Chapter 32

After several months, specifically on the last day of the school year, at Gamma training ground.

Sinbad, looking at Class 1-A with some pride, said, "Well done surviving the past year. I'll see you at the beginning of the new school year. Don't forget to train hard because I will be testing your growth in the first class of the new year. So, excuse me, I have some pizza to steal, ahem, I mean borrow from Mic." Sinbad then vanished in a puff of smoke.

Akira, panting while lying on the ground, muttered, "That monster... damn... cannibal with no mercy in his heart. A whole year of fighting him, and each time he crushes us worse than the last."

Oku, hanging from one of the pipes, commented, "He has an insanely strong Quirk."

Mirio, tied up like a gift, added, "It's not the Quirk that makes him strong but how he uses it. This man trained like crazy to be this way."

Everyone then heard Mic screaming at the top of his lungs, "Siiinbaaaaad, you damn thief, I'll burst your eardrum if I find you!"

Inside Nezu's office, Sinbad and Nezu were eating pizza.

Sinbad said, "I told you Mic has great taste in pizza."

Nezu, smiling while eating a slice, replied, "It really is great."

Nezu continued, "Congratulations on entering the top 10 in hero rankings after just one year of starting your work as a hero."

Sinbad responded, "It's the least I can do."

Nezu, with some pride in his voice, said, "Your teaching style has clearly improved your students' levels, especially Mirio, Nejire, and Tamaki. Those three are now comparable to professionals after just one year of your training."

Sinbad said, "They're only at this low level because I train them only once a week." Then, looking Nezu in the eyes, he continued, "I want at least two days a week to make them real fighters. Imagine that after a whole year of fighting me, they still lose horribly. I remember after six months of training with my teacher, I could fight him for five days straight without rest."

Nezu said, "I'll think about it, especially since they'll soon start getting their provisional licenses."

Sinbad, with some excitement, asked, "Has All Might really returned to Japan?"

Nezu confirmed, "Yes, All Might has returned."

Sinbad said, "I have a request, Nezu."

Nezu, raising his right eyebrow, asked, "What is it?"

Sinbad replied, "I want to fight All Might unofficially, away from the media and everyone's eyes. I want this fight to be here on the large grounds behind the school."

Nezu said, "That's a great idea. I'll contact him, so enjoy your vacation."

Sinbad said, "Don't worry, I'll make sure to enjoy every moment of it."

At Sinbad's house, with the remaining Mic's pizza beside him, Sinbad said, "Alright, let's continue making the truth-seeking balls."

Sinbad closed the door behind him.

Sinbad said, "Congratulations on the vacation, Midoriya-kun. Now we can move on to the next stage of training."

Midoriya, excited, asked, "Really, what is it?"

Sinbad replied, "Hand-to-hand combat and honing your instincts."

Midoriya began to say, "Wha..." but was cut off as Sinbad struck him on the head, causing a bump.

Sinbad said, "This way, I'll attack you, and you have to defend yourself and try to counterattack. Don't worry, I'll let you hit me from time to time."
