Chapter 4

In the evening of that day, inside Sinbad's worn-out apartment.

Sinbad's apartment is located in a neglected part of the village, showing signs of time and abandonment. The walls are cracked, and the paint is faded and peeling. The furniture is old and simple, barely meeting basic needs. The floor is covered with old, torn carpets in some places. A small window lets in dim sunlight, creating a somewhat gloomy atmosphere inside the apartment. In the corner of the room, there is a tall, dilapidated mirror, in front of which Sinbad stands, examining his body.

Sinbad stands naked in front of the mirror, examining his body. Then he says with admiration as he touches his abdominal muscles, "Wow, I never dreamed of having a body like this." He then looks down and smiles foolishly, saying, "Even my little friend from my past life didn't cross over with me..."

Suddenly, his smile disappears, and he looks at the system screen.

The next morning, Sinbad opened his eyes with difficulty to the sunlight shining on them, "My eternal enemy, you won this battle but you won't win the war."

He dressed and prepared to head to Field Number 4. The large trees lined up on both sides, their dense green leaves blocking most of the sunlight, creating a refreshing shade along the way. The ground was covered with a layer of gravel, with some grassy patches here and there. Birds chirped above the trees, and butterflies flew among the wildflowers that grew along the road.

Upon arriving at Training Field Number 4, which is located in a secluded area surrounded by dense trees, the ground was covered with short grass, and some areas were covered with hard soil. There were clear signs of previous training, with small pits and multiple footprints visible. In the center of the field, there was a large circle drawn with chalk, used as a starting point for training and battles. The atmosphere was quiet except for the sound of the wind passing through the trees, adding to the feeling of anticipation. Anko was waiting there.

Anko looked at him with some annoyance, "You're late."

Sinbad with a sly smile: "Today is beautiful, do you know what would make it even better?"

Anko blushing slightly, "What?"

Sinbad, "Silence," then laughed hard. Anko puffed her cheeks, a vein popping on her face, and lunged at Sinbad to punch him.

Sinbad dodged the punch, and they continued like this in a cat-and-mouse game for a while until Sinbad's expression changed and he looked at the trees, saying, "Orochimaru-sensei, aren't you coming?"

Anko stopped and looked where Sinbad indicated, as Orochimaru walked out of the bushes. The atmosphere noticeably changed; the air became heavier and more electrifying, making everyone feel a strange, invisible pressure. The surrounding trees seemed to retreat slightly, as if they were afraid of his presence. His long shadows undulated unnaturally on the ground, moving with each step he took. The air became colder, and a smile was on his face.

Once he stood a few steps away from them, he spoke, "Well done in discovering me, Sinbad-kun," then looked at Anko, "You need to pay attention to your surroundings, Anko."

Anko, "Hey," then continued, "But this idiot just discovered your presence."

Orochimaru smiling, "I've been here since you arrived, Anko, but his expression changed for a fraction of a second when he arrived," then looked at Sinbad, "He may be an idiot, but he makes up for it with keen senses."

After a moment of silence, Orochimaru said to them, "Here is your test. You have one hour to fight me and try to convince me to keep you on this team and not send you back to the academy."

Anko, "But didn't we graduate?"

Orochimaru, "The academy gives us the freedom to send you back," suddenly Orochimaru released an unbearable pressure. Anko staggered a little, and Sinbad grabbed her and retreated.

Orochimaru, impressed, talking to himself, "I increased the pressure from yesterday, but he can still think clearly."

In the forest surrounding the field, Sinbad lightly slapped Anko on the face until she regained consciousness.

Anko, surprised, "What happened?"

Sinbad, seriously and with some sweat running down his face, "You fainted from his pressure, that monster is in a different world from insects like us."

Anko, "What should we do? How can we even get close to him?"

Sinbad, "Calm down, if we get close, he'll blast us with that damn pressure again."

Anko, "So are we waiting to be sent back to the academy?"

Sinbad, "No, the only solution in my mind is to face him head-on, especially since he doesn't take us seriously. You just need to support me from behind so you don't faint again."

Anko reluctantly, "Fine, it's not like there's another solution."

Suddenly, Sinbad appeared rushing out of the forest at a rapid pace, using his unique patented technique. His eyes gleamed with determination and resolve. Orochimaru smiled at him, then disgustingly spat out his Kusanagi sword. As Sinbad's sword reached Orochimaru, the latter deflected it with force, causing sparks to fly from the impact.

The fight began sharply and swiftly, with Orochimaru attacking lightly and quickly, using complex tactics and skills honed over many years of training. He leapt lightly, dodging Sinbad's strikes easily and returning with quick, precise attacks. On the other hand, Sinbad dodged the blows with surprising agility, leveraging his exceptional speed and agility. Although his strikes were not as precise as an expert's, his determination and enthusiasm were evident.

Every strike from Orochimaru seemed aimed at ending the battle quickly, while Sinbad tried his best to survive. The ground beneath them trembled with each violent move, and the surrounding trees shook as if feeling the power of the struggle. Sweat poured from Sinbad's forehead, and his face showed fatigue, but he did not give up. His eyes shone with determination, and every muscle in his body worked at its maximum capacity.

As time passed, Orochimaru noticed that Sinbad was becoming more skilled and powerful. The more intense the combat, the quicker Sinbad adapted, learning from every move and every strike. Orochimaru began to smile with great admiration and enthusiasm: "This child is like unpolished diamond; in my hands, I can turn him into a powerful monster."

In the midst of the intense combat and focus, Anko threw shuriken at Orochimaru, creating a brief opening. Sinbad seized the opportunity, using all his strength to strike at Orochimaru. The sound of the collision echoed in the area, but Orochimaru vanished in a puff of smoke, suddenly appearing behind Anko, holding his sword to her neck.

Time seemed to stop for a moment. Cold sweat ran down Anko's forehead as the sword approached her. Her eyes widened in shock and fear. Sinbad looked at the situation with concern, breathing heavily from the effort he had exerted.

Orochimaru said in a calm but threatening voice, "Surrender."

Sinbad, panting heavily, looked at Orochimaru and then at Anko, and said in a broken voice, "We... surrender. That was all I could do."

Orochimaru smiled coldly as he withdrew his sword, then said, "Well done for knowing your strengths and weaknesses. I congratulate you on your official graduation. We'll go to the Akimichi Meat Restaurant to celebrate your graduation."
