet away from each other whereas the rest stood a good distance away from us so as to not get involved in our spar.

Shisui asked "What are the rules for the spar?"

"Well I have to get back in the groove so let's use anything we want in order to win. But Since I already know the outcome if you use Genjutsu so let's use everything other than that."

"Alright" He said and nodded

"Then.." I said while picking a small stone from the ground "We will start as soon as this stone hits the ground."

I tossed the stone up high and got into stance for a taijutsu battle. Although I said we would be free to use anything, it was obvious that we would go from taijutsu, to bukijutsu and then finally ninjutsu and then just a fight without any restrictions whatsoever.

'The last part will be so much fun' I was suppressing myself from smiling so that none will think of me as a psychopath.

As soon as the stone fell, I concentrated my chakra under my feet and let it burst out all at once, increasing my speed. In just a blink of an eye, I was already in front of Shisui, aiming my fist at his stomach.

Just when my attack was about to land, he diverted it with his left hand, while side-stepping to right. and preparing an attack with his left hand.

'He wasn't even surprised by my attack!! How?' I exclaimed mentally.

Changing the speed at which you are moving instantly is the best way to change the tides of the battle, creating holes in your enemy's defence, or just catching them off guard. However none of that happened with this guy....He wasn't even fazed.

His fist was nearing, I could tell that it will be a direct head, I had already lost my balance. But as I was facing his attack, my eyes were glued to the 2 tomoes in his eyes spinning rapidly.

'Ahh I see so that's how...' I realised how he managed to predict this. It was due to the OP eyes he possess.

At last moment, I predicted the area where the attack will hit me and started coating that area with the thickest layer of chakra as I could manage. I admit, it was a waste of chakra but I had to minimise the damage I would suffer and this was the most efficient method to achieve that.

"Boom!!"

An explosive sound rang out as his fist collided with my chest clad in chakra, arching my body to the side because of the force of the attack and launching me a metre above the ground.

'IT WAS A FUCKING KIDNEY PUNCH!! WHAT THE FUCK IS HE THINKING' I cursed mentally

Kidney punches are aimed directly at the back, it is very brutal and can damage you internal organs easily. It is illegal in boxing and kickboxing...at least back in my world. But even in this world, it would be fatal if it is a direct hit.

'This was a bit too much to use in a spar.'

I was brought out of these useless thoughts in my mind, as I saw his kick coming towards my face. This time I was not late and blocked his attack by crossing my attack in front of me.

I was still launched back to the spot where I was at the start of the fight.

I reached for shurikens in my ninja pouch and threw them while flipping mid air in order to stop him from advancing towards me when I had lost my ground beneath my feat.

I succeeded in doing that and touched the ground with my right hand in order to do a flip again and throw the shurikens at him again but also to stabilise my landing. As soon as my feat touched the ground, I summoned my katana out of the seal from my wrist band and rushed at him again.

This time I didn't rushed in blindly, I mean I am not stupid enough to make the same mistake twice.

At the beginning of our fight, as I was amassing chakra at the sole of my feet, He must have seen that through his eyes and that's why he knew what I was going to do.

When he saw me taking out my katana, he took out his short sword as well and rushed at me as well.

Then we had a second round with our swords. We coated our weapons with our chakra in order to make the blade dull so that neither of us suffers any serious injury even by accident.

Our second round started out with both of us fighting on equal grounds. However as the fight went on I started overwhelming him. It was mainly due to the increase in my raw strength with the help of the force control as well as my speed.

He started getting used to my speed and movements which was my cue for bringing a change in pace. I again started manipulating electricity inside of my body and started increasing it's flow and speed. I remember from the biology class I had back in my previous world where we were told that our bodies are using e-impulses, which can travel up to 120 meters per second. I can't even imagine what it's speed should be by now.

However, I limited my use of it. I didn't want to end the spar here by using my full speed which can even rival that of jonins. Not to mention, Shisui hasn't even mastered the regular body flicker jutsu to an amazing level yet.

(A/N: They are only eight years old. So even if it's Shisui he wouldn't have been able to master it at a high level. Our MC hasn't mastered it either.)

As the fight went on, Shisui was covered up in small slashes all over his body. After finding the right timing, he increased the distance between us and started weaving and signs.

"Great Fireball Jutsu"

He spat out a huge fireball radiating an amazing amount of heat, he had perfectly mastered a <C> rank jutsu.

'The sharingan is more than just OP' I thought

The most efficient way to deal with this would have been to use a water jutsu, earth wall or just dodge it. Of these three options, the only one I could perform was the last one since I don't have any water or earth style jutsus. However, I wanted to see if I could actually split it into two.

I used scan on my sword and enforced it's functionality in all aspects, I then used my chakra to sharpen the edge of my sword and then I coated it with the densest layer of electricity I could my manage.

The crackling sound of lightning started echoing and from the corner of my eyes, I could see Captain Kou and others admiring it with big wide eyes.

I immediately flushed out all of these useless information from my mind and started focusing on the task at hand.

Lightning is the hardest element to control out of all others, especially in shape. not to mention I didn't want to shoot the lightning from my sword in shape of an arc towards the approaching fire ball. So I had to focus even harder.

When the fireball was 3-4 feet away from me, I slashed down hard, my sword forming a bright wight arc completely splitting the fireball into two..

"BOOM"--

This resulted in an enormous explosion leaving a crater of 2-3 meter around me. I could literally feel the astonished gazes of everyone around me. But I didn't have the luxury to take all of that in. I had just got my chance.

I had to attack him when he was distracted by what just transpired.

I quickly covered the distance between us and manage to to land a strike on his upper right arm. After the attack landed, he burst into a cloud of smoke.

'Shadow Clone Jutsu' I murmured, being genuinely surprised.

I was then subjected to a barrage of shurikens and kunais from my flank, but I was able to easily parry them and I made sure to cut the string off of every shurikens I saw as well.

He then jumped towards me from the tree branch where he was previously standing.

Forming the hand seals mid air, he said

"Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu"

Multiple small fireballs flew towards me in random trajectories. Now I could have dealt with this just like the previous fire ball but there was something else I wanted to try out as well. A new jutsu I had in my mind. Well not exactly original but for this world, yeah pretty much.

I held out my hand towards the incoming fireballs and started concentrating lightning at the tip of my hands.

"Lightning Style : Byakurai"[Pale lightning]"

A condensed beam of lightning flew out of my hands, splitting in different directions and intercepting each of the fireballs coming towards me.

One of the beam of lightning even went towards Shisui who wasn't able to guard himself properly since he was in mid air. Not to mention, surprised by the attack, Since he knew that ninjutsu wasn't really something I was comfortable in.

The lightning attack grazed his right thigh but left a fairly good injury.

Good enough to stop him from moving. He didn't have a good landing afterwards and rolled and fell to the ground.

I quickly closed the distance between us and help the tip of my sword against his neck.

"Alright, the spar ends here and the winner is Shirou." Captain Kou said landing near us after watching our battle.

I stored my sword back into my wristband and held out my hand towards Shisui.

He smiled at me and took my hand to stand up.

"Looks like you win this time" He said

"Yeah this is the first time I have won against you. Though if we had included Genjutsu, I am pretty sure you would have won before we even began our fight." I replied

I am not foolish enough to let this fight get to my head. We fought in the field where I specialised where as Shisui who's strongest domain is Genjutsu had to fight against me in swords and Taijutsu.

This was far from being a fair fight.

But aside from this, I was more concerned about what was going to happen now.

I had revealed a completely new <C> rank jutsu. One has to know that depending on the amount of chakra you put into it, a <C> rank jutsu can change from <C> to <S> rank as well. And to be honest, It didn't consume much of my chakra.

'This is going to be a pain in the ass' I sighed mentally.
