The cloud Jonin threw some shurinkens towards both of them. Chino used the red water to defend against them while Kaito performed a jutsu.

'Crystal Release: Crystal Lance'

This jutsu allowed Kaito to create a large and sharp blue spear-like crystal surrounding his forearm. He used this to block all the shurinkens aimed at him.

He followed it by thrusting the spear towards the Jonin who just dodged it effortlessly.

Kaito didn't give up and used another jutsu.

'Crystal Release: Growing Crystal Thorns'

He created pink thorn-like crystals that he can manipulate to continuously grow towards the Jonin's direction.

Chino created the tentacles out of the red water to hinder the Jonin's movements.

The Jonin did not seem faced by the situation as he continued doing what he did and that was covering his sword with lightning and cutting through both crystal thorns and the red water.

'Damn it, nothing seems to work against him. Both my crystal release and Chino's red water is useless against him. Sensei was right, we should have focused more on the other things outside of our kekkei genkai. We need an opening and a distraction to even have a chance against this guy.' Kaito thought

As he thought about this, there was a huge crackling of lightning and thunder from the direction of Yoriichi's battle.

Both Chino and Kaito along with the Jonin from Kumo turned to look in Yoriichi's direction. They all saw him covered with lightning and thunder with the lightning destroying the surrounding landscape.

'He is covering his body with more Lightning than the Raikage's lightning cloak Jutsu. Surely, his body won't be able to handle it and would be torn apart after the Jutsu. If not for his Uzumaki healing, he would be handicapped for the rest of his life.'

They watched as Yoriichi moved and in a blink of an eye, the elite Jonin with the storm release Kekkei Genkai died.

Both the Kumo Shinobi, Chino and Kaito were in shock to see the destruction caused by the lightning trail and the aftermath of it. Kaito managed to come out of shock and took the opportunity to strike the Kumo Shinobi.

'Crystal Style: Wild Dance of Shuriken'

He surrounded himself in pink crystal particles, condensing them into numerous shuriken that continuously revolve around him as he launched them at high speeds towards the Jonin.

The Jonin at the last second managed to get his focus back to the battle and managed to dodge or block most of the crystal shurinkens. But they were just too many of them as he got hit by a few of them.

Chino took advantage of this situation and put him in a Genjutsu with the help of her Dojutsu.

Kaito who still has a crystal Lance on his hand tried to pierce the Jonin's heart. But the Jonin managed to get out of the Genjutsu and managed to tilt his body a little as the Lance pierced his left shoulder instead of the heart.

The Jonin looked angry at this "You little brats. Look what you have done. Let's get this over with."

He made some hand signs and then bit on his thumb and placed his hand on the red water as a seal formed on it.

'Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning jutsu)'

A Porcupine Summon came out of thin air. It had a sturdy yet agile body as big as a car. His body was covered in an intricate pattern of sharp quills of varying lengths.

'Crystal Style: Wild Dance of Shuriken'

Kaito fired another round of crystal shurinkens towards the summon and the Kumo Jonin.

By channeling chakra into his body, the Porcupine expanded the quills on its body to act as a defensive Armor. It managed to prevent the crystal shurinkens from harming both him and his summoner.

The Jonin made hand signs as both him and his summon used a combination Jutsu

'Combination Jutsu: Lightning Needles'

The Porcupine fired the quills from his body while the Jonin infused them with lightning chakra. Hundreds of lightning needles were aimed at the two young genins of Uzushiogakure.

Kaito tried to block them with a crystal wall but it easily got pierced by the lightning needles.

Chino tried to block them with the red water but it also failed its purpose.

'Damnit that was the last of my chakra.' thought Kaito

"Chino if you still have any tricks up your sleeve, this might be the time to use them." Kaito said to Chino

"Nothing that can harm him or save us from this situation." Chino said with a distressed look.

"Sensei, a little help might be good here. Agh, I am so tired right now. I am going to have a nap." said Kaito as he laid down on the ground.

As the needles reached both Chino and Kaito and were going to pierce them, both Chino and Kaito disappeared inside their shadows and appeared at a different place.

"For trying to sleep while still inside a battle, I might just kill you myself Kaito." said Genkai as he appeared where Kaito was previously at.

"Now let's get this over with quickly." Genkai said casually as the Jonin looked terrified to see Genkai still here and appear out of nowhere.

"You can teleport? How? Were Uzushiogakure hiding your true abilities?Kumo needs to know about this." The jonin said as he launched another combination Jutsu of lightning needles with the help of his summoning animal, the Porcupine.

He knew he couldn't beat a genuine S rank Shinobi, more so after he found out, the said Shinobi can teleport. So he decided to run.

"Idiot, I can teleport? How are you supposed to run from me." Genkai said as he ignored the lightning needles and appeared from the shadow of the running Jonin and slit his throat with a kunai.

"That's how you do it kids, easy and simple." as he turned his direction to the summoned Porcupine with a curious glint in his eyes.
